Hotels in International Grand Bazaar, Urumqi

The hotel is very close to the Grand Bazaar, making it super convenient for dining out and shopping. The facilities are new and the decor is beautiful, all in the Orange style. Even the shower gel and hand soap have a refreshing orange scent. And a special shout-out to the hotel's orange gummies – they are absolutely delicious!

The hotel's location is great, quite close to the International Grand Bazaar. It has its own private parking, which is very convenient. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. The room features smart controls, and the robot service is quite fast.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. However, I would like to share our experience with the complimentary photo session so that future guests know what to expect. If you book through Trip.com, please check carefully what is included. We were informed by the photo studio that our complimentary photo session did not include the traditional costume, while if th guests who booked through some other travel agencies were able to use the costume free of charge. We found this difference quite surprising. Another disappointing experience was the complimentary photos. The hotel receptionist told us that we would receive 3 free photos per person, so as two guests we expected 6 photos. However, when we arrived at the photo studio, we were told that the offer was actually 3 photos per room. The inconsistent information between the hotel and the photo studio caused unnecessary confusion and disappointment. I hope the hotel and the photo studio can provide consistent information in the future, so guests know exactly what is included before they arrive.

Fair review. Pros: The service was good, and the hotel is centrally located, making most places easily accessible. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. Cons: The hardware issues are significant. Firstly, parking is a major problem; there are too few parking spaces, and the road behind the hotel is a dead end. Secondly, the soundproofing is poor, both from the street outside the window and the internal corridors. I could even hear the sound of water running from the next-door sink quite loudly. Thirdly, there was a smoke smell in the toilet. Lastly, walking to the Grand Bazaar Jinquan Market takes over 1.5 kilometers, which is more than 20 minutes.

The room was quite spacious and, most importantly, very clean. There was a subtle, pleasant aroma upon entering, which was incredibly soothing and helped me sleep. The front desk staff recommended some great local eateries next to the hotel and suggested visiting the Grand Bazaar, which is a must-see and just one subway stop away (get off at Erdaoqiao). It was a really unique and distinctive experience, I loved it! Before we left, we were able to store our luggage, and the security guard was very welcoming too – overall, a fantastic experience. The hotel's location is also excellent, making it super convenient for dining and shopping! Highly recommend!

The location is perfect, transportation is convenient, and the room offers a view of the sunset. I prefer this old hotel with traditional decor. I hate the smart toilets these days; they look smart, but they're only half-baked. The lid covers your back before you even lift it, and you flush when you sit down. So I prefer this traditional toilet. The hotel upgraded it and provided a fruit plate and yogurt. There's also a breakfast shop at the back entrance, which the security guard directed us to. Hahaha.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the place was quiet. It was perfect for a trip with elderly guests and children; the seniors slept well, and the kids had plenty of fun. The hotel is very close to the Tianshan Park paintball field, just a 20-minute walk away.

Out of the 6 nights we spent across 5 different hotels during our family trip to Xinjiang, we stayed at this one for a night. Overall, it was pretty good. It's very close to the Grand Bazaar and offers free parking. The room was really spacious and clean, and the service was excellent. The only downside is that the room felt a bit old, but I guess that's understandable for an older hotel.

The room was clean and odor-free, the bedding was soft and comfortable for a good night's sleep, and the soundproofing was excellent. The front desk service was warm and attentive; they even proactively upgraded our room type. The breakfast was rich and delicious. Absolutely great value for money, I'll definitely rebook for my next trip! 10
