The room was incredibly spacious, and we even got a free upgrade to a deluxe room. The high floor offered an amazing view, especially since we were there during the Lantern Festival and could see the fireworks all over the city. The hotel's location is excellent. The Airport Bus Line 2 stop is just 50 meters away, and Xinghai Road right outside is full of great food options. I was in such a rush when checking out that I left my charging cable behind. The front desk staff, especially Deji, was incredibly helpful and even mailed it back to me – I really appreciate it! 🙏 It was a fantastic stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip! 👍

【A Truly Great Value Stay】 I chose this hotel for a business trip/leisure travel and was pleasantly surprised. ✅ Location & Transport: It's very close to the subway station, with convenience stores and restaurants nearby, which is super convenient. ✅ Room Cleanliness: As soon as I walked in, it felt very clean. The sheets and towels were spotless white, with no strange odors. The bathroom drain worked perfectly, showing great attention to detail. ✅ Service Attitude: Everyone from the concierge to the front desk was very polite and greeted me proactively. When I contacted room service with an issue, their response was very prompt. ✅ Breakfast & Facilities: The breakfast offered a rich variety, with both Chinese and Western options, and tasted good. The gym and laundry room, though not large, were perfectly adequate. 🌟 Highlights: The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room offered an amazing view of the city/mountains.

A truly pleasant stay! The room was spacious and bright, with a cozy and simple decor that made me feel right at home. The water temperature in the shower was stable and comfortable, and the water pressure was great, leaving me feeling totally refreshed after my shower. The bed was just the right firmness, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the hotel's soundproofing was excellent, so it was quiet and peaceful. Both the service and the facilities were impeccable. This is definitely a trustworthy and excellent hotel.

Location: Centrally located yet quiet, conveniently close to the Provincial Museum and easily accessible by car. Service: Professional, likely due to their frequent corporate guests. We received a complimentary (and delicious!) Qinghai yogurt upon check-in. Facilities: The room was spacious and bright, equipped with a humidifier. We were upgraded to a higher floor, offering excellent views. Breakfast: A good variety of dishes, and items were replenished promptly. The yogurt was delicious. Drawbacks: Firstly, regarding facilities, there was no physical separation between the bathroom area and the bed. While this created an open feel, it compromised privacy and proper zoning. Additionally, the layout was a bit awkward: the tea/coffee station was immediately to the left upon entering, with the wardrobe further inside, which wasn't a very practical flow. Secondly, I struggled to figure out how to switch the shower function on the bathtub faucet, and the water temperature wasn't as hot as in the main shower. Thirdly, when I asked for a to-go cup for coffee at breakfast, the staff member replied (verbatim): 'This is a buffet; you cannot take it out!😑' This felt a bit inflexible and lacked a personal touch. I'd suggest they learn from similar hotels in other popular tourist provinces to further enhance their service. Summary: My stay was in late August, towards the end of the peak tourist season. For a price of 400+ RMB per night, the facilities and service offered excellent value for money.

My stay here exceeded expectations! The room was spotless and odor-free, with all the amenities you could ask for. The bedding was especially soft and comfortable. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, making the check-in process a breeze. The hotel's location is super convenient with plenty of facilities nearby. It's quiet and comfortable, and the value for money is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend it to everyone! There's even a bookstore across the street and several restaurants nearby, perfect for a weekend getaway.

The hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable, right in the very heart of the city center. Mojia Lane and Daxinjie Night Market are very close by, and there are plenty of shopping malls as well. If you're driving, traffic can be a bit congested but not severely so. The hotel's parking lot isn't huge, but guests are guaranteed a spot, which is a major plus for a city-center location. The price is quite reasonable, which I suspect is partly because they cater to at least two tour groups, and secondly, the room facilities are a bit dated. However, and most significantly, the room reeked of cigarette smoke. Even the towels and bath sheets had a strong smoky smell – I almost suspected a convention of chain-smokers had just finished meeting in the room! I really feel that even if smoking is permitted, a room shouldn't smell *that* strongly of smoke.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mehood Hotel in Xining. The location is excellent — perfect for a stop before and after our trip to Yushu. As with many centrally located hotels, drop-off and pick-up are a short walk from the entrance, but this wasn’t an issue for us. The lifts are shared and can get a bit busy at times, but once on the hotel floor, it’s peaceful and quiet. The breakfast offers a good variety, mostly Chinese dishes, but the staff were understanding and didn’t mind us bringing extra food for the children. The staff were consistently friendly and especially kind to our kids, which made our stay even more pleasant. I really appreciated the laundry room with washing machines — being able to do our own laundry was such a bonus during our travels. The air conditioning wasn’t working but the staff quickly moved us to a cooler room on the other side of the hotel, which we really appreciated. Overall, a comfortable, convenient, and welcoming place to stay in Xining. We’d happily come back!

Very nice clean hotel. Helpful staff. Room modern, clean and just right. Mine didn't have a closet or a safe but that's not such a big deal. This next point isn't about this particular hotel but for all girls in China. Please make it more accessible to non-chinese speaking foreigners. Each of the girls I started with during my trip, do not make any attempt or even try to care. China is getting super automated and self-service but their smart devices and controllers ranging from in-room controls to within the property like room service and delivery robots could also understand English would be fantastic. It's so much cheaper to add a new language to these agents than to have all their staff learn English and it would enhance our experience by a 100x as we would never bother the hotel staff with anything.
