Hanting Hotels in Yanji

We were traveling with our children and booked a family room. Since there were four of us, the hotel upgraded us from a standard family room to a deluxe family room on the day of our trip. It was much larger, making it easier for the kids to play. The hotel is relatively new, built in 2024, and has a laundry room with dryers. Our clothes got wet playing at the Dinosaur Kingdom, but they dried quickly after we showered at the hotel – very convenient! The location is also excellent, right next to the Folk Culture Park, just a few minutes' walk from the Dinosaur Kingdom, and close to Mao'er Mountain, Hailan, and the Pearl Tower. There was even a free shuttle bus from the nearby parking lot on May Day. Our trip to Yanji was very enjoyable and went smoothly; we had great accommodations and fun activities, and the children were especially happy.

Checked in at night, and the front desk staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They even upgraded my room and gave great recommendations for local restaurants – truly excellent service. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, everything was easy to use. There are also plenty of great food options nearby, and the location is super convenient, really close to that famous 'influencer wall.' The breakfast was fantastic too. Overall, it's a very convenient choice.

Convenient location, very close to the floating market, and then when you come back, you can also check the night view on the bridge to blow the hair. The room was clean and the sleep experience was very good. The service is also very good and I sent my travel guide, recommended!

This is actually a coffee shop, and they even serve coffee! I've never seen anything like it before. Facilities: The reception downstairs sells coffee; at first glance, I thought I'd gone to the wrong place. Cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy, with no unpleasant odors. Environment: It's not exactly close to the famous Instagrammable wall (1 km, a 10-15 minute walk back), but it's perfect for a walk after dinner, and it helps digest. Service: The service was excellent; the receptionist even gave us directions to the surrounding area.

I was extremely, extremely, extremely satisfied with the hotel!!! I can't stress this enough! The hotel was exceptionally clean and very safe. Since it was just my daughter and me, the security lock made us feel much more secure. The price was also reasonable. We stayed in an apartment in Qingdao during the May Day holiday, which was incredibly expensive and not safe at all. I never want to stay in an apartment again on a trip. Because we had a pleasant stay, we maintained a good mood throughout the entire trip. When we left, I even said that the hotel was the part of our Yanji trip that I would miss the most, haha! My daughter also loved it. The hotel is about 1.6 kilometers from the famous ”Instagrammable” wall, about a 25-minute walk, which I don't think is far. We often go for walks in the park in the evenings. Yanbian University is opposite the ”Instagrammable” wall, the West Market is on the way from the hotel to the wall, and the Development Slope is also very close to Yanbian University. I think the hotel's location is quite good. We arrived at the hotel around 7 PM. There was a very handsome young man at the front desk (I personally think he looks a bit like Lee Do-hyun from Korea; I'm definitely older than him, ”young man” is just a nickname). He gave us room 602. After we got our room key and entered the room, I felt it was on the shady side (just my opinion, because I hadn't seen the sun in the four days I was in Yanji...). I went down to find him and said I felt our room was on the shady side and wanted to change to a room on the opposite side. He then asked which floor we wanted, since there were rooms on the second, fifth, and sixth floors. My daughter said the fifth floor, so he changed our room to 519. When we got to 519, we found our luggage was still in 602. We ran back to the front desk to find him (because our room key only went up to the fifth floor). I said, ”Let's change to the sixth floor, so we don't have to carry our luggage up and down.” He changed our room back to 619 and then took us to 602 to retrieve our luggage. He was patient throughout the whole process. They asked if we had touched anything in the room, as it might need tidying up if it had. We said no, we just took our luggage to the room and went downstairs. Then we checked into room 619 and began our five-day trip. By the way, our room didn't seem to include breakfast. I didn't know that at first. When I asked the next day, the young man there said that two people could use one breakfast voucher, and he gave us one. The third day, when I went back, a different receptionist said our room didn't include breakfast, so we bought one voucher for 8.19 yuan. The breakfast was very plentiful, definitely a great deal for 8.19 yuan, but the young man's kindness was a huge bonus! Experiencing so much kindness in a strange city, not just him, but also other things, made this trip very enjoyable! I've been busy since I got back, but I kept thinking about my review, and before I knew it, I'd written so much, haha! (The room was a bit messy because it was taken on the last day, sorry!)

Decent hotel with modern feel. Unfortunately our room had a leaky sink and there was no maintenance person on site to fix so we had to relocate to new rooms. One of the new rooms smelled of smoke although they were meant to be non-smoking rooms, but it was tolerable after airing out with the windows open. The wall sockets have USB A and USB C sockets on them which is very convenient, and the TV shows the status of the washing machines. Wooden floors means the rooms are easy to clean. Showers had decent water pressure and with controllable temperature. Overall pretty good hotel with excellent value for the price.

While the location isn't as prime as the 'influencer spots,' it offers great value for money. There's a BRT station right next door, and it's just a 1 RMB, less than ten-minute ride to those popular areas. Getting to other attractions is also very convenient, and it's easy to catch the high-speed train in the morning. The service was excellent; when I found the room too dry at night, the front desk readily provided a humidifier. The hotel's breakfast buffet was also good; we ate there every morning before heading out during our three-day stay in Yanji.
