"Immediately Upon arrival the staff we're very welcoming and the hospitality felt genuine. There were complimentary snacks in the foyeur for the Qingming festival which kept the little one entertained whilst we dealt with a very swift check-in, The room was facing the river and immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. When we went swimming our daughter didn't have goggles to wear and was gratefully lent a set by the staff there. The Food was really great and our waitress Cindy helped us with every request we had for breakfast and on the second day, because we had to leave early, the front desk lady Alice also assisted us by preparing a take-away meal. The fact that the hotel opens into a very modern shopping center made sure that We throughly enjoyed our Stay and we highly recommend anyone else to stay."

"I was very satisfied with my overall stay. The price was quite reasonable for the summer. The hotel is located in a valley with a great ecological environment. I could even hear frogs croaking at night when I opened the window. The room was very clean, and the bathroom had separate wet and dry areas. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and greeted everyone they met in the hallway. The housekeeper's service was very responsive. The gym was a bit basic, and I recommend upgrading. The breakfast the next day was quite rich, with many Jiande specialties."

"The hotel's location is superb, right by the central lake, making it very convenient for getting to the ferry terminal ⛵️. As a high-end resort under the Huazhu Group, it lives up to its reputation for excellence. I requested a room with a view when booking, and they thoughtfully arranged one with a partial lake view. Very considerate. The hotel is quiet and has a great ambiance. There's an outdoor swimming pool in summer, which the kids loved. The breakfast spread is also extensive. It's a fantastic place to stay when visiting Qiandao Lake."

"Traveling with family, I booked one standard room and one king room, on different floors. Both were originally balcony rooms, but the front desk said they upgraded us. However, the standard room was changed to one without a balcony, only adding a bathtub, and it was still on a different floor. I felt it wasn't worth the change. The king room with a balcony had a great view, where you could see the beautiful scenery of Qiandao Lake. The hotel breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the staff were very friendly. Our butler, Zhang, was also very enthusiastic and responsive to our needs. I would recommend this hotel to my friends!"

"The most notable feature is that it's a guesthouse converted from a former temple dedicated to the God of Wealth, located right in the heart of the ancient city, about 200 meters from attractions like the city wall, Xin'an River Greenway, and Xiaoxi Lake. Opposite the hotel is the Yanzhou Ancient City Exhibition Hall, connected to a postal exhibition; the space isn't large, but it's quite well-designed. The room facilities are relatively new, but the windows are small, resulting in slightly poor lighting. Although the bustling Yanzhou Ancient City is right outside, the room is relatively quiet and not noisy. During the Spring Festival, the hotel doesn't provide breakfast; you can only eat steamed buns nearby, and milk has to be purchased from another guesthouse. The biggest problem is that traffic control measures are in place on some sections of the ancient city during the Spring Festival, making it difficult to get a taxi. Because of this, I almost missed visiting Qili Yangfan on my second day."

At check-out, Sherry at the front desk was incredibly thoughtful and kind, even giving me a souvenir bear. Her service was outstanding."

Not only did they quickly complete the check-in process, but they also proactively informed me of breakfast times, elevator locations, and even helpfully pointed out nearby neighborhoods suitable for strolling, instantly alleviating any unfamiliar surroundings. The staff, especially Karen, smiled throughout, making us feel incredibly friendly. This stay far exceeded my expectations, and I couldn't have done without the dedication of every staff member. "During my trip to Jiangnan, I chose to stay in Meicheng, an ancient town with a thousand-year history, in Jiande. I was surprised to find such a clean, comfortable, convenient, and welcoming hotel in this small town! 😊👍 Service: From the manager to the staff, everyone was warm, honest, and polite. They answered all my questions patiently and offered various forms of assistance, providing information on local attractions and travel suggestions. As a traveler from afar, I truly felt the good hospitality of the people of Meicheng! 😊 Quality: This newly renovated hotel is of excellent quality, with meticulous attention to detail. The large-screen TV 📺, smart toilet, and high-quality hardware are all excellent. The water pressure is strong, heats up quickly, and makes showering especially refreshing. The bedding is also of superb quality, comparable to a high-end hotel 😂. I slept very comfortably 😊 Cleanliness: Although the hotel room is small, it is comfortable and cozy. The store, elevator, and room were all exceptionally clean, making it a place you didn't want to leave 😀. The hotel environment is quiet, conducive to rest. Convenience: The hotel is not far, and the breakfast at ”Several Vegetarian Restaurants” is quite good, with a wide variety and good hygiene. Be sure to try the Meicheng specialty tofu buns! 😍 Yancheng Old Street is about a ten-minute walk away, rich in cultural charm and full of sights. Further afield are Yuquan Temple, Nanfeng Pagoda, and Sandu Fishing Village, all easily accessible by car or taxi. My two days in Meicheng were excellent in every way; I'll definitely come back again!"

AAnna AkWhen we arrived, the exterior did not quite match the pictures online, but once inside, we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was spacious and clean and very well kept. Xiao Jiang and the staff on the front desk were patient and extremely helpful. They were sure to escort me to my room and check in on me to see if I needed anything. The room was lovely. Very comfortable main bed and a stunning view. The shower was modern and spacious, and the projector screen TV was a nice touch. We were given soft drinks and fruit. Which was also a welcome touch. The second bed was quite hard - the mattress wasn't really a mattress, so sleeping was somewhat uncomfortable. Breakfast was delicious and varied. It was mainly Chinese with a few Western choices, too. The pool was a little disappointing. Not quite full and a little dirty, so we didn't go. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
