"The hotel staff were all incredibly welcoming and proactive, greeting us and helping with our luggage. Our first impression was wonderfully refreshing. Even though the hotel was renovated a few years ago, the facilities are still very new and clean. The room was spacious, had a bathtub, and even provided disposable toiletries, which was a very thoughtful touch. The hotel's meals were also delicious, genuinely tasty. Next time I'm in Pu'er, I'll definitely choose this hotel again. P.S. It seems there are other Deting Hotels in Pu'er, so make sure you navigate to the correct one: Deting Garden Simao Store."

"I initially saw reviews praising the excellent service, and I thought, 'How good can it really be?' Wow, was I surprised! Every staff member at the hotel greeted us warmly whenever they saw us. The glutinous rice pu-erh tea in the lobby is absolutely delicious; I even bought some to take home because I got hooked on it! I didn't arrange for airport pickup in advance – they mentioned it should be done a day prior, which was my oversight – but they still upgraded my room. My luggage was incredibly heavy, and those young ladies insisted on helping me carry it; I honestly felt bad letting them! The hotel amenities were also spotless, even the linen room was neat and tidy. And let's talk about the brunch, folks, you just have to try it! I almost ate myself to death! Next time I'm in Pu'er, I will definitely stay here again; it was completely a hit, no misses!"

"This was probably the best hotel I stayed in Yunnan so far. To start, the room was incredibly clean, new, spacious, and most importantly comfortable, the bed was comfortable and clean when I got there. On top of this, the amenities within the room are amazing, AI assisted curtain and light activation, strong and fast AC system. The bathroom was huge and had individual rooms for the shower and toilet. The shower area had everything needed and was very spacious. Tons of kits for shaving, vanity, and all that you would need for a hotel stay. Even more, there was an air purifier and majiang table. If you order delivery there is a robot that sends the food to your room. Staff were very friendly and dependable, gifts were given during leaving, there was also a free breakfast and bridge crossing rice noodle kit that you could order anytime, very tasty! Lastly, and also very important for travelers, the location is superb, being situated close to the city center and only a 15 minute drive from the train station and opposite side of town. Very convenient!! The area is also quiet and relatively clean."

"Facilities: Old, room next to the elevator, which was quite loud. Cleanliness: Fair. Environment: Excellent, right by Meizi Lake, with direct access to the lakeside boardwalk from the back. "It's very conveniently located right after exiting the highway. The hotel has underground parking with charging stations. It's about 1.5 kilometers from Daijia Lane, and there's a super delicious and never-queue-bound Lao Cu Niang (Old Vinegar Lady) sour vinegar rice noodle shop at the intersection downstairs. The rooms, hallways, and public areas were all very clean. There was a washer and dryer, and some nice magazines were available at the restaurant entrance. The breakfast was incredibly plentiful. The freshly cooked peanut soup with rice noodles was especially delicious, and there was a good variety of fruit, including a huge ginseng fruit."

"The service was quite attentive; both check-in and check-out were very pleasant, and they even offered desserts in the evening. The location of this hotel is excellent, within walking distance of a nearby mall, the famous Daijia Alley, and dining spots. There are also some nice cafes nearby. The room type I stayed in was very spacious, with a nice courtyard. However, the larger rooms face north, so they get a bit less sunlight, but overall, the space is generous and very comfortable to stay in."

"A fantastic hotel in Pu'er, newly opened recently. I especially loved the double vanity and the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom – awesome! The breakfast was plentiful, including freshly ground coffee. Although they couldn't froth the milk, it was still quite good. 👍"

"The room layout is well-designed and spacious, and the bedding is soft and comfortable, ensuring a super sound sleep. The soundproofing is also excellent; I didn't hear any noise at all at night. The wet and dry separation in the bathroom is very well done, and the toiletries are of good quality. The hotel's breakfast buffet offers a rich variety, including Chinese hot porridge and steamed buns, Western toast and milk, as well as fresh fruits and local specialties, all of which taste great. The afternoon tea is also fantastic, with freshly ground coffee that's very aromatic."

"The hotel is located in the tea city, nearby are shops selling Pu'er tea, convenient transportation, friendly to self-driving tour, convenient access to the highway, parking is also very convenient, the room is spacious, clean and bright, the bedding is comfortable, the shower and toilet facilities are complete, easy to use! The breakfast buffet is more in line with expectations, and a buffet lunch is also sent, which is very cost-effective for self-driving tourists! The only downside is that there are many small holes and spots left after removing the advertisement in the elevator room, which may leave a flaw in the overall image of the hotel!"

"Didn't take any pictures, so I'll borrow two from other reviews. I rarely write hotel reviews, but this time, while visiting Pu'er, I stayed at two hotels, and it really highlights how much comparison matters. This was the first one I stayed at, and honestly, I had a feeling the experience wouldn't be great even before arriving. My booked room supposedly included free airport pickup. I proactively called the front desk to book it in advance. They asked me to add the hotel's WeChat, but their replies were very cold. Regarding the pickup, they said they couldn't come at our arrival time due to a group charter or some other reason, and told us to take a taxi to the hotel, which the front desk would reimburse. I said I understood. However, when we arrived at the hotel in our own taxi, I saw two hotel shuttle vans sitting empty right outside the entrance. Honestly, if they don't want to offer this service, they shouldn't advertise it. To advertise it and then not provide it, based on the front desk's mood, is really baffling. As for the front desk staff's attitude, it felt lukewarm at best, not particularly professional or enthusiastic. The uncle making noodles at the breakfast restaurant was actually much friendlier. It was a stark contrast to the front desk staff at the next hotel we stayed at, where the young men and women at reception were professional and welcoming. Saying 'home away from home' might be an exaggeration, but at least they made guests feel very comfortable checking in. Also, the room didn't feel very spacious. Right behind the door, there was a wad of used tissue that hadn't been cleaned up. Overall, aside from the reception attitude (I'm not saying it was outright bad, but for a 300+ RMB per night room, we didn't even hear a 'welcome' or anything similar throughout our stay, so the experience was definitely mediocre) and the airport pickup, which I found subpar, everything else was fine. The hotel's location is good."
