In my view, Ritz Tianjin is the branch with the highest service level. ( i visited Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing financial street and Beijing Huamao centre so far) 1. 3 days before arrival - The branch called me to confirm the number of visitors (couple + 7 month old); and the purpose of visit (wedding anniversary) 2. Upon arrival - We were greeted by friendly staffs whom helped us with our 3 luggages and they did it with a smile 3 Miss Freya Luo lead us to the check in and was explaining the restaurants and facilities of the branch 4. During stay, our garbage and room was cleaned up no less than 2 times a day (we only stayed 2 days) 5. Miss Freya, also helped us to arrange parcels (mainly infant diapers and napkins) to be sent to the hotel 6. The exterior of the hotel resembles a castle and its truly special The hotel is merely a room; the service provided by each of the staffs here makes this experience truly memorable Thanks again Freya!

Come to Tianjin again, every road on the side is beautiful, hot, drinking water is given casually, even if you check out, you also ask us if we need water on the road, very kind, the exotic style on Jiefang North Road, especially atmospheric, will come to Tianjin, dumplings, Western food is delicious, Jin cuisine is salty for southerners, in short, Three days of fun

An exceptional stay, one of the best in China in recent memory. Very impressed with the politeness of staff, such as greetings from waiters during breakfast. Hotel is a cutural gem and had no idea it has such a rich history. Quirky and fun, highly recommended. Breakfast was excellent.

The room facilities are a bit old, but very clean. The TV is easy to connect to the switch. There is no odor in the room. There is a smart toilet seat. The service staff are very warm and friendly. The key is that the scenery of Haihe River outside the window is very beautiful. The hotel is in a good location and you can walk to many famous attractions and museums.

A very satisfying stay, a very special soldier trip, mainly for vacation, to experience the food and scenery of Tianjin, to have breakfast, to listen to crosstalk, to make fried cakes, to visit the Ancient Culture Street, to taste the cakes, to go to Tongfahao, to ride the Tianjin Eye, basically everything was done

My family likes old buildings and chose to stay in this hotel formerly known as Da Kuo Hotel when we arrived in Tianjin. It is very convenient to get out of the Xiaobailou subway station, but there is no upward elevator, so you have to take the stairs with your luggage. There was some unpleasantness when I checked in, but it was resolved properly. The soundproofing is pretty good, and I didn't hear any noise from the corridor or the road. Breakfast is simple but has freshly made noodles and wontons.

Excellent location on line 1, so great for moving around the city. Also walking distance to plenty of great coffee shops and sights. Secure swipe entry to main door and rooms. Cute coffee shop as part of the hotel. My room had a bath which also provided a bath bomb for a small charge.

The Shangri-La, Tianjin, is, and has always been our favorite Hotel to visit. This week was a special celebration for us, as we celebrated our 15th Wedding anniversary, as well as our 4th consecutive year in China. We relocated to another City / Province, about two years ago, and was unable to visit and enjoy our special Shangri-La. Prior to us moving from Tianjin, we used to celebrate all our special occasions and milestones, at this branch of Shangri-La. We would always spend our Christmas, New Years, and Chinese New Year's at Shangri-La. Now that we have returned to Heibei, we look forward to continuing this tradition. Things change over time, some familiar faces are no longer working there. However, the new team made us feel right at home again, and went out of their way to make our stay most memorable and special. As I mentioned to one of the team members, it's not the spectacular Lobby Lounge, nor the beautifully decorated features, that make the establishment, but rather the people. Without quality staff and superior service, no establishment can ever rely on reoccurring business. For as long as these values are in place, this Shangri-La can be certain of our patronage. All team members provided excellent service, from the bellhop, to the waitresses, from the front of house to the housekeeping and of course the management team. Special thanks to ”Francis”, the new General Manager, ”Danny”, the Food and Beverage Director, as well as ”Billy”, the ”Food and Beverage” Manager. This trio of Management, ensured that we received the best service possible. Lastly, we would like to thank ”Roger” whom assisted us with a Driver / Transportation, upon our early departure. No visit to Tianjin, would ever truly be complete, with visiting The Shangri-La. See you soon.

The facilities are a bit old, the service attitude is good, the breakfast is too ordinary, with few varieties, not recommended; the location is very close to the Fifth Avenue, there is a 711 downstairs, which is quite convenient.

The room is spacious and comfortable, and the staff is warm and friendly. The location of the hotel is also good. Although it is a distance from the subway, it is not far from anywhere. It is very convenient to call a taxi. There is a good Lao Liu pancake nearby. You can try it☺️
