Marriott Hotels in Wenzhou

Service: The front desk staff, a young man with glasses, was very enthusiastic and answered all my questions. Thumbs up! The cleaning ladies on the floors were also very friendly. Thumbs up! Hygiene: I found a foreign object, a piece of paper (not sure where it came from), in my breakfast rice noodles. The restaurant manager didn't explain what it was and just took it away, only offering to recook the noodles or provide wontons instead. This was a really bad experience and instantly ruined my appetite. The picture shows the elevator when I was checking out. As a mid-to-high-end hotel, the inspection hatch in the elevator shouldn't be left open like that. Given that the price increased by about 50% during the event (my booking price was 1166 RMB), the hotel should at least provide the basic hygiene and safety that a 600-700 RMB hotel would offer, instead of just raising prices and failing to deliver even basic hygiene and safety guarantees. Additional: This Marriott executive king room only provides two bottles of mineral water. It's the stingiest Marriott I've ever stayed in! The mini-fridge was completely empty. This is the first time I've seen a hotel where you have to contact staff just to use amenities.

My stay at the Marriott was fantastic. First, I have to praise the service: after understanding my needs, the front desk proactively arranged a room directly facing the river for me. The view was expansive, with the scenery right in front of me. Although it was an overcast and rainy day, the abundant natural light and superb view still made for a great experience, which was a huge plus. The hotel's location is also very convenient, right next to a large shopping mall, making shopping and dining incredibly easy. There's also a Hema (supermarket), which made getting last-minute supplies during my trip effortless. The breakfast was particularly noteworthy. For travelers accustomed to staying in five-star hotels, this is a reliable and reassuring choice. They offered local Wenzhou specialties – like Wenzhou Rouyan (meat wontons) and glutinous rice, which were authentic and delicious – as well as fresh salad and made-to-order omelets. The dessert selection was rich; I especially have to commend the staff who brought freshly baked taro paste tarts. There were also egg yolk pastries and red bean pastries, which clearly tasted homemade, with a delicate texture that rivaled any dessert shop. Overall, everything from the service and facilities to the dining was satisfying. I'll definitely choose to stay here again the next time I visit Wenzhou.
