Rooms are of a classic design with solid walls ensuring a good sleep. Windows can be opened which is a nice feature. Staff are all very helpful, friendly and enthusiastic. There are many shops, restaurants, parks and other attractions all within walking distance or short metro ride. We did not have the hotel breakfast this time but on prior visits it has been fantastic. Tianjin is well known for great breakfasts - do not miss the Jianbing guozi !
