Chongzuo Hotels with Bars

I booked a trip with two of my best friends to Lux Secret Retreat in Chongzuo, and the whole experience was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The most delightful surprise was the hotel's signature bamboo raft afternoon tea. Because of the heavy rain beforehand, the water level was too high, so we couldn't go. Doris from the hotel kept a close eye on the situation for me and immediately contacted me and made a reservation as soon as it was possible on our check-out day. The bamboo raft gently glided through the clear water and lush bamboo groves, with delicate refreshments and fruit drinks. As we drifted, the unique peaks on both sides slowly receded into the distance, making for fantastic photos. My friends and I chatted and admired the scenery – the atmosphere was absolutely perfect. A romantic afternoon tea combined with thoughtful service – it was all wonderful!

We had a lovely stay at Mingshi Yaju Hotel. The hotel staff were kind and accommodating. The buffet breakfast was tasty and there was enough variety to choose from. The room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The amenities inside were great too. We made use of the gym and the pool. During our second day, the hotel let us use their bicycles to explore around Mingshi. Overall the experience was relaxed and enjoyable. Unfortunately there was a little bit of construction happening nearby, but it didn’t generate too much noise and in the evening everything was quiet and peaceful. For dinner was chose not to eat at the hotel, but rather to explore the restaurants around just outside of the park area. I had a great time and would recommend to friends.

Extremely satisfied with this guesthouse! I initially chose this location because the electric scooter parking at Yu Lin Ba (Fish Scale Dam) costs money, so I figured I'd stay here, see the dam, and then rent a scooter. That turned out to be a great decision – the location is incredibly advantageous, and currently, this guesthouse offers the best value and is the prettiest in the area. The hotel rooms come with washing machines, there's a 'Sky Mirror' on the rooftop, and a kids' pool downstairs. What really stands out is how attentive they are to every detail. Every corner is spotless. When I went to the Sky Mirror at noon, an auntie even specially cleaned the glass. The swimming rings by the pool were all nice and new, not tattered at all. The room also had a Tmall Genie, and the cleaning was impeccable. I arrived early, and they opened one room for me, and I practically watched them prepare the adjacent one. When we checked in, the staff immediately took photos of our license plate to link it to the parking system. The service was incredibly thoughtful, and we even received brown sugar as a parting gift when we checked out. A truly delightful stay!

Because I played Funa Secret Land and wanted to find a nearby homestay, I was cheated to set a huge and huge homestay. I could call the police. After seeing the room, I decisively retired (a hidden lightning), and hid into this homestay hidden near the Heishui River. The name is very good, ”bo'an”. This design is not for conspicuous, but for ”invisible” - so that the sight can penetrate the glass without obstruction, directly on the outdoor karst forest and green field. The vegetation in the courtyard is very ”barbaric”, with huge banana leaves almost poking under the eaves, and the white walls form a strong visual contrast. Walking in it creates an illusion: not people live in buildings, but buildings are gently wrapped in rainforests. The most touching are the designs of ”borrowing”. Whether sitting on a wooden chair in the living room or on the terrace of the room, the end of the line of sight is always the continuous green hills, winding rivers and open fields. Here, the building itself is like a picture frame, setting the most essence of Guangxi landscape into the background of daily life. 🥢 About that dinner Originally, I didn't have much hope for dinner at the hotel, but I was surprised. The sweet wine and fish are sour and sweet, and the roast chicken is very good without condiments. Other ingredients are also fresh with the mountains. Especially sitting in the warm light of the lanterns, the window is the ink mountain shadow, the atmosphere is more impressive than the taste of the food itself. Be sure to eat in the evening when the lights are on. At this moment, I feel that I am not eating, I am participating in a private banquet in the mountains. 🛏 Regarding the living experience: The room is large and very transparent. The bedding is the kind of soft cotton texture, the toiletries are full of details, the toothbrush 🪥 are all covered with dust cover, and there is floss. The boss wants to come to be a Virgo. ～ There is no need for any strategy here, and there is no need to hurry. Wake up by birds in the morning and fall asleep with insects at night. If you want to find a place to really calm down in Chongzuo, this may be the right place.

The room has a nice view, is clean and hygienic, is spacious, the bed and mattress are comfortable, and the rooms in the back row are quiet. The lobby is also worthy of the price. The disadvantages are: the air conditioning in the room cannot be adjusted by each guest, it is fixed at 25 degrees, and the quilt on the bed is very thick. In short, it is hot when covered with the quilt, and cold when not covered with the quilt. It is not a good sleep at night. The room does not have a small table, so it is impossible to make tea. There is a Shanye Mixiangcai restaurant near the hotel, which is delicious, and the average consumption per person is about 100 yuan.

The room facilities, though a bit dated, were very well-maintained and clean, showing the hotel's dedication. The hotel is located near the Guichun River within the scenic area, offering views of the Vietnamese people across the river, though the barbed wire fence is a bit of a letdown. However, the hotel's garden restaurant is an absolute disaster—the food is unappetizing and truly awful. I'd recommend eating before you check in or returning to the hotel to rest after you've had a meal elsewhere.
