4-Star Hotels in Sokcho-si

We went on a trip for my mother-in-law's birthday, and I was so surprised by how clean and spacious the accommodation was! The cleanliness was top-notch, and my mother-in-law was very satisfied, so we've decided to visit again next time. ^^

Perfect stay! The room had a wonderful view of the ocean and coast, we took many nice pictures. The hotel is literally in front of the SokchoEye, perfect to relax after a long drive! The room was spacious, we had a tiny kitchen which was extremely appreciated! Easy parking. The self check-in and self check-out were the cherry on top 🥰 I’ll definitely stay here again in the future!

Location : not far from Sokcho express bus terminal and Sokcho intercity terminal by taxi/bus , exact location in Maps but don’t have any sign outside the building. Can walk to Sokcho market, GS25, King Crab restaurants. Room : New and clean, I have ever stayed in Busan branch before here is a bit tiny space for 4 people. Have enough nessesary amanities including automatic toilet, only 2 bottles of water/day. Maid make up the room every day. My room have a side of habour view = you have to lean out from the balcony to see the sea view. Receptionist : kind & polite, 24 hrs at front. Could request to call a taxi but somes dont use the taxi metre and ask for higer price. Kakao taxi is better.

The view is great. It feels a bit dated, but it offers good value for money for a large family. The elevator is very crowded and difficult to take, and even though the parking lot is huge, there are so many cars that there is nowhere to park. Nevertheless, the market is close (10 minutes by car) and you can see the lake, so we had a good rest. Although it is located in Chase, since it is a different establishment, the contactless check-in made it feel more convenient.

I visit Sokcho every summer. This is my second visit here, and the breakfast is simple yet substantial. The better rooms even have washing machines. Since it has a view of Cheongcho Lake, I get to enjoy the water to my heart's content. It is located close to Sokcho Central Market, so I don't have to worry about food.

No tea bags or coffee sachets provided, which is a bit weird.  Water pressure for shower is way too weak.  No room cleaning services, leaving alone having your new towels put outside your room in the morning. Only 4 lifts serving way too many hotel stayers, resulting in long waiting lines and thus, time.  Views are magnificient however.  The room is so massive and the balconies are spacious.

While not far from the bus terminal, the hotel is quite a distance from Sokcho city center and major attractions. Unless you're there for golf or a group event, it's not a particularly convenient location. However, the internal facilities are excellent, with a restaurant, cafe, water park, coin laundry, and arcade, so there's no real need to leave the premises.

I arrived using the navigation system without knowing that the Orient Hotel and the Sunrise Hotel are together, but I was embarrassed because there was no Orient Hotel. When I contacted the front desk of Sunrise Hotel, they said they would operate together, so they were very big and entered. Unlike ordinary hotels, the dormitory has cooking facilities such as water tanks and electric stoves, but there are no tableware such as pots, so it cannot be used, and there is a washing machine. I think it's probably used as a resort and changed to a hotel. The bedding was clean and clean, so there was no inconvenience to use. Sokcho Central Market is also close and it is difficult to find a hotel with such a good value for money, such as being in a good location to buy and eat food.

Compared to the older facilities, it was well-maintained, so I had no inconveniences at all. The room was spacious! The amenities, including the unmanned cafe on the first floor, the convenience store, sauna, and arcade, were great. 🙂🙂🙂 It rained so I couldn't go, but it would be nice to just walk around the resort. However, the trash can in the kitchen was covered with a rag, and they hadn't emptied it. I thought they forgot, so I overlooked it, but please double-check the cleaning! Overall, I was satisfied and would definitely visit again!

The manager Mr. Lee is very friendly and nice. He drove us to the bus stop on the raining day when we checked out. The hotel location is great, can walk to the Mt. Seorak. We also thanks to the senior couple of the hotel who are very funny and very kind to us too.
