Hotel Empire in Shinjuku

こちらはもう何度も利用させていただいています。 ロケーションもよく駅から近く飲食店、コンビニもたくさんあり買い物などに困ることはありません。 建物やお部屋は少し古いですが掃除も行き届いています。強いて言えばアメニティでお湯沸かすポットが部屋になく、一階のウォーターサーバーまで取りに行かなくてはならないのが不便かなと思いました。 以前はあったと思うのですが… フロントの方もとても丁寧で荷物も預かっていただいたり本当に助かります。鍵はいわゆるかけるタイプでカードキーではありません（笑）出かける時もフロントに鍵を預けて出かけます。また、ショッピングエリアにとても近いので買ったものを置く、などもできていいと思います。いつもありがとうございます。 また次回も利用させていただきます。 ありがとうございました^ ^

A bit off the Korean street. The facilities are old. The wash basin is not usable. I just use the bathtub to wash my hands. The bed is good. Overall suitable for students.

The security seemed a bit suspicious and scary. Amenities included toothbrushes and brushes, but no lotion or cream. That's fine, but there was a strange smell from the bath and toilet, and there was mold, so we took a bath in a different facility. Also, as other people have said in their reviews, I got the impression that the hotel wasn't soundproofed, as you could hear people walking down the hallway and the sound of a hair dryer from the next room. It's probably fine for people who don't mind these things or who are only using it to sleep, but I don't think I'll be using it again.
