Nice hotel, suitable for vacation, just stay for a few days. There is a 7-11 convenience store nearby and Alipay is very convenient. The most important thing is that his wife is a diehard fan of Yukio Mishima who came to visit the Yukio Literature Museum specially. And my wife is a 30-year-old local Miss Xiguan in Guangzhou. I haven't seen snow before. This time, there was snow everywhere. You can see Mount Fuji not far away.

I/We found this hotel has an ideal base for my quest to climb Mount Fuji which I did successfully on the 7th of July 2023. It was very pleasant to stay at this hotel. The owners are very welcoming and will do their very best to cater for your needs. Such as providing an English breakfast; which was better than an English breakfast in England (photo). They went so-far as to bake excellent English bread. I did enjoy the Japanese Mackerel breakfast too. The owners are very friendly and have a good sense of humour, and it as from using the translator an animated ourselves to be understood. We played table tennis and use the available bicycles to ride down to the lakeside. The mountain view (to the left) from the room is in fact Fuji. The room was a good size for our needs, comfortable and clean. The hot springs are a natural luxury which we would have used more but my legs were sunburnt from my climb up Mount Fuji. Parking was easy and convenient to unload our luggage. I/we would definitely stay again as it would be our first choice in that area. A thank you to the owners ( Mr & Mrs(Lily?)). This room is cluttered and has a bit of a taste
It feels like the 80s, maybe some people like it, tatami is new🤗 more flavorful...
Booked two other room types feel better, even cheaper than this room type😭
At Lake Yamanaka, walk out across the road to see Mount Fuji
The boss lady is very nice... she's Chinese
Easy to communicate.
To the credit of the kid missing headphones in the room
The owner found me back without saying a word, and even helped me send it back to my new hotel

We stayed here for 4 nights in April 2024. The location is very convenient, the bus station is nearby. The embankment is also very close. We had a great time in Yamanakako. You can rent a bicycle nearby and ride around the lake. The places around are very beautiful and calm. The owners try very hard. They keep it clean and prepare delicious breakfasts. There is also a small onsen for residents. There is a shared toilet on the floor. You can wash yourself in it and take a steam bath. In terms of price-quality ratio 5 out of 5.

We are family travelers with 2 young kids and booked the tatami room, however when we reached, we found the tatami room is not the normal tatami style with traditional futons. In website, it’s indicated as “Tatami room (Dog Friendly)”, we thought it’s just a tatami room, but it’s actually the room is dedicated for those bring dogs, so the information in website is a little bit misleading. There is a dog cage in the room and it’s not able to remove.
We booked for 4 pax, only one bedsheet was found in the room, and we have to set up the futons by ourselves, which is not convenient for foreigners.
We feedback to the staff on day 1, after that, they immediately attended to our issues. Here we would like to specially thank Mr. Shekhar Bhandari. He is patient and nice. He helped us change the room on day 2 when available. On day 2, he also provided us a free drinks during dinner.
The food has a few selections. The staff here are polite. Overall, we are satisfied with the service.

Very close to the station and there are restaurants and Lawson nearby.
There are both indoor and outdoor onsen (after 9pm or before 9am will have less people) for woman, and if you are tall enough then you will be able to see Fuji mountain when you are enjoying the onsen.
Our room is high enough so can see the Fuji mountain directly!

Pros:
1. The room comfortably accommodated 3 adults, although the bathroom was a bit small even for one person.
2. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was satisfactory.
3. Breakfast met our expectations.
4. The onsen experience was enjoyable overall.
5. The hotel's location is convenient, being close to Lake Kawaguchiko.
6. Free parking area is near the hotel entrance.
Cons:
1. We specifically booked a room with a ”mountain view” hoping to see Mount Fuji. Our room was on level 3. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to find that our view only included the tip of the mountain, obstructed by buildings and electric cables. This was quite different from the picturesque view advertised on their website. Considering the high price of the room (SGD$800 per night for 3 persons), this was a huge disappointment. We strongly believe that the hotel should reconsider offering level 3 rooms as 'mountain view' rooms and reserve levels 4 and 5 for this category, as this feels like a misrepresentation. 2. Dinner was a huge letdown. We were served only 2 platters of meat (pork and beef) of average quality and 1 vegetable platter for Shabu Shabu. The selection was extremely limited. Although we were offered a Kaiseki Ryori (multi-course Japanese-style meal) for the next evening, there was an additional charge of over $3000+ yen per person for the upgrade. Despite the extra cost, this option seemed more appealing as we did not want to have the same Shabu Shabu two nights in a row.

The service and attitude at the front desk are very good. The hotel is clean and comfortable. We also booked private baths at the hotel. Gotemba premium outlet is within walking distance. It's just a pity that we couldn't see the complete Mount Fuji on the day we arrived.

Free parking, suitable for travelers with self-driving cars, breakfast is average.
There is still some distance from Mount Fuji. The room does not face Mount Fuji. The hotel does not seem to provide a top floor for guests to view?
There are public baths for bathing.
JJasonI stayed here for 2 nights with families. It’s a super clean place and friendly family owned business. Very helpful owner. Nice and warm with air conditioning in bedroom. They also had a wood fan heater at the entrance of front door. Love that one.
The bedroom space just good for us. Will definitely recommend to friends.
KKathyWe checked in on the 1/16th. When we arrived, the owner of the hotel had already put down slippers. The owner was very kind. He asked us to take a rest in the reception room and sit on the massage chairs. Only our family checked in on the day. There is a bathhouse, although the bathing pool is small, the family is very comfortable with bubbles. We have dinner at six o'clock. The boss’s son can speak English. The dinner is also very rich and there are many varieties. We can only make it through. We are too full. The breakfast is too rich. After eating, the boss will take us around the scenic spots of Mount Fuji near Lake Yamanaka. In addition, the transportation is very convenient. You can go to the OUTLETS at the station and turn left for two minutes. They can also park in their yard. It is very good, very suitable for bringing your baby to play, it is recommended
CCHoChanBeautiful house with beautiful views, good facilities and free parking! The first thing I saw when I got up was Mount Fuji! The only flaw is that the lights on the Christmas tree in the beautiful house are not working at all. I don’t know if it’s broken and there must be no power.
MMarco29thvery nice hotel with Japanese style room and breakfast. we've got push bike rent for free and around 6pm they offer hot chocolate and marshmallow skewer to cook in the fire, in the gardenin front of the mt. Fuji. the onsen is pretty good too and rooms are big. I would book it again
Kky917The location of the hotel is relatively remote, but it is no problem if you travel by car.
The design and decoration of the hotel are very fashionable, clean and tidy, the surrounding environment is quiet, and you can see deer, kittens, etc. The hotel has two private hot springs for bathing. You can use it by making an appointment with the staff. The basic ladies' toiletries are all available, and the hair dryer is from Dyson✨
The hotel staff were very helpful and patient. I had a problem with my car when I was traveling by car. I needed to call the local police and get a report for insurance compensation. Thanks to the staff who always helped me communicate in Japanese, it made things a lot easier and saved me a lot of worry. 👍All the staff are very helpful. Although I only stayed for one night, I felt very comfortable.
I highly recommend this hotel. Although Lake Kawaguchi is more popular, Lake Yamanaka is also good. It is close to Shiratorihama and you can have close contact with many swans😆
MMichaelThe B&B is very close to the Yamanakako Hirano bus stop. The B&B is right by the lake. It’s only about ten steps away. You can see the Inverse Fuji. There are public toilets and a traditional Japanese bathhouse. The place is clean. You have to walk up the stairs and have large luggage. , the elderly or those with limited mobility should be considered.
カカルピンチョA quiet inn in a forest about a 10-minute walk from the shores of Lake Yamanakako. An inn with an image similar to that of a youth hostel. This stay was for 5 adults and was a room with a board space between 8 tatami mats. The cospa was the best because it was split by 5 people. The check-in time was told in advance, but when the schedule changed and we arrived early, the front desk was absent. It seems that only one person is responding, and the phone seems to be difficult to connect. If you have any questions, it seems better to ask them all at once. Reception until 10pm. Room facilities include TV, refrigerator, kettle, tea / cup, and bath towel. There is no yukata or toothbrush. It was not cold at all because I paid a heating fee of 1000 yen and put a stove in the room in winter. Baths and wash basins use shared facilities. The bath is available from 19:00. There is no meal service, but there are several restaurants if you walk to the lake. At the inn there were cup noodle sales and vending machines. An inn with a style that you do yourself. There is no excess service, and I think that is reflected in the price. Comfortable enough.
GGuest UserThis time I stayed for two nights, one night and two meals, the breakfast was roughly the same on the two days; and the dinner was barbecue, one night was roast beef, and the second night was seafood. Both breakfast and dinner are served with rice and tea.
The attitude of the waiters is very good, but unfortunately, the English is relatively poor, and they mainly communicate in Japanese and Mandarin.
In terms of facilities, there are two indoor hot springs and a small open-air hot spring. After soaking in the hot spring, you can go to the comic room to read comics/sit low and enjoy the massage chair (no extra money for washing). In addition, there is a Zhuoqiu table in the Lobby position.
The location is relatively far away, and it takes 5-8 minutes to walk to the station and the convenience store. If you are traveling by car, you can moor outside the hotel.
