This hotel, part of the Marriott group, while showing its age and not having the most outstanding facilities, is located in the safe and quiet West End. It's a 5-minute walk from the subway station, and the room size was just right, with a small balcony overlooking the street. Breakfast, if pre-booked, is £18 per person, and the variety and taste are up to a five-star standard. The value for money is quite reasonable. At check-in, the front desk upgraded me to a standard twin room instead of my original booking of a king bed + sofa bed room. The main difference was the slightly larger area of the twin room, which was a great choice for my family of three. The concierge service was also excellent, providing very detailed directions. Storing our luggage for half a day before leaving on the last day was also very convenient. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit.

Our family stayed in two rooms for three nights. We had requested higher-floor rooms but were given accessible rooms on the first floor instead. We were told the higher floors are only for executive rooms.

There were many small flies coming from the toilets in both rooms, even with daily cleaning. We also saw similar flies around the Parma ham and cheese area at breakfast buffet, which was disappointing.

On the positive side, the location is convenient and there are good restaurants nearby. The service was generally good.

It would help if the hotel could improve pest control and be more flexible with room assignments for families.

The front desk staff were very welcoming and friendly to Asians, and good conversationalists. The hotel is very close to both the train and metro stations. There's a bus stop right outside that goes directly to lively areas like Soho. It's also quite close to Notting Hill. The room was clean and comfortable, and the surrounding residential area was very quiet.

The room was very nice and clean, with a British-style decoration. The location is excellent, within walking distance of major museums, churches, and attractions. It is right next to Green Park, and the balcony offers views of Big Ben, the Thames, and the London Eye. The overall service, facilities, and hygiene are all excellent!

How incredible of the Marriot can be. We were super tired after the long-haul flight, by the time we arrived hotel was around 8am. The reception assisted us and told that the room was ready and well-prepared. So we could check-in then. We were so happy to refresh ourselves after the flight. 

The room was neat and clean every day I could say.
The breakfast was variety and delicious indeed.

Next time if London is our plan, definitely go back!

As for foreign hotels, you can't expect too much.
The advantage of this hotel is that the location is good. It is very close to the core area of ​​the city, including Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park. You can walk along the main road of Hyde Park. Buckingham Palace can be reached in about half an hour if you are willing to walk a little longer.
The room is relatively small, but it is clean. The room is very winding and it takes a while to find it after coming out of the elevator.
The service is OK, but the breakfast is not delicious.

The best level of service experienced in a London hotel.  High quality from the helpful doorman Mohamed, followed by an efficient check in receptionist.  Very high level of security and excellent restaurant options.  great location, 4 minutes walk to Elizabeth line.  Definitely will revisit in the future.

My son and I recently had a wonderful stay at the London Marriott Hotel Park Lane! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, we both had the same feeling as we returned home. Thank you guys you are amazing! The doormen and concierge were especially helpful, giving great advice about football match. Highly recommend this place.

During the epidemic, check-in, check-in and check-out were very smooth, and the hotel facilities were not bad. The key location is good, about half an hour walk away from Soho. Walk to Regent Square in three minutes

I had a wonderful stay at the Shanghai Marriott Marquis City Centre. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and in a fantastic location, making it easy to explore Shanghai.

They were incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. Their warm hospitality made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived and truly enhanced my experience.

Five-star rating! The hotel environment is clean and tidy, with comfortable and upscale decor. The room is spacious with good natural light, the bedding is soft and ensured a sound sleep, and the cleanliness was meticulous and thorough. My father was hospitalized for surgery, so I booked a hotel for my 70-year-old mother. I initially booked 4 nights, but the hospital delayed his discharge by a day, so I extended the stay for another night. 
The first 4 nights included breakfast, but due to my oversight, I didn't realize the extended night didn't. My mother, expecting breakfast as before, didn't order the hospital's plain porridge for my father after his surgery (she felt the hotel's porridge was too thick 😰). When I found out, I asked the hotel if they could humanely provide just a small bowl of plain porridge, but my request was denied after two attempts.

I admit it was my oversight. However, Fuzhong Hospital is indeed a bit isolated, and I had already stayed 4 nights. To have my request for a small bowl of plain porridge denied, despite asking for a humane understanding, left me personally disappointed with the hotel's human-centered service and the staff's empathy. The hotel is a service industry; it should demonstrate a service-oriented mindset and an attitude towards resolving unexpected issues, rather than simply rejecting customers' urgent requests based on procedure.

The front desk staff, Tina, provided service that went above and beyond my expectations. She not only efficiently handled my check-in but also proactively noticed my preference for a quiet room, which significantly enhanced my stay. This truly showcased the professionalism of your hotel.

We've been looking forward to visiting the My Little Pony Hotel for a long time, and finally got to take my daughter. The room was spotless and felt very new. It was great to have a coffee machine in the room. The hotel also boasts a pool and a gym. My little one was absolutely thrilled!

The staff is friendy, helpful, fast and professional.
Room service and in-room dining are great, in-room dining menu has a great selection of food from the world over that gets delivered fast.
The rooftop bar is excellent.
The sports bar has a large display but it closes at midnight so chances are your fav premier league game will be cut short due to the timezone diff.
The pool and the pool bar are great.
The gym is well equipped.
Overall, well worth it.

I was quite anxious when I arrived, as many reviews mentioned the hotel being old and dated. However, after staying for three days, I have to commend this hotel! 1. The lobby is opulent, and 'rich and varied' doesn't even begin to describe the spread at breakfast. 2. The service is exceptional; they are basically ready to help with anything you need. There's always someone to open the door when you enter the lobby, and the front desk and room service are fantastic! When I checked out, they helped me book a taxi to the airport, which was cheaper than both Grab and Trip.com, costing only 500 Thai Baht (to Don Mueang Airport). 3. The gym is huge, easily over 400 square meters, with all sorts of equipment and dedicated staff. I didn't get to use the pool, but there were lots of kids enjoying it. 4. The hotel's location is convenient, right next to an MRT station. Although it's about 6-7km from the main tourist attractions, for this price, service, and facilities, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. Book with confidence! In the evenings, there's a night market nearby, mostly frequented by locals, offering great value for money. If you turn right outside, there's a 'Chinatown' street with all kinds of delicious food.

The hotel is located in the Japanese quarter, which is a great location for getting around and finding places to eat and shop. The room was quite spacious, and the breakfast spread was impressive, offering both Japanese and Western options. Overall, it was a good stay, and I would choose this hotel again next time.

I used to like that hotel in the past, but since they have installed a starbucks in the main entry it lost the last piece of dignity. Now it is an rather old not well maintained hotel with long past glory. The staff is partly very friendly, partly not. But the cafe in the entrace was the last marvel in it’s heart, selling actually good quality coffee and pastries, not that it is subken to the lowest standard possible , with disgustingly bas starbucks coffee and lowest quality sweets out of plastic packaging, it was certainly my last visit. Really sad.

The room was spacious, and the bed and bedding were comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the bathroom was great, aside from not having a smart toilet. The hotel service was proactive and attentive, and the breakfast was excellent. I didn't have time to experience the infinity pool, but the night view from the rooftop was fantastic. Overall, highly recommended!
