I’ve always like Ji Hotel. The decor is consistent and classic. The location for this hotel is quiet and it suits my purpose for this trip to Jingzhou. The 阿姨 there brings out the microwave oven to help me heat up my food even though they are having their lunch. She even remembers that I stayed at level 10. Very good customer service. The other interesting observation is that this outlet doesn’t have urine smell on the engineered wood floor at the toilet. I think the 阿姨did a good job in cleaning.

The location of the hotel is very good, with beautiful scenery of mountains and rivers outside the window. The weather in Songzi has been cool these two days, which makes it a very pleasant stay. The hotel is newly opened, the rooms are large, the hardware facilities are excellent, the bedding is very comfortable, and the intelligent system is very convenient. The service is also great. Thank you to the lady at the front desk for upgrading my room type for free. The breakfast is very rich. This should be regarded as the most upscale hotel in Songzi. I will definitely choose it next time I come back.

However, some of the facilities were a bit awkward. The duplex double-bed room is clearly designed for families, but there's no place to put clothes or towels inside the shower. You have to go in and out naked, which is definitely awkward when you have older children. There's actually space right outside the shower, under the stairs, so they could easily add a partition to create a changing area. Additionally, the lighting couldn't be controlled separately for the two floors; it was all or nothing, which was quite inconvenient. Finally, every time I entered or exited the room at different times, there was a strong smell of smoke in the hallway. This is the first time I've encountered that in a star-rated hotel.
