A good hotel that is well located in Taipei. The ben though the exterior is somewhat dated, the interior is adequate and well kept. Breakfast is pleasant and service attentive. The only word of caution is being given a room that is interior facing and can be somewhat dark in the day time; maybe uncomfortable for those who yearn for natural light.

seems that some hotels forgot that their point is to make a stay enjoyable. I was just happy that my stay was over this hotel. Stayed here a couple years ago and enjoyed that experience a lot more. Now maintenance is clearly needed. Noise from room above and rooms to the side penetrated and prevented a restful night's sleep. Coffee machine broke and was promptly replaced. Telephone was not working properly. Was not replaced. Finicky AC thermostat kept going on and off and the clicking was obnoxious. AC had a slight drip that kept me up the last night. Cleaning schedule starts at 9:00 a.m. and that noise is noticeable and wakes you up early. Elevator is oddly slow to close and arrive. Breakfast is repetitive. Some of the staff is helpful and some of the staff is overwhelmed. No gym or other amenities. At check out nobody even asked how my stay was. The sad thing is there are worse hotels than this one in Taipei.

I chose a room with separate bath. The bath is not a Western-style bath that you can lie in. It’s square shaped and about four feet wide and long. You can sit in it, but you can’t recline in it if this is something you’re looking for. The hotel offers an outstanding breakfast at the Tavernist. Breakfast here is easily more delicious than at more expensive hotels. Even the coffee was great. Breakfast is a la carte rather than buffet but the servings are perhaps even excessively generous. The hotel location is also very good. I wasn’t that familiar with Taipei when I booked but the location turned out to be convenient. It’s a few minutes walk to Zhongxiao Fuxing station, which can take travelers to a few tourist spots, and about a twenty minute walk to Huashan Creative Park. There are Japanese-style department stores with restaurants in the basements and upper floors in addition to local cafes and restaurants.

There are UBike available for rent when you get a Taiwan E-sim and register a UBike account. Cycle from hotel to Metro station only 5 mins. Hotel swimming pool, steam room, sauna room and hot water pool are very well maintained. Friend housekeeping, fitness Centre staff and front desk staff. Especially the female doormen, give clear instructions on how to get to metro stations and nearby eateries. Will stay at this hotel again when I visit Taipei. One last thing, guest room is big that can keep all my three 30 inches luggage’s.

What sets this hotel apart: If you are looking to stay in a quiet neighborhood (instead of a hotel along a busy/noisy street) with a good value/price, great service, and convenient location in Taipei, this hotel is a strong contender. This combination is what sets it apart from other hotels. Hotels nearby are either priced higher or along the main streets. Positives: - The team's service and attitude are consistently professional and courteous throughout my entire stay. Everyone was professional. No one came across rude, impatient, or defensive. They thanked me for choosing them and also took responsibility/ownership on things they did not do right the first time. - They took notes on things you said and requested with immediate response or within 24 hours if needed more time. - They practiced active listening, asked clarification questions to ensure what I needed/requested. - Excellent breakfast, full of variety. They kept standard items standard by providing them daily but also added some variety by changing 3-5 dishes. All foods are fresh and prepared on site. - Housekeeping service had great attitude and was efficient in cleaning throughout the entire stay. - They have an elevator. Most hotels in Taiwan have elevators. - They are happy to help moving your luggage upon request. - Excellent hot shower temperature and pressure - Amenities provided in the room is abundant with good quality - They are trustworthy in honoring pre-agreed upon check-in requirements. Before booking this hotel, I asked about the check-in requirements and what I felt comfortable providing and what not. They agreed and executed accordingly. I appreciate how their words and actions are consistent, which is very different from some hotels (Best Western always acted inconsistently, Marriott, Hilton, and IHG hotels are spotty, some are good, and some are bad) in the US and Canada where they said/agreed one things and acted differently when I arrived at the front desk for check-in. Hotel services in Taiwan are generally much better in terms of service attitude and honoring their words. - Effective expectation management and communication - When raising issues, they took it with positive attitude: they always first owned it by providing a sincere apology, tried to solve it immediately. If they couldn't solve it right away, they asked for more time and provided a timeframe on when it would be solved. Throughout my stay, 50% of issues were solved immediately, and 50% were solved within 12 to 24 hours. No issues remained unresolved. - Common areas are always very clean and organized. Negatives: - Not always have people at the front desk to help open the heavy doors. Better to change it to auto-sliding doors. - The elevator carpet is gross and dirty: time to change it. There was a hair hidden underneath the hand towel on first day - raised the issue and they fixed it the next morning. Should not have missed at first place. - There was a dirty blue cup with watermarks all

The hotel was very conveniently located, near the mrt station and the shopping area. The room was also very spacious and comfortable. Surprised that the bathroom had a bathtub! Bed was comfy too. Although the hotel is far from the city, everything about the hotel itself is amazing. Book this place to get away from the craziness of downtown, but be sure to leave from here more than 4 hours to get to the airport if you're driving. It can be troublesome. I used a triple room, but was assigned to the top floor on the 30th floor and the view was amazing. The accommodation was clean and the sink was outside so it was easy to wash and shower. We booked Sheraton because of its location and name. We booked King Bed, but when we got there they gave us 2 Twin Bed and made a King Bed out of it. They gave us a King Bed room the next day. For Honeymoon we only got 2 small Teabags and 2 small teddy bears. Worst Honeymoon Amenities ever. Breakfast was ok. Good enough. Lobby was too crowded. Location was very convenient. Its a 10 min walk to the taipei 101 MRT station and right under the hotel is a 7/11 convenience store with a MOS burger fastfood chain. When my family arrived, the lobby was super crowded,(maybe due to new year) and a great place to take pictures. The room was quite big, but the toilet was quite dirty. The bathtub had brown stains, and the corners of the toilet were caked in mold. The hotel was connected to Taipei Main Station through Exit M6. There was a lift directly connected to room. We took a Tra train one stop to Rouhe night market, it was very convenient. Overall, Caesar Park Hotel Taipei was a nice place to stay in.

Good hotel with reasonable pricing. Great location - very near the metro - and a green park just across from it. Our room had a nice view of the park. There are restaurants, great cafes, and convenience stores nearby, including the famous xiao long bao restaurant Kao Chi. Yong Kang area is nearby with lots of boutique shops and interesting restaurants. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a complimentary afternoon snack everyday. We stayed here 2x during our trip to Taipei, before and after a business conference that we attended at another hotel.
