I do not normally advise others to completely avoid a hotel, but in this instance I do. I was disgusted by the quality of the product and standard of customer service at Motel One Stuttgart-Mitte. To begin, my welcome to the hotel was a tea and coffee machine roped off and taped up (pics attached). What a horrible way to, in the first moment of arrival, make your ‘guests’ feel unwelcome and disrespected. It is common practice at hotels all around the world to offer tea and coffee facilities in the room. If not offered in the guest rooms, hotels/hostels/motels etc offer these facilities in the common areas of the hotel (Hub by Premier Inn for instance). When I asked about this upon check in I was informed “you can pay” and collect tea from the bar. Whilst styling itself as a ‘budget hotel’ this accomodation cost over €80 per night, for that price I expect tea and coffee to be included…..as it is at a €30 hostel down the road. How dare you price gouge your guests in this manner. I asked to speak to the hotel manager (who it later turned out was not the hotel manager as he was apparently in Frankfurt). She reiterated that accessing the tea and coffee machine was “not allowed” however I may request boiling water from the bar….I accepted this solution. That night I requested a cup of boiling water and was met with a strange look and questions, I was forced to explain that the hotel manager said I could have boiling water. As I waited I got a tea bag from the tea/coffee station which was met with absolute horror by the reception staff who berated me and told me off for taking the tea bag. So as it turned out I was allowed boiling water but not a tea bag….how petty can you be? What an appalling way to treat ‘guests.’ I would have been happy to pay the 5-10 cents for the tea bag as it appears motel one count every last cent. Not to worry I had a spare tea bag in my bag….that’s an extra 10 cents for the motel one brand. Another example of the complete disregard and disrespect shown to the needs of their guests can be seen through their refusal to turn the air conditioning on!!!!! As has been remarked on by other guests on this forum. It is summer in Germany, the 2 days of my stay were above 25 and with the sun glaring in the room the room itself was above 35, as such, I had 2 wrestles, sleepless nights which affected my time in this wonderful city. When I asked about the air conditioning it was made clear that it WOULD NOT be turned on. I asked what I should do, I was told to open the window. Open the window to music, partying, car noise, car horns, airplanes, trains….and worst of all the construction work by the hotel itself….the hotel I am PAYING to stay in!!….all of which can be heard throughout the day and night. At this point I realised that all motel one care about is how much money they can make out of each guest….why pay for the electricity of the air conditioning system when the guests can have an uncomfortable and disruptive sleep….the comf

It's a nice hotel, located behind the main station, about 10 minutes by walk from the station to the hotel, but the hotel is not close to the King street.
The breakfast is good, especially supplied the whole cooked Salmon everyday, that's great.

We had preciously stayed at the Aloft in Munich, and were impressed enough to choose the Aloft chain again for a recent short visit to Stuttgart. We were not disappointed. The hotel is conveniently located a few steps from the UBahn (one stop from the Hauptbahnhof and a couple of stops away from the main centre) and is part of a new shopping complex with a range of stores and eating outlets. Facilities are modern, clean and well appointed, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. We were especially impressed with the helpfulness of the reception staff, all of whom went out of their way to look after our needs. One of our party was without vital medication, and hotel reception took the trouble both to identify the best local medical centre to obtain a prescription and to give detailed directions for finding it. We would certainly stay here again for future visits to the city.

It was the most traumatizing stay I ever had! The receptionst lied to me about being able to stay the next day even it was booked out on booking. She said they still have rooms and it’s still enough time to pay the next stay. I trusted her words! At 11 am when I was still asleep suddenly the housekeeping aggressively knocked on my door even the don’t disturb sign were out. They yelled in front of my door telling me I have to leave immediately!! I quickly put on some Clothes and told them that I already extended my stay. Of course I thought this incompetent receptionist blocked my room when she guaranteed me my room for the next day?! But instead those cleaners said it’s not possible to stay bc they are fully booked!! I first still thought it must be a misunderstanding, telling them what the receptionist told me the other day. She than even showed up herself. But instead of being apologetic she showed a total different face and even threatened me in an bossy tone that I have to leave by 12 pm which were in 40 min (!!) otherwise they would call the police!! 😳🤷♀️ I was SO shocked and disappointed but her super f*ed up behavior. I already extended the room on booking for another five nights (!!) bc she were so nice before! Everything were paid in advance!! I felt so fooled & trapped. I got only 40 min left to shower, dye my hair and to pack all my stuff!! When I just got out the shower like 20 min later and still in time (!) it started knocking on my door again. I was like wth 🤦♀️ When I opened the door in a towel, I couldn’t believe my eyes : IT WAS THE POLICE! like why? for what reason?? I totally didn’t get it! I was the one who got crazily trapped and degraded as never before and they are doing this to me? like why?? I calmly explained the officers what happened and Im pretty sure they themselves were thinking like what the hell are we even doing here.. I also told them that, of course I won’t return after everything what just happened and that I except to get a refund. The receptionist agreed. I promised to be out at 12 if they would let me go now to keep packing. The police left. I was never as stressed as I was in that moment! I even offered the staff some chocolate the day before..I really couldn’t believe this all just happened.. Bc I was rushing everything like crazy, I didn’t pack things properly as I normally do, so it was a challenge to close my suitcase. When it turned 12 p I was panicking like never before! I couldn’t close my suitcase.. It turned 1 after 12 and the terror immediately started again, knocking on my door/ yelling.. I just kept focusing on my suitcase. At 2 after 12 I finally got it. I went down to the front desk and were expecting my invoice and the refund as discussed before with the police. BUT, the same narc receptionist suddenly acted like she never told me so and refused to give me my money back. They obviously tried EVERYTHING to provoke and punish me for .. what exactly..? 🤷♀️ I asked for the manager. He called

We really enjoy our stay at Hotel Azenberg. The location was perfect for us as we could walk to the city center (15-20mn walk). And the staff was great, always there when needed. They even went the extra miles and called a museum where we forgot some of our belongings and made sure we could collect them back although it was a bank holiday.

The hotel is located on the edge of a residential area on a driven street. It is located part of a larger business house. Personal is very friendly. Breakfast is very good, the room is clean and attractively furnished. Unfortunately, there are only hangs and no gardens so that early morning sunlight is only when one of the ~6m remote office workers in the same building can look into the room. The sound isolation of the walls is good, the room door unfortunately leaves quite a lot through. Bad when it uses from 6 incisive clips in the morning. Summary: Please for early business travelers.
Enjoy a restful night in the peaceful setting of the Mercure Hotel Stuttgart Zuffenhausen, a cozy atmosphere and a sumptuous buffet breakfast with everything you could need. Our hotel offers a high level of comfort and good transport links to the city cen ter and the main train station. The Porsche Museum and Porsche AG are just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel has an impressive industrial look, which you will also see in some of the details throughout the hotel.
GGuest User2023.01.31
The hotel has had some recent renovations but unfortunately they used direct stick carpet which made the floor very hard. It's fairly close to everything, local train will take you into the town center, approximately 15 minutes. The room was a reasonable size and the bed comfortable. Bathroom was OK but the shower was small. It was unusual to find that the bar and restaurant were both closed . However, close by there is a supermarket where you can buy just about anything. There are also many local restaurants withing walking distance. The gentleman on the afternoon shift was extremely helpful with directions and suggestions. Another positive note, is that the hotel is walking distance to the Porsche Museum, which is a must see.
Thank you for choosing our Vienna House Easy by Wyndham Stuttgart hotel.

They have been here occasionally in recent years. Under new name has not changed so much. The reservation works perfectly as always. If no major events are taking place in the area, cheap prices and offers are available. The car route to the deep garage is good, but then you need to find the right outlet in the huge deep garage of the shopping centre. The hotel is not central in Stuttgart, but in the foretown, the connection with the S-Bahn (5-10 min walking distance) is also good in the evening. Reception and check-in quickly, polite, uncomplicated. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, and functional, but no luxury. Some rooms on the main street can be quite loud at open windows. On the other hand, you can sleep very quiet. In summer it can also warm in the rooms depending on location and sunlight. The breakfast buffet was always very good, at the moment the choice is significantly restricted by the health situation, but the quality is still acceptable. Whoever is aware of the situation, for whom stay here is worth its price.

This place is perfect—the staff operates as one team, and they are unfailingly professional and friendly. Everyone who works there is kind, helpful, and efficient. I came in after having traveled several hours, and was greeted warmly. I was in my room very quickly. The room itself was spacious and well-laid out—plenty of closet space for weeks’ worth of business clothing and the floor plan gave me space to feel comfortable. It was very quiet and I felt very secure. I used IHG rewards for the breakfast amenity, and so glad I did! The offerings were great (I have dietary restrictions,) and the staff was truly beyond compare. Heated cup stands next to the coffee makers are examples of the details that made it all so pleasant. The location adjacent to the train stop was wonderful for heading into downtown, and even during the train strike, the buses made it fairly easy to get where I wanted to go when I didn’t feel like driving. The adjacent parking structure was great, too—warm, dry, and secure. I find myself hoping to go back to Stuttgart so I can visit the Holiday Inn again!

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is excellent, the hotel is neat and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful at all times and the breakfast was excellent.
But:
When charging the electric car, a blocking fee is charged, which was not mentioned anywhere. In addition, the hotel charges a parking space fee. This does not meet my expectations of fairness and transparency.
TThomas KNice modern hotel even if it’s one of these hotels with no face to remember. Neighborhood with Milano shopping mall is during the day worth a visit otherwise it’s an dead end and you have to take the public transport to find some decent place in the City. This isn’t complicated because one step from the hotel to the platform makes it easy to come and go. Comfortable bed and room size ok, nice bar on the top.
GGuest UserNot bad, the price is higher than the price.
The waiters at the front desk were good in English and the service was warm.
You can also order fast food.
The traffic is also convenient, opposite the train station.
The hotel has its own parking.
Alles in Allem: furchtbarer Aufenthalt! Dringend davon abgeraten!!!
GGuest UserMy daughter is based in the Army in Stuttgart, so I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. I have to say that except for one young woman, the Reception staff was the most inhospitable that I have ever encountered. It started with my arrival. I had a confirmed reservation, had checked in on line, and had informed the hotel that I would be arriving late. When I arrived, the reception clerk spent 10 minutes working on the computer and mumbling something before finally informing me that they had no room for me. They did offer to send me to another hotel and then I could either move back to the Pullman or stay at the other hotel. Of course, I had no idea how close this hotel was or any other information. I insisted that there must be a room there -- and they finally said that there was a suite available for one night and that I would have to move the following morning (which I did). Through all of this, there were no apologies for the inconvenience nor any offered compensation for the inconvenience of having to change rooms. They acted like I was being unreasonable for insisting on a room. During my stay, if I needed anything from the front desk, I frequently had to wait while they finished not one -- but several tasks and took a new phone call while I waited. Not once did I see a smile on anyone's face. I was not alone in receiving this treatment -- and noticed that other customers were treated equally as rudely. The room was comfortable, although the carpet always looked dirty. The housecleaning was undependable -- some days they came and some days they did not. I have stayed in other Pullman hotels, and this one did not meet the standards of the chain for cleanliness, and custome service.
GGuest UserExcellent service and beautiful rooms provided a pleasant stay. The friendliness of the staff and clean facilities were impressive, and the location was convenient for transportation, and there were many shops and restaurants nearby, so I was able to enjoy a comfortable trip. I will choose this hotel again next time. I recommend it!
GGuest UserWe spent two nights in this hotel in one of the suburbs/villages of Stuttgart. The hotel is fairly easy to reach by public transport (U- or S-bahn) and a short (5min) walk and is located in a quiet office area. After having checked in, we were given a room but when we arrived at the room the bathroom was full of dirty towels, so we went back to reception and were given another room. This second room was clean from the inside, but its balcony was dirty, including a dirty ashtray. In fact, we would prefer to not have any ashtrays at all, also not on balconies (as smoke from one balcony can still easily blow into a neighbouring room). After some time, our balcony was cleaned though. The room itself was spacious and the bathroom was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and the airco worked well without making too much noise. Staff were friendly and helpful, but at times it felt like the hotel was understaffed (for example reception was often not staffed, also during the day). We also had breakfast at the hotel, which was okay with a reasonable selection of foods and drinks. It would have been nice if there had been a bit more choice of food and drink items, including some more local specialties. A nice gesture was that all guests received complimentary ice-creams upon check-in.
GGuest UserWe referred to this hotel as our 'cruise ship' experience. The room was about the same size as an inside room on a cruise ship, and when you walked out of the hotel in the morning, you were right in the middle of the action! The location can't be beat- you are literally right at the train station for Boblingen. On the other side of the train station is the main plaza area with lots of shops and a mall. The mall is 3 stories and has a grocery store in the bottom as well as several restaurants. One block in the other direction is MotorWorld. There is a nice park on the other side of MotorWorld with a great playground for kids. On the weekend, the park also had an amusement park with a huge ferris wheel. The hotel itself is very no frills. We had the family room which had bunk beds for the kids and a double size bed for the adults. There wasn't much room to walk around and we bumped into each other when we were trying to get ready to go anywhere. The TV didn't have any channels in English that worked. All in all, this was a functional hotel room and met our needs. But, it definitely didn't have any frills. In addition to a cruise ship room, it could also be compared to a Motel 6 in the US. Parking was 8 Euros a day (even if your reservation said it was complimentary!) and the parking lot was easy to navigate.
GGuest UserReception person was nice enough. Spoke to the ”Chef” a day or so prior to check-in - requested and was given a front facing, lower floor room. Upon check-in given a 3rd room floor with NO couch (where the couch should be) and no chair. Back to reception; given a 5th floor room with SAME result; back to reception. Given a 6th floor room which at least had a chair where the couch should have been - I'll stay here buuuuut mini fridge inop as was the Thermostat. Bathroom water pressure was dismal with no condiments; good I always bring my own. BTW exiting the elevator on the 6th floor: lights were out in the hallway and as I always check the stairway, also dark, told reception who called maintenance who solved the problem.
なならはるさんThe location was good at a hotel near the Porsche Museum .
In addition, since it becomes a loose uphill from the station, there is a slightly severe scene if there is a large luggage.
There are not many shops around the station (Porsche factory area), but next to the hotel there are McDonald's, restaurants, karaoke OK pubs, and kebab shops, so I didn't have any trouble until night.
(I was very helpful with the water procurement of ice, iced beverages and PET bottles in MacDonald when I came back on the night road)
Also, the Italian restaurant next to the hotel was good at Cospa.
The hotel key was an old-fashioned key method, but it was a high security meaning that it needed a lot of knacks to open it (laughs).
Also, although the room had no air conditioning, it was equipped with a fan and was useful for drying hand-washed clothes.
