Fantastic location! West Lake is right across the street, and there are plenty of dining options nearby, though the restaurant at Wanghu Hotel is excellent too. The service is top-notch! The front desk proactively upgraded our room, and housekeeping provided a dehumidifier, a portable drying rack, and a complimentary fruit platter, which was a lovely touch. Many thanks! The facilities are also great; the smart mattress has adjustable firmness, making it easier to fall asleep. The lake view is absolutely stunning! Wanghu Hotel truly lives up to its name. We not only admired it three times a day but also booked our birthday dinner at the 8th-floor restaurant. Honestly, considering it was during the May Day holiday, the room rates were reasonable. Compared to the exorbitant prices at some chain hotels, Wanghu is genuinely a great value. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.

This hotel is perfectly situated within the West Lake Scenic Area, less than a kilometer's walk from the Fish Watching at Flower Pond scenic spot. As I have a soft spot for rooms with terraces and courtyard-style architecture, I was immediately drawn to this hotel. From the moment I checked in, it was one pleasant surprise after another. The hotel itself is a feast for the eyes, with stunning views at every turn – charming courtyard landscapes, air as fresh as a natural oxygen bar, and even its own park with natural springs. Opening the floor-to-ceiling windows in my room revealed a breathtaking panorama that was truly invigorating. The hotel's garden views are every bit as impressive as those in the scenic area. The staff were warm, attentive, and very helpful in explaining nearby attractions. The hotel also boasts a gym, a swimming pool, and a spa, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. The room itself was bright, spacious, and spotlessly clean. We even received a complimentary basket of snacks upon arrival. Overall, the stay was an excellent experience.

This hotel has a very unique history, and the overall feel is quite similar to Shanghai's Xijiao State Guest Hotel (both are products with political undertones). There's a lot of greenery, and it even has the '704 Scenic Spot'. The rooms are spacious enough, and the cleanliness is good. Mosquito coils are provided in the room, and the curtains are electric, so don't pull them manually. The only thing is that the room I stayed in, in the 'General's Building', didn't have a door between the bathroom and the bedroom. The morning light came in too early, brightening the bedroom as well. It would be great if they could renovate that in the future.

My stay at the Qiandao Lake Warm Island Butterfly Hotel exceeded my expectations! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel very welcome. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. A highlight was the hotel's shuttle service, which provided convenient and fun transfers to and from the island, really adding to the vacation vibe. The hotel is uniquely situated on its own island, offering breathtaking 360-degree lake views. The air is fresh and the environment is peaceful, making it a perfect getaway. Great value for money, definitely worth a second visit!

After I booked, the hotel reception called to let me know they were undergoing renovations and asked if that would be an issue for my stay. When I checked in, the staff were incredibly helpful, answering all my questions and providing thoughtful recommendations for local breakfast spots. Ordering takeout was also super convenient as they have a robot delivery service. Since I was tired from the high-speed train, the front desk upgraded me to a room with a bathtub, which was perfect for a relaxing soak. The night view from the window was also lovely. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Wuxi!

This hotel, recommended by a friend, was indeed excellent. It's conveniently located right above a subway station, making transport a breeze. The room was clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped, with attentive service. They offered unlimited water and two complimentary drinks. The super king-sized bed, at 2.4 meters, was incredibly comfortable. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Guangzhou.
