"This resort struck a great balance for our trip, offering far more convenience than the famous 5-star brand resorts we drove past. Those isolated properties have fewer neighborhood options and are probably better for visitors who only want to stay inside the hotel grounds. The resort’s location is incredible, featuring a private beach area right on the property. We loved that we could literally swim with fish just a couple of steps away from our hotel room. The on-site Restaurant is superb, featuring delicious food and a very friendly staff. The location is also incredibly convenient, offering plenty of additional dining options within an easy walkable distance. We highly appreciated the complimentary yoga and fitness classes offered to guests during our stay. The on-site tennis court is incredibly accessible and reasonably priced at just $10 per person a day. The daily tennis fee conveniently includes complimentary rackets and balls （and even water) for your matches. Guests are welcome to play for as many hours as they want, as long as the court remains available."

"Oberall speaking,the stay is good and the kid enjoy the view and swimming pool much. Hotel location is amazing,convenient to anywhere in Kona. It is near the manta ray spot area.cleanness is also good but we do find some bugs in the room."

"Parking was $15 plus tax. The two queen beds were super comfortable. The shower was powerful and the air conditioning was very cool. The room was spacious, and the three of us weren't cramped. There was a sofa, a dining table, a microwave, and a refrigerator. Because we left early, we missed breakfast, which starts at 6:30. The President is nice, 15-20 minutes from the airport."

"Delightful hotel in a prime location: surrounded on a peninsula of sorts by lagoons/“ponds” filled with wildlife like herons, turtles, and fish. Each morning there are people fishing and enjoying the park next door and the pool is situated to enjoy all of this beauty. The rooms are basic and dated but you have what you need and if you have a relaxed Hilo mindset you’ll probably enjoy the 60s tropical vibe as much as we did! Very basic continental breakfast (bread and fruit only), but an okay-looking restaurant on site. There is also a small party/liquor store and a gift shop. Advice on how to make your experience feel like a resort: - book room 416 or something around there: one with a balcony in the Oceanside. - grab some meats and cheeses from the supermarket and if you can, hard boiled eggs or the like to supplement your breakfasts (there’s a fridge in your room and you can put your continental breakfast from the hotel in a To Go container that you re use each day). -get up early each day to have breakfast in the balcony and enjoy your view a couple hours before the day’s activities. So special and relaxing!"

"I can recommend this hotel. There are a lot of extra fees that you have to pay for example 37$ per day for a resort fee and 35$ per day if you want to park your car. So for 4 nights we ended up paying almost 400 dollars at the check out only for fees and taxes. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay. The location is great right by a beautiful beach where you can rent snorkeling gear (for free) and swim with fish and turtles! It also offers a lot of complementary activities and a good (although not amazing) breakfast buffet. All in all we felt very relaxed there and would come back."

"It was my first time in Hawaii and I didn't make a reservation in advance. I made the reservation in a hurry and checked in very late after traveling a long time. The hotel customer service was quite nice. The room was quite simple, but the view outside the window was beautiful. Overall, the price/performance ratio was very high. The most unexpected thing was that the hotel's food was very suitable for my taste."
