Hotels Near Yuergou Railway Station in Urumqi

The best hotel in town, clean and hygienic, spacious rooms, mountain views outside the window, robots can deliver things, washing machines and dryers are also equipped, very convenient, very good hotel service is also in place, highly recommended!

First things first, this is clearly a knock-off ‘Hampton by Hilton’ - branding the same, room design the same, and to be fair they’ve done a decent job of it. Room was modern, spacious and clean. Unfortunately, that’s about as positive as I can be about my stay. The location is fine, albeit not many good local restaurants or sights within walking distance, you’ll need to get a taxi. Service at front desk was inattentive and unprofessional. When I tried to use the phone in the room to call front desk and/or housekeeping, the line automatically disconnected. The worst aspect of my stay was the “smart” aspects of the room. Firstly, the aircon does not work. It was 34/35 degrees throughout my stay and despite putting the aircon on 16 degrees with maximum fans, the temperature in the room barely dropped below 27/28 degrees all night. Bring your own fan! The “smart” controls meant that all the lights in the bathroom came on as soon as you moved, which is not what you want in the middle of the night. Equally, the control panel was blinking constantly, right next to the bed, which was very annoying if that kind of thing affects your sleep (it does mine). Worst of all was the TV that simply would not turn off, and was incredibly bright, right in front of the bed. I ended up having to dismount the TV from the wall and completely unplugging it just to get the room semi-dark. Incredibly annoying. If you want a dark room, with a comfortable temperature, this is not the place for you… Its a shame, because the hotel has potential, but as it is I can’t recommend it given these fairly fundamental issues.

Facilities: The facilities are relatively new, equipped with a smart toilet, and the bedding is quite comfortable; Hygiene: There are residual hair in the bathroom, and the details are not done enough; Environment: There is a night market downstairs on May Day, which is very convenient for late-night snacks. The sound insulation of the floor we stayed in is not very good; Service: The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to give the children a toothbrush.

Receptionist 达娜 is so compassionate and efficient - she is my memory of Urumuji Upon arrival i found my Alipay was not functioning well and could not pay the taxi fare. and it was 达娜 who has helped me out by paying for me - an old lady in my 70s - first. I reimbursed her later. This is most unforgettable and i would like to thank her profusely.

It is located at a 20 min walk from the train station on the 23rd floor. A chinese ID is needed to enter the building, just ask the security guard to let you in, he immediately understood where I was going and pointed me the floor number on a paper. Stayed in a 8 person dorm, amenities are good. The english at the reception varies from basic to no english at all depending on the person but nothing a translator cannot resolve. A few others travelers were staying here too during my stay. If you are a foreigner staying in Ürümqi this the hotel I would recommend.

Facilities: OK, quite complete, but there may not be many TV channels Hygiene: No problem, toiletries are available, clean, and we immediately changed rooms if we felt the room had a peculiar smell Environment: The view from the upper floors is good, a little far from the Grand Bazaar, but mainly close to the high-speed rail station Service: OK, fast response, and solved the problem immediately

Perfect location; very convenient for early morning flight. However the amenities aren’t anywhere near a 5 star hotel.

Walking distance from the airport so perfect for me who just had a few hours to catch some sleep before having to return to the airport early the next morning. Room was basic but worth the price for me.

An OK hotel if you're arriving late like I was. They had a free pickup from airport, which is just as well as it's about 2km away! Average hotel and friendly staff but they were late in processing my security/registration paperwork after I left so I was delayed in being able to check in to another hotel the following day.

The front desk service was good. Check-in was quick. The girl was very enthusiastic and professional. The porter at the door also took the initiative to help with the luggage. The room was clean and hygienic. The bedding and pillows were very comfortable. Three people stayed and provided three more toiletries. I asked for four more bottles of water and the auntie gave them directly. The room also gave a disposable toilet seat. Very enthusiastic. She helped me call a taxi when I was catching a flight. The breakfast was good with many varieties and tasted good.
