5-Star Hotels in Jingzhou

The hotel's facilities are quite good, but the service is truly appalling. The environment is excellent; there's a large lawn right outside, and beyond that is a lake, where many couples hold lawn weddings. However, the service is rather mediocre. 1. The hotel offered complimentary tickets to the adjacent flower field, but they weren't given to us upon check-in. We only found out after walking for quite a while to the entrance—it takes over ten minutes round trip. 2. When guests arrived and called to request a few bottles of water, we were told the hotel could only provide two free bottles; more would cost extra. Honestly, I haven't encountered such a stingy hotel in recent years. 3. They knocked on our door around midnight, saying they wanted to bring us toothbrushes, but we didn't want them. After asking around, we found out the staff had misread our room number. 4. There's a long sofa in the lounge area near the elevator in the corridor, and I often see unruly children climbing and jumping on it with their shoes on. Once, I even saw a floor attendant folding a bath towel on the sofa. 5. Before check-in, I received a call from Ctrip saying that the hotel wanted to ”upgrade” my booked Superior Lake View Twin Room to a Deluxe Twin Room and asked if I was willing. However, the Deluxe Twin Room was actually cheaper than the Superior Lake View Twin Room. Isn't this blatant deception?

First of all, Wangwang (0006) in the front desk was very nice, patient and helpful to me all the time. She provided me ice amd dvdn thought she wasn't on duty the next day, she still managed to check on me. The Resort has such amazing facilities, unfortunately some areas look unattended and some pools are closed. I stayed in a cabana looking the lake, it was very cozy and comfortable, but the swimming pool closeby was closed so I needed to walk about 10-15 mins to go to another swimming pool. Surprisingly, the one that was open was in the area were they are reshaping some rooms, so it was noisy with hammering and drilling all day. Not good when you go there just to relax. and this wasn't mentioned anywhere in the hotel description or small letter. It’s a good destination for families with kids, since it has a water park inside.I would go back once I know the remodeling is finished.
