Looking at Shan Mei Yard. is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Jiande. The hotel offers easy access to Jiande Railway Station, just 10km away. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including Meicheng Ancient Town, Kaiyuan Buddhist Temple and West Lake Park. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. If you demand a high level of service, our guests have indicated that this hotel has excellent standards. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.
"The most notable feature is that it's a guesthouse converted from a former temple dedicated to the God of Wealth, located right in the heart of the ancient city, about 200 meters from attractions like the city wall, Xin'an River Greenway, and Xiaoxi Lake. Opposite the hotel is the Yanzhou Ancient City Exhibition Hall, connected to a postal exhibition; the space isn't large, but it's quite well-designed. The room facilities are relatively new, but the windows are small, resulting in slightly poor lighting. Although the bustling Yanzhou Ancient City is right outside, the room is relatively quiet and not noisy. During the Spring Festival, the hotel doesn't provide breakfast; you can only eat steamed buns nearby, and milk has to be purchased from another guesthouse. The biggest problem is that traffic control measures are in place on some sections of the ancient city during the Spring Festival, making it difficult to get a taxi. Because of this, I almost missed visiting Qili Yangfan on my second day."

Facilities: It's a separate courtyard, the rooms are very clean and fully equipped. There's a large window facing the river, and the room also has a sound system, making it very comfortable to listen to music and relax. The weather was a bit chilly these past two days, so I didn't spend much time outdoors. Summer evenings would definitely be perfect for sitting in the courtyard. The owner said the guesthouse has been open for five years, and judging from the condition of the facilities, it must be well-maintained. The only drawback is that the door isn't very airtight, letting in a little draft and making it slightly chilly, but it's not a big problem with the air conditioning on.
Service: The owner came down to greet me upon arrival and gave a brief introduction to the river view in front of the room. The breakfast on the second day was also plentiful and could be delivered to the room to eat by the window. I didn't take many pictures, but it included porridge, tofu buns, sweet potato, corn, fermented bean curd, etc. In the evening, when it was difficult to get a taxi to the area near the ancient town, the owner even drove me there. They also thoughtfully provided directions for our trip to Wulong Mountain the next day.
Environment: The river embankment in front is perfect for a walk with beautiful scenery. There's also a delicious mochi shop nearby.

KKhuan ChoongA very good homestay away from the crowds yet near to railway station. .Rooms very spacious and with excellent pillows for a sound sleep. The homestay owners are really great. The husband took us to a place for breakfast . The wife is so kind and accommodating, considerate. After seeing our empty water bottles , she put extra bottles in the room. After our trip she would put the Aircon and lights on before we are back. Fruits and coffee available at the 3rd floor. What more can we say. If I can give marks for this homestay we will give more than the actual marks as they have done beyond our expectations. I will give 20/10 . Great and unforgetable stay indeed. I will surely recommend my friends to come and stay here for an unforgetable experience

GGuest UserEscaping the hustle and bustle of the city, my husband and I chose this courtyard guesthouse for our night's stay. We had spent the afternoon exploring Jiande city and didn't arrive until after 10 PM. The guesthouse staff were incredibly welcoming, greeting us warmly at the door and quickly checking us in. We were too tired to properly appreciate the scenery the night before, and waking up to this place was exactly the kind of life I've always dreamed of. The restaurant was unique, the ambiance was fantastic, and the guesthouse staff's breakfast was delicious! The service was attentive and warm. If I ever need to escape the city again, I'll definitely choose this place again. Personally, I think it was absolutely wonderful! 👍

We had an amazing stay at this charming cabin! The host and their family were incredibly accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They were sweet and welcoming, and it genuinely felt like we were staying with friends we’ve known for years.
The cabin itself was clean, new, and beautifully maintained. Our son had a wonderful time playing with their son, which added to the friendly atmosphere. The family also provided great recommendations for things to do around town, enhancing our experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food, which was wonderfully organic and sourced from their garden. The only minor note was that the swimming pool was a bit cold, but we totally understand that it was the first swim of the season!
Overall, we loved our stay and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a welcoming getaway!

GGuest UserA friend recommended this B&B and said it was very good. My kids were about to start school, so I brought them here to play. After we booked the room, the B&B kindly sent us a detailed check-in guide, a guide to the surrounding areas, and local food recommendations. Because we were traveling with kids, they were also very considerate and provided us with slippers and toothbrushes for the kids. When we encountered any problems, the messages were replied immediately. In the evening, we went to the barbecue restaurant recommended by the B&B for a midnight snack. There were many dishes. It was very pleasant to eat barbecue with my family by the river while enjoying the evening breeze. The next morning, I woke up and opened the curtains. The unbeatable river view was right in front of me, and my mood instantly brightened. The B&B also has bicycles to ride. After breakfast in the morning, I took a stroll around the river. I felt refreshed. Before leaving, the store manager gave us souvenirs and a lacquer fan-making experience. The kids had a lot of fun. I will definitely come again next time!

The hotels has 2 restaurants and neither of them serves food all day. There is no restaurant nearby. So if you arrive hungry then you stay hungry. The TV in the room has terrible sound, as If TV speakers are removed on purpose. The rooms don't have sound insulation may be that's why TV's speakers have been removed.

MMLFooThe room is very big and very clean. We had dinner and breakfast at their in-house restaurant (遇见餐厅）, both are excellent. We love the food and the spacious restaurant. The boss is very enthusiastic and very helpful. The environment is also very quiet, we slept really well. It’s a 5 min walk to 大慈岩Daciyan scenic area. We got free tickets for our stay. Thank you for the wonderful service 😊

HHoutianyuanyuanThe hotel's setting is absolutely stunning! Nestled by mountains and water, it's surrounded by lush greenery with fresh, clean air. The scenery is so beautiful it feels like a hidden paradise, and every photo you take turns out perfectly.
The kids absolutely loved feeding the animals at the farm – it was so much fun! The lambs and bunnies were super gentle, and my child was completely engrossed in feeding them, screaming with joy the whole time. There's also a clear stream nearby where we enjoyed playing and wading in the water, really soaking in that connection with nature. And the infinity pool was a hit; the little ones didn't want to get out!
Overall, the facilities are clean and comfortable, and the service is very thoughtful. It's a fantastic experience for families, perfect for entertaining the kids while also relaxing for the adults. I highly recommend it for families with children, and we'll definitely be back!

AAnna AkWhen we arrived, the exterior did not quite match the pictures online, but once inside, we were pleasantly surprised.
The hotel was spacious and clean and very well kept.
Xiao Jiang and the staff on the front desk were patient and extremely helpful. They were sure to escort me to my room and check in on me to see if I needed anything.
The room was lovely. Very comfortable main bed and a stunning view. The shower was modern and spacious, and the projector screen TV was a nice touch.
We were given soft drinks and fruit. Which was also a welcome touch.
The second bed was quite hard - the mattress wasn't really a mattress, so sleeping was somewhat uncomfortable.
Breakfast was delicious and varied. It was mainly Chinese with a few Western choices, too.
The pool was a little disappointing. Not quite full and a little dirty, so we didn't go.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
