I booked a trip with two of my best friends to Lux Secret Retreat in Chongzuo, and the whole experience was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The most delightful surprise was the hotel's signature bamboo raft afternoon tea. Because of the heavy rain beforehand, the water level was too high, so we couldn't go. Doris from the hotel kept a close eye on the situation for me and immediately contacted me and made a reservation as soon as it was possible on our check-out day. The bamboo raft gently glided through the clear water and lush bamboo groves, with delicate refreshments and fruit drinks. As we drifted, the unique peaks on both sides slowly receded into the distance, making for fantastic photos. My friends and I chatted and admired the scenery – the atmosphere was absolutely perfect. A romantic afternoon tea combined with thoughtful service – it was all wonderful!

A very satisfying stay! The lobby is spacious and the environment is excellent. Water Lotus Concierge provided fantastic service. The room facilities were complete, and the bed was very comfortable. I'll definitely come back to this hotel!
After leaving, I suddenly wondered if the Chongzuo Suket Collective is part of the same group as the Zhongwei Yellow River Suket Collective? The location is well-chosen, too 👍. Four hotels are clustered together, sharing a restaurant and gardens, and the hotel activities are also shared.

Guest UserTraveling with my family, we chose Changliushanju, and it was such a peaceful and refreshing escape with lush green mountains and rice paddies surrounding us. The front desk lady was incredibly kind and attentive; she processed our check-in quickly and even proactively gave small toys to the kids. Our room was spotless, and we could enjoy beautiful mountain views right from our bed, making for a wonderfully restful sleep. They had a ton of activities planned for the summer holiday, so there was never a dull moment at the hotel. The family-friendly activities like making sticky rice cakes, fishing for crayfish, and water sports competitions were all thoughtfully organized. The kids had a blast, and the adults could relax and unwind, making for an overall warm, comfortable, and perfect short family getaway.

Jenna M CWe had a lovely stay at Mingshi Yaju Hotel. The hotel staff were kind and accommodating. The buffet breakfast was tasty and there was enough variety to choose from. The room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The amenities inside were great too. We made use of the gym and the pool. During our second day, the hotel let us use their bicycles to explore around Mingshi.
Overall the experience was relaxed and enjoyable. Unfortunately there was a little bit of construction happening nearby, but it didn’t generate too much noise and in the evening everything was quiet and peaceful.
For dinner was chose not to eat at the hotel, but rather to explore the restaurants around just outside of the park area. I had a great time and would recommend to friends.

MeziieA very satisfying trip! Since it was the off-season, there were fewer people, and the service was even more attentive. It's not just a hotel, but more like a community, with services like travel photography and a Chinese restaurant also open to the public. The coffee shop across the way, 'Dao Na Li', is a popular spot for Instagram photos, but hotel guests can enter for free.
The service was excellent! The package I bought included afternoon tea, a travel photography session, and more. They even packed up our afternoon tea for us to take away. The staff were all very enthusiastic and helpful in resolving any issues.
However, the restaurant, travel photography, and hotel seemed to operate independently. When I placed my order, it said I needed to book several days in advance, so I called before checking in. The attitude was good, but they kept telling me someone would contact me later, which created a slow information gap. The travel photographer added me on WeChat around 10:30 PM that evening, and the restaurant didn't add me. When I called to inquire, they asked for my room number, which I didn't have since I hadn't checked in yet. Upon arrival, the reception seemed a bit confused; I guess during the off-season, reservations aren't really necessary. There was also a tour group dining at the same time, with their guide using a megaphone to celebrate the festival, which truly gave it a 'community canteen' vibe in the literal sense.

SofiahuajimeirenThe room facilities were relatively new and the room was spacious, which was good. However, the following issues significantly impacted the experience: 1. The bathroom drain smelled terrible. I stayed in a room on the second floor, and the entire bathroom reeked of the drain. I had to keep the toilet lid closed and the bathroom door shut to avoid affecting the bedroom. The stench was unbearable as soon as you entered the bathroom. The shower drain was also clogged, and the water temperature control faucet malfunctioned. I couldn't adjust the water temperature to cold and almost got scalded while showering. The water wouldn't drain properly, and it flooded into the bedroom. I had to call housekeeping and the maintenance staff to finally fix it. 2. Security: The balcony door couldn't be locked. 3. Service: The housekeeping staff were quite polite, but the concierge's initiative needs improvement. When we parked our car at the door, the bellhop with lots of bags stood there without reacting. Only when I went inside to get the luggage cart did he slowly follow me to get it. After I finished loading my luggage and went to check in, the bellhop abandoned the cart and disappeared. In the end, the front desk staff helped me push the luggage cart to my room after checking me in, seeing that I had a child with me. The chubby, bespectacled guy at the front desk deserves praise.

Guest UserFind a feeling of living in a paradise. When traveling to Chongzuo, accommodation is really the key. It can relieve all fatigue!
This place is built along the Black Water River, with quiet scenery. The characteristic mushroom house is independent and very private. In order to avoid the hustle and bustle of the big city, we provide the most suitable place for those who just want to relax.
The breakfast, fruit and good night dessert provided by the hotel every day are delicious and considerate.
The cushions, pillows and quilts in the big bed room are comfortable and can reach a deep sleep state. You don't need to bring too many toiletries when living here. The hotel provides enough, and also considerately prepares makeup remover wipes, facial masks and steam eye masks.
The house itself is very suitable for taking pictures and punching in. It is recommended to enjoy breakfast in the cabin. It is really pleasant to eat breakfast while watching the scenery. If time is not tight, you can read a book in the cabin and enjoy a quiet afternoon. Experience the flow state of integration between man and nature. The scenery of the Black Water River next to the restaurant is super beautiful.
The hotel recommended the chartered car master Yang **********, which is really warm and trustworthy. According to your ideas, we will recommend the best itinerary, so that you don't take detours and can see the most classic scenery in a limited time. I got acute gastroenteritis during the tour, and the driver also bought me magic medicine. I recovered in one day🙏
It is necessary to charter a car to visit Chongzuo. Each attraction is far away, dozens of kilometers apart. Thank you Master Yang for accompanying me all the way and escorting me safely. I also thank you for explaining the local customs and landscapes along the way🙏🌷

ShiweiqibushiweiqiOverall, not bad.
The housekeeper took us to pick bananas, paddleboard, kayak, ride a motorcycle, and ride a mountain bike. The scenery along the way healed the city's oppression of reinforced concrete. Next time you come back, you can take your family to experience the children's fun room, and experience the spa, Huashan motorboat tour, afternoon tea, ATV mountain biking, etc. [Come on]
2. Room: The scenery is very good. I forgot to take pictures of the balcony view. When I woke up in the morning, I opened the curtains and a large landscape ink painting came into view. It started a beautiful day and was refreshing.
3. Public area: clean and hygienic, the mirror pool reflects the blue sky and white clouds, accompanied by the sound of gurgling water, looking at the Hui-style architecture, it feels like entering the south of the Yangtze River at a glance
4. Catering: quite satisfactory and in line with the positioning
5. Disadvantage: There are too many activities and I can’t finish them all in one day [laughing through tears]
