The hotel is beautiful, and the room's floor-to-ceiling windows facing the sun provide excellent natural light. You can sit by the window and enjoy the sun around noon. Ordering takeout is also very convenient, as a robot can deliver it directly to your room. On the day we checked in, the sun was lovely, and we wanted to stroll by the river. The front desk staff patiently and carefully helped us with directions. It's very easy to get from the hotel to the river; you can go directly via the underground parking garage. It was a very satisfying stay.

The hotel is located on the bank of Xin'an River. We stayed in a room with mountain view. When we opened the window, we could see the misty smoke and mountains. On the other side was the gurgling Xin'an River. There was a walking path outside the first floor of the hotel. We took a walk in the morning and enjoyed the beautiful scenery while drinking coffee at breakfast time. It felt like being in a paradise. The room was relatively small, but the facilities were quite complete. The restaurant had rich food, good taste and beautiful environment. Next time, we will definitely stay in a room with lake view and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Xin'an River when we opened the window.

My friend told me that Fangwai Hotel is like a secluded paradise, perfect for unwinding. We brought our child here for the May Day holiday and booked a Mufeng Suite on an upper floor. The room size was just right, and the layout was very sensible. The minibar selection was excellent, not just random generic juices, but well-chosen options like Perrier and Voss mineral water. Before we even arrived, the concierge, Xiaoyu, was actively communicating with us and her responses were indeed very prompt. Whether it was delivering mineral water or picking us up from the cafe, the service was always quick. When we first arrived, our room wasn't ready yet, so we went to the Fangwai Hall to do some Song brocade painting, which was a lot of fun. I made one myself, and when my child arrived, the staff member kindly helped them make another, patiently guiding them throughout the process. Everyone had a great time. The vegetables, bamboo shoots, and other dishes in the restaurant were all incredibly fresh and delicious, with a wonderful taste of seasonality. Although the breakfast was simple, it was refined and didn't give the impression of a large selection with little edible food. The toppings for the noodles were very substantial. The service staff were all kind and approachable. Even though it was May Day and the hotel was quite busy, and you could feel the staff were under some pressure, their attitude and efficiency with guests were commendable. Next holiday, I'll definitely book a two-day stay so we can more leisurely explore the greenway along the Xin'an River.

I stayed two nights during the New Year's holiday. It's close to Lingxi Cave and Daci Rock. The room didn't have underfloor heating, so it felt quite cold in winter. The air conditioner could only go up to 21.5 degrees Celsius. We needed to take a shuttle bus to get to meals and go out. Breakfast was just average compared to other ordinary five-star hotels in Qiandao Lake. For dinner, we opted for room service, but the food was a bit cheap. We ordered shrimp and snow peas, but there were only three or four small pieces of shrimp. For 48 yuan, we got a large bowl of snow peas. The advantage was that there was no service charge, and the food was still quite hot when it arrived at the room.

Our stay during the May Day holiday was absolutely fantastic! The hotel is right by the Xin'an River, and our river view twin room offered breathtaking panoramic views of the Xin'an River every morning. The scenery was simply stunning. The service from Miss Yezi was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. She proactively helped us with our luggage and brought it to our room, and she also thoroughly explained all the hotel's facilities. We booked a scuba diving session a week in advance, and staff member Huang Jing arranged it perfectly for 3 PM on our check-in day, which was excellent timing. The diving instructor, Yixia, was very thorough and professional in her explanations, making it a great experience for beginners. She also thoughtfully helped us take instant photos and recorded videos and captured beautiful shots with a GoPro, leaving us with wonderful keepsakes. The overall design of the hotel is gorgeous, and the night views are particularly photogenic. The grounds feel like a huge park, with lush greenery and rockeries creating a wonderful ambiance. With a full range of recreational facilities like scuba diving, surfing, jet skis, rock climbing, a skateboard bowl, and a pump track, there's something for everyone, whether you're looking for thrills or relaxation. Even the kids had an amazing time. It's truly a top choice for a vacation!

First of all, the front desk walked in and put a table. There were debris piled up behind the front desk chair. There was no star hotel at all. The layout of the room was also inconsistent with the official picture. After asking, I found that the picture of the suite was used. The actual stay did not have such a room type. The room card has been invalidated twice in three days. The decoration of the room also needs to be improved. The water pipes are all exposed. There is no anti-collision strip on the edges of the bubble pool. The room smells also. The air purifier is not effective. Because the room smelled heavy, I opened the window for a while, and the bed was full of small bugs at night, saying that there were many bugs near the river. Sound insulation is not good, the sound of the next room, the sound of the table and chairs upstairs at breakfast time is very noisy, and the breakfast time is also prematurely ended. The front desk said that 7:30 to 9:00, and you have to hurry up for early dinner during the New Year. There are very few types of breakfast, and there is nothing to go near the time. Overall, the hotel is in a good location, on the edge of the Rainbow Bridge, the environment is good and the river view is beautiful. Other hotel facilities and services need to be improved.
