Hotels in Hotan 2nd Street/Urumqi South Railway Station, Urumqi

The room, service, and breakfast were all great! It's very close to the city center, and many attractions and snack streets are within walking distance for a city walk, like Hetian 2nd Street, Grand Bazaar, and Jinquan Shopping Mall. Plus, there's a street next to a school nearby with lots of local delicacies like Banmian and Pilaf. We tried one place randomly and it was really tasty. We left a pair of shoes behind when we checked out, and the front desk proactively contacted us; otherwise, we probably would have forgotten about them. Thumbs up! A satisfying trip to Xinjiang.

The hotel has a fantastic location, right across from the train station, making travel incredibly convenient. The receptionist, a lovely young lady, was very welcoming and efficient during check-in, providing detailed information about nearby attractions and shopping malls. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, with meticulous attention to detail. The sheets and duvet covers were of very high quality, the bed was exceptionally soft, and the room was well-insulated, making for a very comfortable and homey sleep. The room facilities were complete, and the lobby offered complimentary tea, lemonade, and coffee, which were all quite nice. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay. I always bookmark this hotel for business trips; it's truly an amazing place!

Book carefully. 1. The sanitary condition is general, and there are sticky juices on the edges and corners of the floor and table. 2. There is central air conditioning and you can't control the temperature yourself. The corridor at noon is cooler than the room, and the quilt is not covered at night, and it is hot to sleep over and over.

The service was excellent! The guy at the front desk took the initiative to upgrade our room type. Seeing that we were staying with pets, he also took the initiative to provide pet supplies. We left some items behind when we left, and the hotel staff also contacted us. Thank you very much! The hotel environment was better than expected, and the rooms were equipped with negative ion machines, humidifiers, etc. Parking is free and the surrounding area is convenient. The only downside to this stay was that the room smelled a bit of smoke, of course, we forgot to emphasize that we wanted a non-smoking room~

The guesthouse is clean and well-equipped. The front desk staff are attentive and helpful. Using a card to access the building is safe. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The hotel has a laundry and dryer with laundry detergent provided. Wanda Plaza is about a 10-minute walk away. Takeout orders need to be picked up downstairs! The room has a stunning mountain view from the window^^

I visited Urumqi in August last year and stayed in a hotel that cost 150 a night. To be honest, the experience was very average. You can find good and convenient hotels at this price in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, but during the peak tourist season in Urumqi, you will most likely only be able to choose a small hotel that looks like a guest house. So I bit the bullet and raised my budget a little this year. Compared with hotels of the same price range, I think the environment and comfort are good, very clean, and the service is very comfortable.

A little bit not soundproof, and other passengers on the day may be talking loudly in the corridor. Good location, you can walk to Hotan Second Street in no time, and the nearby restaurant is also delicious.

The hotel is good and clean. You follow the motorway from the Grand Bazaar. I thought the traffic might be noisy but it wasn’t. However they put me right next to the lift and after midnight someone started going up and down the lift. It was one of those old lifts and very noisy. Finally I went out and it was the night security person and there was a police officer doing security checks. This city has a heightened security level so that can be expected. But isn’t it common sense that the staff use the stairs after midnight ? I had to get up early to catch a train. Also they charge 2yuan for water. At allthe other hotels it is free….
