Hotels Near Laiyifen (canglangdonghuanlu) in Suzhou

The room is very clean, the facilities are complete, the sanitation is very clean, the environment is very good, just next to the old city, the subway and bus are very convenient, the hotel service is very good, and the breakfast is very rich!

The house is relatively small and is an older type of house. The sanitary services are quite good and the location is also good. It is close to the viaduct and there are snack bars around. There is a sufficient supply of oranges downstairs.

I really liked to stay at Hampton by Hilton hotel in Suzhou. The facilities, equipment and environment in particular are excellent. The breakfast is included, big choice of food. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. There are a lot of Chinese guests at the hotel. But as a foreigner, I would like to add that it is easy to stay here for foreign guests as well, because the stuff of the hotel try to help with all the issues and it becomes really comfortable to live at the hotel. I would like to thank in particular the administrative person, Melody, for her kind help to me as a guest of the hotel with administrative registration. Also, the room is very clean, the view from the window very beautiful, can see the river and the center of Suzhou, the hotel room is beautiful and comfortable, also here is a comfortable table and chair for working on computer if needed. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and highly recommend it to other guests.

We had an excellent stay. I decided to treat my parents to a hotel for their visit to Suzhou and this one did not disappoint. We had a wonderful stay. We slept amazing in our beds from our long day of site seeing because the hotel is located really well to a lot of must see places in Suzhou. Breakfast was splendid and a wonderful variety of foods to eat, all of which is very tasty. Hotel staff is so friendly and helpful. We only speak English and they tried their very best to communicate in English and answer our questions we had to make sure we were visiting the right places in the city. I will definitely be coming again to this hotel and my parents will be here again next time they visit.

Environment: The book-themed hotel is indeed quite artistic. There are many small facilities to play in the lobby (Go, water writing posts, etc.), and there are three books in each room. There are also various landscape paintings on the glass door of the shower room. Service: The service is very friendly. The front desk guy who arrived quite late at night was also soft-spoken and comfortable. When leaving, he also took the initiative to ask if I wanted to take a few bottles of water. Facilities: The toilet in the bathroom is a smart toilet. The shower and the toilet are not separated by a curtain. Environment: The shower head is indeed a bit dirty. It is a bit patina, a bit disgusting, and there are unknown small insects flying. I brought my own hair dryer, the kind with strong wind. When I blew my hair, I blew down the dust that was not cleaned in some corner of the room. It fell and stuck to my arm, emmmm

Everything went good, the place was clean and comfortable, very close to the center, we had a nice stay!

If you’re looking for a perfect 4 star venue in the city centre then look no further! This place is a good bargain all round the year and even in peak seasons. I am going to split my review into sections so bare with me. 1) Rooms: The outdated the rooms need a serious paint jobs and the couch is quite “scratchy” material wise. Despite the interior eye sore, the flats are quite cosy with everything you need. Scenery wise , those who aren’t afraid of heights request the balcony rooms ! Maybe they don’t have the views of the shanghai centre shopping mall but the evening breeze did put me to sleep like a baby! Also the television was well packed with nostalgic movies , I really enjoyed the entertainment. Although the TV volume doesn’t go too loud , I guess it’s good respect to the neighbors some of who are long term tenants. 2) Service: Impeccable. The people here, although clearly overworked are so nice! The housekeepers are all so wonderful ! They were the ones who let me come back to a clean flat everyday , really it was a piece of home with a whole lot of help! For shampoos and conditioners and shower gel you would need to let the front desk know you need it, so please keep that in mind! 3) Breakfast: Just enough for survival , I’m quite particular about my tastes in food where the buffet options were too less and unfortunately not too tasty. But I was able to survive…I really hope they can fix this though cause the place although cheaper than others isn’t exactly cheap as well. If you want a good breakfast spread , you will be left heavily disappointed. There’s a lot of cost cutting the hotel group has done and it’s obvious…I hope Ascott takes this into consideration cause it’s not good to have better hotels around the world but keep smaller cities forgotten and tightly budgeted!! Suzhou is quite expensive than other cities due to the constant influx of tourists. I don’t usually write much for my reviews but In this case I seem to care after seeing the overworked hotel staff and the poor conditions around them. Come on Ascott do better. I initially was tempted to give a 3/5 review stars but it’s the people that pushed it up.

The room was nice and big but they didn’t provide me with bath towels on the first night just hand towels. The wall has few scratches and marks and the window was really difficult to close. A fine hotel, nothing special.

It is well-located and has a nice infrastructure, but it looks like they are not taking care of the details anymore, so the door of the bathroom didn't work, the kitchen started getting rusty, and the bathroom walls look like they're dirty. Has potential but needs more love.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness and tidiness of the rooms, the hotel is new and very fashionable, the breakfast is really very tasty and varied, the staff is very friendly, we will come again, we liked it very much 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😍
