Excellent location, friendly staff and good service. The room was ready 15 minutes past the check-in time 2pm, the friendly staff gave us a bottle of wine to make up as he noticed we were a group of friends catching up for a weekend.

Because this trip to Australia was a little hard with a one-year-old baby, I decided to stay in a more upscale hotel on my last night in Sydney with my family, so I chose The Sebel Quay. I have to say that the scenery is invincible. A large floor-to-ceiling window offers a panoramic view of the opera house and Harbor bridge.
Although the hotel itself has a history, it is well maintained. There are a lot of parking spaces around, but they are expensive.

Good location, good service, I especially recommend it for family trips. There are 3 issues that I hope to improve. First, the attitude of Chaya, the front desk staff, was particularly unprofessional when checking out on October 15, 2024. He was prejudiced against guests and was particularly unfriendly. Second, the hotel did not have a spare mini humidifier. For children, the humidity in the room was too low after turning on the air conditioner, and it was particularly dry. Third, my charger was broken for a few days. I wanted to borrow it from the front desk, but it was not available every time. It may be related to the attitude of the service staff. I hope it will be improved.

The room at the hotel was spacious and offered enough room to comfortably settle in, which I appreciated. However, I couldn't help but notice that the facilities appeared a bit dated and could use some modern upgrades. Additionally, there was a noticeable odd smell in both the room and the hallways that was less than welcoming. While the stay was overall acceptable, these issues did detract from the experience.

The room cleaning staff was very excessive. A stain on the carpet was fined 150 Australian dollars. One day, they closed our refrigerator during cleaning, causing the seafood we bought to go bad. We didn't complain. This hotel has very poor service. I suggest you don't go there. The attitude is bad and they always want to cheat money.
