Hotels near Munich Central Station were expensive, so I opted for this one a bit further out.
It's a bit of a walk from the station, but the rooms and lobby had a very stylish and clean atmosphere, which was great!
Conveniently, the nearest DM and supermarket are open on Sundays, which is rare and very helpful!
The front desk staff were also very kind, and my stay was very comfortable!

We had an amazing Oktoberfest experience while staying at Hotel Stachus in downtown Munich during early fall. The hotel location was ideal for walking over to the festival grounds while not being too close to the chaos of the crowds and ongoing festivities. We enjoyed a cozy room with plenty of space for both us, our luggage and all our Oktoberfest souvenirs. The hotel itself was clean and well kept as was the room and hallways. Staff was friendly and offered us free beer in return for skipping room service for a day. Very much enjoyed this spot and would love to come back (wondering if non holiday season will make a difference). One note to my future self and other travelers is that the hotel does not have any coffee machine inside the room or community water station/refill spout which meant that we were on our own for both water and coffee. Not a big deal but this was something worth noting.

The price of the hotel was reasonable compare to other hotels in Munich. The lounge was nice and reception staffs are super friendly. They provide free drinks if you skip the room cleaning.
The location is right next to the S3 Fasangarten station. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to Marienplatz, and Hbf.
I enjoyed everything while staying there, but the shower booth was so annoying. It wasn’t even a booth. There isn’t any partition, door or curtain at all. So when showering, water splashed all over the floor.
Overall, reasonable price, almost everything was nice.

Good location, walking distance from Wettersteinplatz U-Bahn station, which is 5 stops from the central station. Munich has a very good transportation system and it is quite cheap to get around if you get a ticket for a few days.

Room itself was fairly small and with plain furnishings, which is not really a problem. They also provide a free beer/water if you choose not to get your room cleaned for the day. However, the room was very dirty, the beds have roller wheels and even though they don't move around, this means there is a sizeable gap between the bottom of the bed and the floor, and this gap was evidently not cleaned for weeks/months as it was full of dust; there was also some dust on the wall near the ceiling, dust in the radiator, and worst of all there was a roach in the room, which I caught and flushed down the toilet before I remembered to take a picture. I would have considered at least moving rooms or even changing hotels if I had the budget to and if it wasn't 11.45pm at night when I checked in. I would not stay here again.

Modern hotel located directly on the highway A7 north of Kempten. Sufficient parking. Water pressure in the shower could be higher. Matrix very soft. Beautiful sauna wellness area. Very few sticks on the bed.
