The location is convenient. The room service can order meals which are very convenient and delicious. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery when staying on the high floor. The CP value is very high. The sound insulation is very good. When the balcony window is closed, you can hardly hear the outside sound. The only drawback is that it is It's the indoor soundproofing. My friend and I were watching TV in the room and having normal conversations without laughing or talking loudly at all. However, we received a call from the reception desk asking us to lower the volume... So I suggest that people who are used to going to bed early can find a hotel with better soundproofing. I paid an additional 200$ for the breakfast to be delivered to the room. The breakfast was cold. It happened to be that the Soybean Milk Store made the wrong meal that day. When I contacted the hotel, the hotel only said that the breakfast store made a mistake. We can only call them to remind them ~ I can only admit that I am unlucky, but it makes people feel that they are not sincere. After all, I paid a 200$ purchasing fee.

The staff at both the reception and the restaurant are very diligent and attentive to the guests' needs and helping them. Special thanks to every employee in the restaurant. Because I often stay in different hotels, I would pay special attention to the professional attitude of the service staff. I was very satisfied with the service staff at Heyi Zhongxiao Hotel👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼, so I decided to become a member. (Note: Personal experience is that staying in a five-star hotel is not as good as the staff at Heyi Zhongxiao Hotel.) I called the front desk and they told me that I could put things downstairs and there was a safety cabinet at the front desk. Now I can't remember where the last hotel I stayed in without a safe was there, maybe it's not a big deal for many people/most people, but I feel it's outdated and very inconvenient. Next, when we wanted to charge the digital camera, we found that there was no free socket except to unplug the hair dryer! If we both wanted to charge at the same time (say, mobile phones), we had to unplug the TV!! Now I find this to be crazy. Breakfast (we went there at about 9 o'clock, breakfast served until 9:45) and the food that served us was very poor. There were a few porridges (there weren't many side dishes left), and a few fried things I didn't eat because they were really offering something that needed to be improved. My companion and I were eating quietly, and we were all thinking, ”Oh my God... this is what's called great,” and it was the fastest breakfast we had during our holiday. All of this should be borne by me as this is my second trip to Taipei and my companions are here for the first time and we are here on holiday looking for a decent, comfortable enough 3 star hotel. Nor is it that I do not recommend Kaitong Hotel at all, because the hotel is near the subway station (Zhongxiao Xinsheng) is a good choice for some people who want to save money for taxis (although it doesn't cost much to take a taxi in the city). I guess the final conclusion is that if you have extra money and want to return to a nice, comfortable hotel after a day of shopping/bar/sightseeing, you better stay at other, more fashionable hotels. If you are the kind of hotel that is not very demanding, you are looking for a bath, clean enough to look new or old, then Kaitong Hotel is a good choice for you. Also, the next day, Taipei Fullerton 315 called us - some customers cancelled their booking at the last minute so they had a room available. We changed hotels that day. For the next three days, we were tired from shopping and our arms were soft, and the three of us were lucky we changed hotels. We were so tired from the day we broke our waists, and our return to such a comfortable hotel made us all cry with joy.

I am writing this feedback in appreciation of the warm welcome that Ambience Hotel staff extended to me when I checked into the hotel in November this year. In particular, I would like to thank Kayu, who is so warm and forthcoming in her introduction to the hotel and the surrounding areas for transport and dining. Another outstanding staff member is May, who overheard me asking Kayu for an izakaya on the day I checked in. The next morning, she voluntarily provided me with a list of izakaya in the surrounding area which she has patronised before, and gave her recommendations. She also recommended me which 牛肉干 to buy and even checked out the stores for me, when I asked for help. And to the others who made my stay memorable – the male staff member who helped me track down a particular Taiwan product (面茶) and the other lady staff member who ran after me when I left for shopping and asked if I needed some bottled water and later helped me get a taxi to the station, a big thank you to you too. My apologies for not getting your names. Indeed, a hotel can only be as good as its staff, and Ambience Hotel certainly made the cut. 赞！

This is the third time I have stayed at Jiamei, and the quality of service is still maintained. The room is large, the bed is very comfortable to sleep, and the pillows are not hard,-I feel that it is dawn, only-a small episode. It will be repaired in half an hour without affecting the accommodation. Breakfast-it is simple, but there are porridge, green vegetables, omelette, bread milk, coffee, fruit, so that you can eat very full, feel satisfied, I highly recommend Jiamei, and I will go to stay again when I have the opportunity.

The place location is very convenient as you can take 10 minutes walk to the underground station OR take a bus at the bus station in front of the hotel. It’s surrounded by convenient store, places to eat, famous souvenir snack shops, etc. The room was super clean and the maid done her job very well with good sense of service mind. My partner and I were really appreciate with their simply but delicate breakfast. Recommend as a great choice to stay in Taipei.

Good location near Taipei Station but no window in the room so you can't tell is day or night and the toilet is translucent glass so will be problem for friend or colleagues if share room. Toilet don't have shelve to place toiletries and no mirror in the room for dress up.

Generally, I don’t choose youth hostel accommodation when I go out. Considering that accommodation costs in Taipei are generally high, and I leave early and come back late every day, the actual time in the room is very short, so I stayed here once. It was also my first time staying in a youth hostel. . The overall condition of the public bathroom is quite clean. If it is a girls' bathroom, there is a special access control. There will be almost no services during the stay, so there is nothing to comment on.

Great service. Gym has adequate equipment for machine and free weight training, only missing a pull up and dip station. Location is great, nearby many great restaurants and shops. Staff and Concierge are exceptional and helpful in every way possible. In room coffee is limited to instant powder Nescafé packs if you’re a coffee person. Beds perfect, firm but not stiff.

The cleanliness of the hotel room is such a disappointment. The bathroom wall grouting & silicon was moldy, and spider webs were in the room. The TV and aircon vent were super dusty. The aircon, even off, was extremely cold. The overall cleanliness is terrible, with noticeable dust accumulating in several areas. It was disappointing and not up to the hygiene standards one would expect from a hotel room. To make matters worse, the cleanliness issues persisted even after the room was supposedly cleaned. The bathroom grouting remained moldy, spider webs lingered, and the attendant neglected to vacuum away the hairs on the floor. The bed has insects, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. This consistent neglect of hygiene standards throughout my stay was disappointing and unacceptable. This lack of attention to detail further emphasized the subpar cleanliness standards, contributing to an unsatisfactory stay.
