Hotels in Qinghai Tibetan Culture Museum/Wanda Plaza, Xining

Regarding the extended stay, I'll just briefly add to this review since I already covered it in my previous post. The room was quite spacious, with a convenience store and late-night snacks downstairs. It's right next to Beichuan Wanda Plaza, making it convenient to buy things. The room was cleaned quite well, but there was no air conditioning, and the hairdryer was too weak and kept malfunctioning. The room key needed to be refreshed at the front desk every day, which was too troublesome, especially for guests staying for several days. After all, the hotel front desk isn't on the first floor and isn't visible upon entering; I had to go to the 43rd floor first to get to my room's floor. The front desk service was quite good, so overall it was acceptable.

The room was pretty good, but it seemed like a lot of tour groups checked in very late at night, making it incredibly noisy. The laundry room experience was also very poor; there was only one washing machine, which was nowhere near enough, and no one assigned to assist with laundry. Plus, the phone in my room was broken – completely unresponsive. I wanted to ask for something late at night but didn't want to go downstairs, so I just gave up. However, the breakfast was quite abundant, and the restaurant area was spacious.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to shopping and dining. It's right next to a Wanda Plaza. The rooms and facilities are new, clean, and hygienic. It's especially quiet at night, allowing for a good night's sleep, so I, who have trouble sleeping, decided to extend my stay. Parking is on the street downstairs, and because we arrived late and couldn't find a spot, the owner came down twice to help, moving his own car for us. The owner and front desk staff were very kind. 👍 There's also a large convenience store on the first floor with a full range of daily necessities. The beef and lamb in Xining are amazing! Before leaving, we bought some, and the owner kindly froze it in the hotel's freezer for us to take home the next day. We were very grateful. Speaking of food, there's a night market downstairs that stays open very late. We arrived late that day and ate there. We found a small shop called ”Harbin Mala Tang” and ordered clay pot rice noodles and Mala Tang, both of which were delicious and inexpensive. My daughter said it was better than Zhang Liang's. While eating, we heard a story: a delivery guy accidentally spilled some food while delivering to their shop, so he went back and bought a replacement to compensate the customer. The owner of this small mala tang (spicy hot pot) shop told the delivery driver, ”If this happens again, just tell me. I can forgo the money the shop makes, saving you a few yuan. You only earn so little in this sweltering heat...” Wishing this little shop booming business! I think Xining must be a warm city, where we encounter one heartwarming scene after another. This was just a brief stopover, but I'll definitely make a special trip back next time...

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Although the hotel entrance was under renovation, front desk staff came to the parking lot to escort us to the lobby. The rooms initially made a good impression, but issues quickly emerged during our stay. We had booked two rooms. In the first room, the faucet pipe detached as soon as we turned on the water. In the second room, after a shower, the bathroom drain clogged, and water overflowed into the main room, flooding it. While the hotel appeared to have good facilities, it seems there were significant problems with the renovation quality. The staff were also visibly struggling, as they were constantly called upon to make repairs.

I booked this hotel more than two weeks in advance. It was a Tibetan-style hotel I was really looking forward to on the Qinghai-Gansu Ring website, but my expectations were only amplified by my disappointment, as I didn't get to stay in my booked room. 1. No room reserved for customers; directed to other accommodations. Upon arriving at the hotel in the evening, the front desk informed me that there were no rooms available and ”upgraded” me to the Qinggan Apartment, located 80 meters away. The room in the Qinggan Apartment was average, so I won't comment further, but this practice of not reserving a room was infuriating! That evening, I checked the hotel's availability on Ctrip, and it showed that the original double room was unavailable, but other room types were still available. I don't understand why they ”upgraded” us to the Qinggan Apartment. 2. Insufficient hotel staff. There was only one person at the front desk, who was clearly overwhelmed.

Our first night in Xining was spent at this Fairfield by Marriott, and the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming. Not only did they recommend some fantastic local restaurants, but they also helped us plan an itinerary that avoided the crowds. The room was clean, tidy, and well-lit, and the bedding was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was a pleasant surprise – the freshly made chicken soup rice noodles were delicious, and the local specialty 'tsampa' (though I hadn't tried it before) was surprisingly good. The fruit was also fresh. The hotel offers free parking, which is convenient if you're driving. There's also a robot delivery service, which was quite fun. The location is excellent too; it's just a 10-minute walk to the ******* Culture Museum, and after that, you can take a stroll in the Beichuan River Wetland Park. I truly recommend this place!

The experience of this e-sports hotel exceeded expectations, the computer configuration is very high, the high-end graphics card is matched with 2K high swipe screen, the whole process of running large games is silky and no carding, the gigabit network delay is very low, and the group battle is particularly stable. The e-sports chair supports very well, and it will not be sore when sitting for a long time. The room was cleaned very clean, there was no smell, the sound insulation effect was excellent, the front desk service was warm and thoughtful, the price was full, and the friend was the first choice, and I would come again next time.

My overall stay was absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless and well-maintained, with a cozy atmosphere and incredibly soft bedding, making for a super comfortable stay. The soundproofing was also excellent. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, all made with fresh ingredients. The front desk and housekeeping staff were consistently warm, polite, efficient, and attentive to all our needs, responding quickly to any requests. We truly felt at home throughout our stay. This is definitely my top choice for accommodation when traveling, and I highly recommend it!

The hotel is located right next to Wanda Plaza, which is very convenient. Parking is also quite easy; if you want to save on parking fees, you can park on the street. Out-of-town tourists won't get a ticket. The room facilities are relatively new, and the mattresses are comfortable.
