4-Star Hotels in Pu'er

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Baibale and would recommend it without hesitation to anyone visiting the Lancang area. The facilities were excellent—everything was clean, comfortable, modern, and thoughtfully maintained. After long days of cycling, it was the perfect place to rest and recover. One detail I especially appreciated was the generous standard checkout time of 2:00 PM, which made departure much more relaxed than at most hotels. The included breakfast and lunch were both fantastic. The food was fresh, delicious, and gave me a great opportunity to enjoy local flavors without having to rush out to find a meal. What truly sets Baibale apart, however, is the staff. I was bikepacking across China and later flying onward, and they went far above and beyond to help me throughout my stay. Whether it was assisting with logistics, answering questions, or simply taking the time to make sure everything was going smoothly, they consistently showed genuine kindness and hospitality. One of my favorite parts of my stay was spending time talking with the staff about the different local teas. They were incredibly knowledgeable and happy to share their passion, making the experience feel much more personal than just staying at a hotel. Those conversations, along with all of their other thoughtful help, made my time in Lancang especially memorable. If you’re staying in the Lancang area, Baibale is a place you shouldn’t miss. Between the excellent facilities, great food, generous checkout time, and some of the warmest, most attentive hospitality I’ve experienced anywhere, it was easily one of the highlights of my trip across China.

The rooftop garden at Shanhao Garden Hotel in Ning'er is absolutely stunning! The design is breathtaking, the rooms are spacious and airy, and the smart home features enhance the overall experience. Complimentary coffee and tea are available, and you can swim directly in the heated pool. The receptionist is incredibly friendly and helpful, even assisting with your luggage and recommending fun places to visit nearby. She's also very pretty. The location is convenient, making it a must-stay in Ning'er!

This hotel offered an excellent experience! The price was reasonable, the decor was exceptionally stylish, and the service quality was top-notch. It was very clean, and for guests staying multiple nights, they even thoughtfully cleaned the room and provided foot bath tubs and soaking powders, along with many free travel essentials. It's truly considerate, something many other hotels don't offer. The breakfast variety was also quite good. The best part is the hotel has a huge parking lot with charging stations. The front desk service and housekeeping were both fantastic, and they even helped with luggage. This stay exceeded my expectations; it was incredibly worthwhile. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Pu'er.

Warm reception upon arrival, and the facilities are all top-notch, even offering late-night snacks. The room is spacious and clean, well-equipped with excellent hot water for the shower and efficient air conditioning. The hotel also boasts a gym, laundry room, and a lovely terrace with great views. It's located close to Ximabo River and Meizi Lake, but getting to the city center for a city walk is easy by bike. There's also a bus stop right outside, making transportation very convenient. Highly recommended, I'd definitely stay here again.

I won't say much about the good and bad of the villa. I give it three stars for the overall evaluation. I probably won't go there again in the future. The stream is very dirty and you can't catch fish. You can't see the sunset when riding up the mountain. I give the restaurant 80 points for the food, but I have to give it 100 points for the service. There is a chef who is very nice. You can ask her to cook for you. I rented a car from Pu'er Station and drove to Aini Manor. The road was winding all the way. The road was easy to drive, but there were too many bends, so new drivers should go slower. There is a row of parking areas at the front door of Aini Manor. Because I rented a car, I took extra care of it. At about 8 o'clock after dinner on the night of check-in, I checked the whole car and went back to the room to sleep. When I checked out at 10 o'clock the next day, I suddenly found a scratch on the right side of the car from the front to the back (from the front wheel fender to the rear wheel fender). It didn't seem to be an accidental collision, but it felt intentional. So I found the manager of the villa, Mr. Zhao, and arranged to check the surveillance (only the parking spaces facing the lobby door can be seen clearly because there is no surveillance outside and can only be seen through the indoor surveillance). My car was not parked in front, so the surveillance could not see the details. I called the police, but because I had a later trip, I could not wait for the police who would come two hours later. I had no choice but to sacrifice several hours in order not to be fined a large amount of repair fees when returning the car. I searched for repair shops around Baidu and polished it myself, which cost 100 yuan. After negotiating with Manager Zhao, because the accident happened inside the villa, the villa should also bear a certain responsibility for the care of the vehicle and should bear my repair fee of 100 yuan. But! Manager Zhao did not respond to my WeChat. Anyway, you have left, and the attitude of completely ignoring it is really chilling. Friends who go to play again, protect your car and don't let such unpleasant things happen! ! ! Friends who rent cars must buy full insurance, including scratches, so you don't have to worry about it😭

This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to leave a positive review for a hotel! The accommodation was excellent. They offer complimentary drinks and popsicles on the first floor. I was even upgraded to a better room for free, which I really appreciate. The room was fully equipped with Xiao Du smart controls, making everything super convenient. They also provide free late-night snacks, and the reception staff were incredibly thoughtful. When I asked for one late-night snack, they even offered to let me try a variety of options! The bathroom has a great wet/dry separation design, and in addition to regular towels, they also provide disposable towels. For rooms with bathtubs, they even include bath amenities, which is a nice touch. After checking out, I was able to store my luggage and pick it up later when I returned from my errands.

The hotel's location is fantastic, just a short walk to Daijiaxiang. The room was very clean, no bugs at all. The front desk staff were super thoughtful, providing a variety of snacks and drinks for guests to take. Breakfast was also good, with more than enough options for a morning meal. Puer is a great place to visit! I'll definitely come back!

After eating, I met with Xiao Bao teacher in the experience center to participate in the night exploration. I didn't expect the night exploration teacher to be a beautiful woman. Because it is the off-season, I am a person. We have become a girl party. Imagine how comfortable it is to have two girls in the Ailao Mountain with headlights at night! There is no big boy hunting insects, the picture is extremely peaceful and beautiful. Mr. Bao took me to find a dozen insects, all of which can be seen in the zoo. The road at the foot of the hotel room can be seen everywhere, and insect lovers are ecstatic. Later, we came to the reptile hall. I was ecstatic and rapturous. The four-legged snake was an hour. The teacher was helping me take pictures and explain. Her explanation was not based on the book. It was all interesting stories and personal feelings. We seemed to be a pair of girlfriends talking about plants, animals, Life's insight. Two hours of the whole night. After breakfast the next day, Mr. Bao took me to the reptile hall to visit the animal rescue. The keeper teacher looked at the animal with full love. After three days of non-stop searching, they finally found it in the factory of the linen cleaning company and delivered it back to the lady at the front desk of the hotel in time. After adding WeChat for confirmation, they handed it to the SF Express courier to send it back to us. The child was really happy when she saw her teddy bear was found. We had almost no hope, they were really caring and made our family feel very warm. Recommended to everyone, this is a very warm hotel! The first established hotel as you enter the mountains, with plenty of parking spaces right across the street, which is very convenient. It's a bit far from the attractions, so you'll need a car. They offer butler-style service; they'll contact you the day before to provide the address, travel tips, and other information. The hotel has a good variety of activities planned, including roasted milk tea, stir-fried melon seeds, and bonfires in the evening. The hotel's dinner was just okay, with plenty of room for improvement. Breakfast on the rooftop had a great ambiance and taste. The rooms aren't luxurious but are perfectly adequate. The air conditioning was a bit old and didn't heat very well. I didn't have time to experience the travel photography session. It was really expensive during Chinese New Year, haha.
