Hotels Near Tianjinxingkong Art Museum in Tianjin

I was a little worried after reading the bad reviews, but it was unnecessary to worry after arriving. The service of the front desk brother was very good, warm and friendly. The environment was also good, clean and sanitary, and the facilities were OK. The two beds were put together, and the family of three slept very comfortably. The hotel address is very close to the subway and the pedestrian street. It is very convenient to eat around. The only regret is that the room rate was very high during the May Day holiday, more than 1,000 yuan a night, which was painful. When I left, the hotel staff also gave me a box of specialties. There was really nothing fun in Tianjin for three days and two nights. There were so many people, but it was okay to go out and relax.

St Regis lived up to it's reputation for service that goes above and beyond.....we had a problem upon arrival -:the fridge was missing. abd the spa wasn't working. This was disappointing as it was one of tbe reasons we had booked that hotel. Not only did they rectify the fridge within an hour/( minutes?), they also sent up a lovely tray with local treats and they offered us breakfast on the house. We could n't get the spa experience, but felt the manager, Frank, did his very best to make our visit special, and we were so appreciative. We would definitely book again, but know to check a few things beforehand in case the website is not up to date. At any rate, StRegis stands by its service and the manager was excellent. Kudos to Frank Wang!

Love it there! I had my 2-night-stay, and it was a good experience. I stayed in a one bed for one person room. It is not too small or too big. Recommended for a solo traveler who needs privacy. Also, the best thing about this hotel is the location. Really close to most of the major tourist spots and easy to walk around.

Pros: Location is excellent, right next to the Tianjin Station and nearby tourist attractions. Hotel rooms begin from 47 and above. Breakfast, gym and laundry locate on the top floor, 51st floor. Free parking at basement 3. Rooms come with a great river view overlooking the city. Rooms look relatively clean and contemporary, bedsheets and towels are all clean and changed daily. Cons: The hotel allows guests to smoke in the hallway and in bedrooms. Cigarette smoke kept coming in through the door and possibly the ventilation when someone was smoking regularly in the hallway. Especially the lift waiting area was horribly strong, clothes and hair were all covered in cigarette smoke. Small hotel, guest rooms are between 47/50, the lifts have to go from the check in lobby at first floor all the way up til 51, therefore extremely slow lifts, especially during this time of the year, Chinese new year holidays where the hotel is packed, late check-in due to the cleaners were too busy to get all the rooms cleaned up for guests to check in and get the room cards on time, breakfast buffet ran out of dining space at peak hours, guests had to queue outside the hallway. All communal areas are small, e.g the waiting areas and the toilets at the lobby. Very tiny gym, could fit maximum 5-6 people at the same time. Recommend to book this hotel during the off peak seasons, not a hotel for big families.

I was very satisfied with everything. The hotel is conveniently located, close to Beian Bridge and Dante Square, facing the Italian style area, with large windows to see the city view, 1.8-meter big bed, very comfortable to sleep on, 3-separated bathroom, easy to use, and a mini bar, providing basic drinking water and small bottles of beverages and coffee drip bags, the service is also good, there is a time-honored fried dough twist on the first floor as a souvenir, no need to run to three places to buy, downstairs there is a crosstalk hall and foot bath bar street, the bar street stops noisy at 11 o'clock, and it will not affect the rest, it's up to you to spend money, I will stay here again when I go to Tianjin next time

The hotel is near Wudadao, with convenient transportation. The facilities and services of the old hotel are good. I originally thought that I would stay in this hotel again next time I go to Tianjin with such a cost-effective hotel. When booking, I noted that it was quiet and far away from the elevator. The room arranged by the front desk seemed to meet the standards. However, I was woken up by the voice of the man next door early in the morning. Because I was too tired to play during the daytime the day before, I went to bed early at night and didn’t notice it. At dawn, I found that there was a door connecting with the next room. Although it was locked, it was not soundproof and lacked a sense of security. Before checking out, I saw that there was no one in the next room and the door was open. I looked at both sides of the door. There were door handles on both sides. I didn’t know which side the door lock could be opened. My good impression of this hotel was greatly reduced. Since there are guest rooms on both sides, why keep such a door😕

The hotel is in a great location. There are many things to see in the area. We enjoyed taking night walks while there. Unfortunately, we booked a non-smoking room and the room definitely was not. It also seemed like counters had not been wiped down before we entered the room. Overall, I wouldn't mind staying here again because of the location.

This hotel is good location and rooom is clean. Staff service is also perfect. If I travel to Tianjin again, I want to stay again.

The place to stay in Tianjin! We always stay here when returning to Tianjin. Location is the best and service is outstanding. Take Metro Line 1 - Exit XiaoBaiLou station and go out the A or D exit. A is shorter but D exit has less stairs (if you are pulling luggage). As you exit you will see the hotel directly in front of you. Rooms are of a classic design with solid walls ensuring a good sleep. Windows can be opened which is a nice feature. Staff are all very helpful, friendly and enthusiastic. There are many shops, restaurants, parks and other attractions all within walking distance or short metro ride. We did not have the hotel breakfast this time but on prior visits it has been fantastic. Tianjin is well known for great breakfasts - do not miss the Jianbing guozi ! Thank you to everyone at the Clarion for making our stay so enjoyable. We hope to be back soon.

After some confusion in the beginning with my room, it was finally sorted and I had a great stay in the Deluxe room. The hotel is in a great location, not too far from 5 Avenues. Breakfast was okay. Wished they had more western variety.
