The hotel facilities are good and the surrounding nightlife is rich. There are many people on the street at three o'clock in the morning. The hotel is soundproofed.
I was just in a hurry and didn’t experience it in detail.

Le Djeuga palace, plein centre ville J'ai aimé, plusieurs fois, j'y suis allé dans le cadre de mon travail. Un jour j'avais un problème de chemise froissé. Le problème a été résolu en un clin d'œil. The hotel is well located and the food was good. However, the accomodation does not meet the standards of a 4-star hotel. The personnel at the reception desk can't give change if you pay in cash, but worst of all, they tried to charge me for the services twice and gave me some bills for food I never ordered. The room was not in the best condition: when I checked in, there were large spills of water on the bathroom floor and the towels were dirty. Djeuga should definitely invest in providing single-use slippers for its guests. Wi-Fi in my room was very slow, almost unusable at times. When a couple of days after my stay I emailed the hotel to reguest a detailed bill to get reimbursed at my job (the one they gave me did not specify what I paid for), my emails were ignored. All in all, I would not recommend staying at Djeuga Palace Hotel during your trip to Yaounde.

Was on medical conference at this hotel. It’s centrally located, decent breakfast but that’s about it. Shower pressure is pitiful. Had awful experience with the commercial manager. We were due to run a workshop in one of the rooms. We decided to set up but he came in barging telling us the room wasn’t booked for that day. He insinuated that we need to pay. We calmly asked him to speak to conference organiser, as we were just guests. The following day the keys weren’t available, started the workshop very late. Next day, again barges in shouting at my colleague that you only have the room for one day, despite telling us day before we had it for 2 days. Again said we hadn’t paid! At this point I’d had enough and yelled back, telling him to stop shouting and to get out of my sight. For a manager, I find his behaviour unacceptable and extremely rude. Needs to go on a few courses on hospitality management.
