Luxury Hotels in Pu'er

"A truly excellent experience! We stayed in an independent treehouse, and it felt like an oxygen bar, a world teeming with small animals. Visiting the red panda sanctuary was also fantastic, a fascinating world of diverse flora and fauna. We learned so much and got up close with plants and animals rarely seen elsewhere. The hotel service was superb. From Miss Zhao at the check-in desk to the golf cart drivers, restaurant staff, and even the cleaning aunties, everyone was incredibly polite, professional, and enthusiastic! My only suggestion for improvement: The food wasn't very diverse or authentically Yunnanese. Since it's located in the mountains, you can't really access outside dining, so you're reliant on the hotel's offerings. Specifically, the 'ganbajun' mushroom fried rice – as someone from Yunnan, it was quite disappointing. There were only a handful of 'ganbajun' mushrooms in a plate of egg fried rice, and the price wasn't cheap. Why be so stingy with the mushrooms to give it a proper fungal aroma?"

"1. I booked a rainforest king room, but upon check-in, the front desk claimed they were upgrading our room. In reality, they gave us a room facing a residential building, with the door directly opposite a staff work area. 2. When I asked the front desk to change rooms, the new room still faced a residential building. Since it was late when we arrived in Pu'er, I didn't press the issue. The next day, when extending our stay, I specifically asked the staff to change the duvet cover, bed sheets, and pillowcases. However, upon returning, I found the pillowcases hadn't been changed. 3. This hotel is really hyped up online, but honestly, it's just average. Especially the brunch and late-night snacks – they're all the same. 4. The rainforest landscaping downstairs wasn't fully completed. The coffee was very mediocre, tasting as rough as something from an automatic coffee machine. On the second evening, while relaxing downstairs, several children were making a lot of noise, swearing, and using a fishing net to catch fish, trampling on the lawn and moss. No one stopped them the entire time, which made for an extremely poor experience."

The breakfast and the serene mornings at Meizi Lake were truly the highlights, and I have to praise them individually! **Breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious** 🍜 The buffet breakfast offered an amazing variety, far exceeding expectations. The authentic Pu'er rice noodles had generous toppings, rich broth, and were so good I had them two days in a row without getting tired of them. There were also freshly grilled steaks, pork chops, and bacon, along with hot dishes, congee, pastries, and fresh fruits – catering to both Chinese and Western preferences. I left feeling completely satisfied. The ingredients were carefully selected, and the flavors were spot on – the perfect way to start a beautiful day! **The morning at Meizi Lake was breathtakingly beautiful** 🌫️ Staying by the lake is pure bliss! Opening the window in the morning, Meizi Lake was enveloped in a thin mist, like a flowing ink wash painting. The lake water was emerald green and clear, reflecting the green mountains and blue sky, with golden sunlight piercing through the morning fog. Walking along the 4-kilometer wooden boardwalk by the lake, the air was filled with the fragrance of tea and fresh vegetation, creating a tranquil and healing atmosphere. Every step was a scenic view, and every casual shot looked like a professional photograph. The hotel service was attentive, the room was clean and comfortable, and the electric carts were readily available on call, which was very convenient. Overall, the experience was perfect. This is my top choice for a Pu'er vacation, and I will definitely come again!"

"The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming. They called me the day before check-in and added me on WeChat to introduce the hotel and even upgraded my room. Although the hotel is close to the airport, there's no aircraft noise; in fact, you can watch planes take off. The hotel is spacious, with very new and modern facilities. My room was quite large, and the amenities and bedding were definitely five-star standard. Breakfast offered a rich variety of dishes, with both Chinese and Western pastries and meals, and the dining environment was very comfortable. The hotel is close to the city center, making it easy and affordable to get to all the attractions by taxi. I moved here from another hotel in Pu'er, and this one is definitely the best in the city. [Jianhua Hospitality] Airport/Station Transfer Service: The hotel provided a transfer to the high-speed rail station. The driver arrived punctually, was very friendly and polite, and the car was spotless. If I ever come back to Pu'er, I'll definitely stay here again."

"The first afternoon tea at the restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The noodles were very delicious. The service was also very good (a bit too good, I felt pressured). However, the facilities and surrounding environment of the room made people feel that the cost performance was a bit low. The environment you can see from the balcony is average, and you can always hear the sound of cars on the road not far away."
