We checked in to two rooms for 5 people with no problems. This is an older hotel, and although clean, there were some obvious repairs needed to bring the hotel up to the next level above average. The room safe was closed and not in operation so we had to keep important items with us during our day trips. The security cards did not work on the outside building doors because the locks were disabled, which would allow anyone access. Room locks worked fine. The breakfast was adequate, but no fruit other than orange juice and no protein choice other than the milk for the cereal. Maid service was not provided unless you stay 3 or more nights, so prepare to pick up after yourself and take out your own trash. Overall, I thought the hotel was adequate for the convenience to the Grand Canyon and the value was OK. I was a little disappointed about the lack of hair care products and shower caps as I could have brought my own but didn't. There was no soft water noticeable, but the water was hot and plentiful.
