We are three families with kids, and we have spent three nights in this hotel. We enjoyed it despite the fact that it was raining during these days. The hotel is nice and clean. Breakfast is various with large choice of dishes. At the evening we used to have dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food is really amazing there. There is also a nice children space and the swimming pool. We highly reccommend the island and the hotel.

Great breakfast. Facilities are a bit old. Rooms are not big but comfortable enough for a one-night stay.

The hotel is right next to the beach, very suitable for parent-child activities. This hotel looks very familiar. The first time I brought my children to Gulangyu Island, it seemed to be this hotel. I took out the photos I took of my son more than 20 years ago. The chubby handsome guy at the front desk and the girl from Zhangzhou answered all questions and introduced enthusiastically. The breakfast was very good, with a full range of varieties. The shacha noodles and noodle soup were several levels higher than the so-called old brands. The security guards helped with the luggage when arriving and leaving the hotel. The hotel's dedicated shuttle bus driver, Master Zheng, was professional and hospitable. We deeply felt the friendliness of Gulangyu Island. I took my kids to visit Gulangyu Island in Xiamen. I read the reviews and chose this hotel. My feelings after checking in are as follows: 1⃣️The location is excellent, close to 📍Neicuoao Pier, and the beach is right outside. Sand digging tools are provided free of charge for children staying in the hotel. The kids had a lot of fun! 2⃣️You can make an appointment for a shuttle bus to and from the pier and hotel, and contact the hotel front desk in advance. The driver we met this time, Master Zheng, was very nice. He took the initiative to help me carry my luggage through security checks when entering and leaving the island, and the service was very good! 3️⃣Xiao Yao at the hotel front desk was very attentive. In addition to sending me some travel guides, he also upgraded me to the super Peter Pan parent-child room that my kids liked the most for free when I checked in. 4️⃣The hotel breakfast is worth a try! After all, there are not many breakfast shops on the island, and I think the breakfast is much richer this time. I can eat 🍲Xiamen noodle soup, and 🍜Shacha noodles, with any ingredients, various meatballs, and a big bowl full.
