"Yesterday, we checked into the Lavande Hotel in Jiande. Upon arrival, the two young ladies at the front desk, Ms. Xu and Ms. Wang, warmly greeted us, upgraded our room, and helped with our luggage, making us feel very welcome. The hotel was very clean, and the breakfast was quite good. I will continue to like Lavande Hotels as always."

"The receptionist was very helpful, it was a great experience. Tea was served upon check-in, and she greeted us every time we passed by. She was very welcoming. The room was well-equipped, the bedding was as comfortable as ever, and the room was very clean with no unpleasant odors. The surrounding area was also nice. The receptionist even told us that there would be free porridge for dinner, which was very thoughtful. The breakfast was also excellent!"

"My experience was really bad. I arrived at the hotel around 1 PM on the 2nd, and was told my room wasn't ready and I'd have to wait. They didn't call me until after 3 PM to say I could check in. Throughout this, there was no mention of compensation for the delay beyond the standard check-in time. Only after I threatened to complain to Trip.com did the hotel offer an upgrade to an executive twin room. In the room, there was hair on the headboard and pillows, and the shower leaked, flooding under the sink and into the bathroom. All the towels in the room were wet and couldn't even dry anything, so I had to call the front desk for someone to mop it up. I later found out the shower curb was higher on the inside and lower on the outside, causing the water to flow out – something the hotel admitted was an engineering issue. The next day, I spoke to the front desk, and they offered to change my room. However, the new room had noticeable stains in the sink that hadn't been cleaned, a strange smell in the bathroom, and no lotion provided. Staying at this hotel felt like opening a blind box, never knowing what extra or missing items you'd get. The staff were genuinely nice and apologized immediately when issues arose, but new problems just kept popping up. It really doesn't feel like an international brand hotel."

The guest rooms were clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable beds and excellent soundproofing, ensuring a very restful night's sleep. The bathroom facilities were complete and functional, and the toiletries were of high quality. The staff were warm and attentive, providing efficient check-in and check-out, and responding promptly to any needs. The breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, including both Chinese and Western options, with fresh and delicious ingredients. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, making it a pleasant place to relax and unwind. Whether for family trips or short vacations, this hotel is highly recommended, and I will definitely choose it again next time!"

"Located near the city lake, this resort-style property is built into the hillside. If you're staying in the villas higher up, you'll need to climb a long staircase from the lobby, so it might not be suitable if you have mobility issues. The hotel does offer a shuttle service if you're willing to wait. The road up to the mountain is very narrow, making it difficult for two cars to pass, so if you're not a confident driver, it's best to take the shuttle. Parking at the top is also limited. Overall, understand that this is a resort, and from a resort perspective, it deserves a five-star rating."

"The room itself is pretty good, with decor that's exactly my style, and a great view of the river from the window. However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. When I first checked in, I noticed the trash can hadn't been emptied, which was probably just an oversight. Also, there's no indoor heated pool, which was a shame since I specifically brought my swimsuit."

"The rooms on the lower floors of this hotel were not ideal in terms of facilities and cleanliness. There were quite a few small flying insects, the shower water pressure was low, and the drains were clogged, causing water to overflow outside the shower. The overall accommodation experience was poor; there wasn't even a place to put my luggage. I went there because of its five-star rating on Ctrip, but the actual experience did not meet the five-star standard and was even somewhat disappointing. Moreover, the breakfast restaurant was very small, and when it got crowded, there was nowhere to sit. The restaurant management was chaotic, the variety was limited, and the staff couldn't keep up with cleaning, making the entire counter look like a mess. My impression was already not good, but then something outrageous happened. Since we were driving, I wanted to bring a cup of coffee to drink on the road to stay awake. When I went to make coffee with my own cup, an auntie said that if I brought my own cup, the owner would scold me, and it would cost 15 yuan a cup. I was stunned. My family has stayed in quite a few hotels while traveling over the years, and this was the first time I had encountered such a request. Moreover, I looked around and couldn't find any sign indicating this charge anywhere. I was speechless. In summary, the overall experience was unsatisfactory. It is recommended that the hotel management strengthen training for their staff and make appropriate adjustments and upgrades to the hotel's facilities in order to meet the five-diamond rating."

"The hotel is built on a small hill beside the Shouchang River, in a very beautiful environment. You can see the river from the rooms. The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, and each room has a large balcony with a view. The hotel is divided into three separate areas, with rooms located in individual small buildings. It's very quiet at night. The breakfast is also plentiful. The hotel provides a shuttle bus service by reservation. I was very satisfied with my two-day stay during the Spring Festival! I'll definitely come again."

"The room was spacious and equipped with excellent smart amenities. I could see the river view right from the window when I opened the curtains. The hotel staff were very helpful; they proactively arranged for my two booked rooms to be next to each other. Once, I forgot to get a parking voucher when I went out for breakfast and was overcharged for parking, but they later helped me get a refund. Overall, I'm very satisfied."

"There is very little parking at the hotel. Because it was the National Day holiday and there was a wedding banquet, we checked in in the afternoon and barely parked the car at nearly 21 o'clock in the evening. The entire hotel is surrounded by roads, the indoor facilities are old and smelly, and the windows are poorly soundproofed. If you don't sleep well, be careful! When I woke up in the morning, I found multiple red spots on my body, which were very itchy. There must be something wrong with the mattress! After checking out and driving out of the hotel, I encountered a long queue of wedding cars. It was obvious that the hotel management was lacking and the experience was very bad!"

"This is my second time staying at your hotel. The scorching summer is the best time to go to Jiande where the temperature is 17°C for a summer vacation. The booked room is right next to the river, and you can see the clear Xin'an River flowing slowly from the room. Sitting in the room and drinking tea, you can watch the beautiful mountains and clear waters, the rolling clouds and the relaxing clouds, which is very pleasant. The room design is full of Jiangnan charm, spacious and bright. The service in the hotel is very pleasant. Fresh fruits are delivered every day. The waiters are always smiling when I see them. Especially the sister He Yuanyuan at the front desk is warm and kind. The service is attentive and meticulous. It makes me feel like I am at home. The hotel is in a good location, and it is also very convenient to go to the riverside to enjoy the cool weather. There are many delicious little restaurants nearby. If you go there, be sure to order the Jiande-style fish head stew in white soup. The hotel has a lot of free parking spaces, suitable for self-driving travel. A very nice and quiet vacation experience."

"This is my second time at the Brette Hotel. This time, I contacted our butler, Xiao Zhang, in advance, and their arrangements were absolutely spot on. We got a lake-view room, which offered an amazing view. The one-bedroom, one-living room lake-view suite is perfect for families. The hotel room facilities are all comprehensive, and the room's scenery is beautiful. We were lucky enough that both the outdoor and indoor pools were open, and the kids had a blast. We also caught some activities for Children's Day on June 1st, which made the experience even more fantastic! The hotel's breakfast is buffet style and served until 10 AM, which is very thoughtful and convenient. The breakfast was also delicious. I will definitely be back to Brette again; it's perfect for a getaway and escaping the city. I highly recommend it! My last review was 5 stars, I don't know how it ended up as 4.8. It absolutely deserves a five-star rating!!!"
