Of course it is superb. It has hosted many foreign leaders and its elevator can accommodate 30 Marble nis used in the bathroom and it's large balcony offers a great view of the city. The location was carefully chosen on a hill but the hotel has complimentary shuttle be to the closest subway station. Their staff are extremely professional and helpful!

The hotel staffs were all friendly and reminded us to check out at 11am. No housekeeping given but can request if you need it. Booked 2 rooms and hotel had fulfilled my requests. 5 mins to Shuanglian MRT. 2 stations away from Taipei Main Station... 7-11 & family mart just beside hotel...A nice breakfast place behind the hotel. Rooms we stayed not suitable for OCD. Found some dust on top of the kettle. Carpets were very old. Luckily hotel provide disposable slippers. Light sleepers will have issue cos Hotel is near hospital. Often can hear ambulance passing by. Rooms are the same as per hotel photos (Old pic). Bed are hard but still ok for me.

I’ve been wanting to stay at this hotel for a long time and I finally had the chance during my trip to Taiwan. The hotel is convenient located near the Taipei Main Station and bus station and the MRT station. Hence is extremely convenient to get around. The room I got was quite spacious and clean. I believe it has been refurbished as the interior looks new. It is equipped with a smart tv so I could stream videos on YouTube all day long. The only disappoin**ent was that I did not get the room with the view of the Taipei Main station. The hotel staff were very friendly too. Amenities wise, there is no shortage of f&b establishments located near the hotel and most of them are very good. This hotel is one of the more affordable 5 star hotels in this area. Hence it’s a no brainer to pick this hotel over the rest. Overall, I’ve had a pleasant stay here I will definitely return to this hotel for my future trips.

A clean and well-equipped hotel in ximending. Close to the metro and bus lines as well as the train station. Lots of shopping and places for food at walking distance. The room was spacious and clean. Some street noises can be heard, even on the 8 floor but this didn't bother us. Very well maintained place. There is no breakfast available.

The cleanliness of the hotel room is such a disappointment. The bathroom wall grouting & silicon was moldy, and spider webs were in the room. The TV and aircon vent were super dusty. The aircon, even off, was extremely cold. The overall cleanliness is terrible, with noticeable dust accumulating in several areas. It was disappointing and not up to the hygiene standards one would expect from a hotel room. To make matters worse, the cleanliness issues persisted even after the room was supposedly cleaned. The bathroom grouting remained moldy, spider webs lingered, and the attendant neglected to vacuum away the hairs on the floor. The bed has insects, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. This consistent neglect of hygiene standards throughout my stay was disappointing and unacceptable. This lack of attention to detail further emphasized the subpar cleanliness standards, contributing to an unsatisfactory stay.

Hotel location is convenient as it's only walking distance from Ximen's shopping district and MRT. Lots of shops and and restaurants around so you will never run out of options. The receptionist was accommodating with all our inquiries. We loved the fact that we can drink as many coffee and hot chocolate as we want from the drink machine in the lobby. There is a water dispenser as well to refill water. My sister and I had a wonderful stay and there isn't really much to complain about. The decor is quite old fashioned but our room was clean enough which is most important. Overall, we are satisfied. I would recommend to stay here if you are looking for an affordable decent place to stay for a couple of days in Ximen.

Although the hotel is obviously a bit old, but is well maintained, especially how our room is kept cleaned daily, and necessities/toiletries are religiously replenished. The overall staff, especially those assigned in the reception area, are consistently helpful and courteous. The area, although near the busy commercials of Ximending, is peaceful. The breakfast buffet is beyond satisfactory, considering the variety of food selection. I would definitely go back if given the chance in the future, and would recommend the same to others.

GGuest UserFour-star hotels are relatively more expensive than five-star hotels. But the interior decoration of the room is very nice, and my residence has a small balcony where I can bask in the sun, which feels very good. The front desk service is very good, five-star level. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but the quality is good. Overall, this hotel is suitable for travelers traveling alone. In addition, I think the biggest advantage of living here is that there are many high-quality small restaurants nearby, including Korean, Western and Japanese food. If there is a discount for staying for three consecutive days, I think I would be happy to book it every time I come to Taipei.

The price is overrated compare to the added value of the room and service you can get. Unless you really have high budget for hotel stay so that you can afford their suites room in high floor, the room (including its view) is just a so so (compare to its price) The most let down is their breakfast service in Yen. It consistently gave me an unfair table placement during my stay. Fyi, I am a non chinese asian solo traveller. I always come to the breakfast place quite early before 7 AM so that there are so many empty table. The restaurant officer always escort me to sit in small table with almost no view. Everytime i asked why i can't sit in the more better better place, they will answer that the tables are for more than 2 person. Again, i arrived very early in the morning so that almost every tables are empty. First, i tried to be positive, that maybe this restaurant would be very full soon and the officer would consistently place a single person guest like me in the smaller uninteresting position table. I was very dissapointed when they just escorted single or 2 person westerners to the tables with the best view with the capacity for 4 people or even sofa pavillion for 6. They were stayed there alone until their finish their breakfast. So dissapointed with this unfair treatment. Its front desk performance during my check out on june 4th 2023. It's almost 7 and only 1 officer standby. It's a very long waiting time (since i wait there since 06.35 AM). I also cant use the express check out because the express check out box has information that i can only do the express check out if I chose it during the check in (which nobody informed me). So my insight from this trip is: 1. Prepare a high budget so that you can afford their suites. You will experience the real W experience with that kind of room 2. Their breakfast restaurants service not really a best place for solo asian non chinese traveller. It has a great food and good view but yeah not the best service based on my experience

They helped us make reservations at a popular restaurant upon our request and also arranged for a rental car (driver included!) 2. Perfect location- 5 mins walk from Taipei train station exit M5 3. Clean rooms and bathrooms- Tidy upon check in and daily housekeeping was diligently done (look at the spotless bathroom attached) Cons: 1. Not much of a view from window 2. Wifi is not strong in the rooms (Concierge solved this for us by installing a router in our room!)

It is located in the heart of Taipei City which makes going anywhere convenient, range between 15 mins - 30mins by cab. The breakfast are well cooked, just don't expect much variations. The service is really bad among the male employees. They shows an inpatient face & tone when I ask them for wifi password after check-in. And when there's problem in the my room, they expect me to fix it myself instead of sending a technician up. When I ask one of the old man, he quickly say 'No No', and leave. This is very bad. I will not be glad to return.

SsubdueBooked this room at a relatively low rate. However, it’s right at the tail end of the Taipei Main Station underground. Making it a long walk if you’re coming by HSR / TRA or MRT. If you’re coming by Taoyuan MRT then exit 6 is not too far from the hotel. That being said, our flight got delayed and we arrived close to midnight. There were hardly any eateries nearby. The guy who checked us in seems hurried and not that friendly. There was also no proper lobby resting areas and snacks provided, as other TW hotels would have. We got ‘upgraded’ to a room with windows. However the blinds could not be fully closed hence the morning light crept in at dawn making it hard to sleep in. The hotel room had ample space for the two of us and the bonus were the hooks in the room, where we could hang our bags and clothes. The pillows on the other hand, were too soft and there was only one! Bed was average. Not that firm. Air con kept blowing at my face directly which cause my nose to be blocked :/ the walls are also thin. A family was talking loudly at the corridor could be heard while we were trying to get a shut eye. Overall, would not recommend this place as it’s too out of the way.

SSharmaine Arby IliganThe hotel is very clean and the room that we booked for a couple of days was awesome. Staffs were kind and can speak english. They were very helpful and they won't let you wait longer when you arrive at the hotel. Their service was great. Complete toiletries, beautiful room. The bathroom is so spacious with hot and cold shower. There's a glass division, where the shower area is separated to the toilet area. Nice 🛁 and very comfortable. Our bed was so comfy and perfect for a rest after a long day of sightseeing and walking around taipei area. We had a wonderful experience in beauty hotel and definitely will come back again. By the way, the hotel has a nice small lounge and a section where you can make a coffee for free. Plus they also has a water refilling station so you don'tneed to buy water from outside. The location of the hotel is also perfect because it is near to Jiantan train station and surrounded with lots of restaurants, bakery, coffee and tea shop and 7 eleven.
