Rooms are spacious! Clean and tidy. Theme park next to the hotel is run down and not much attractions during the day. Occasional light shows or free entries but your timing must be right to view this. Location is next to the beach as well. Only downside for Onsen lovers is it operates limited hours.

Located slightly off the main road but easy to find via Google Maps (we drove a rental car ourselves). Plenty of free parking spaces. Smooth check-in & out process with house rules clearly written in English, the attendant was kind & understood simple English words so no communication issues. We had a clean, spacious room for 3 adults (good for 4; futons are in cabinet) in a traditional meets modern room type with full amenities provided (collect toothbrush set, slippers, etc from concierge). Breakfast was a local Japanese spread (don’t expect too many choices but decent in flavour) in a traditional Japanese teahouse - loved the vibe! Entry to the theme park was free (already part of hotel fee) & was a relatively quick walkthrough - there are some areas of workshops like painting your own shisa, so worth a check if you’re into crafts. The theme park was yokai-themed when we were there in early Sept so it added an element of spookiness to it, we missed the projection at night - it would’ve been a sight to see. Overall, it was a pleasant stay at affordable rates & we’ll be back if we’re ever in Yomitan.

The hotel is suitable for self-driving tours, and the staff at the front desk are friendly The room was big and the breakfast was pretty good. It was a leisurely meal in an old house. You can also visit the store next door the next day I will probably stay here again next time I come to Okinawa

The room is large and friendly. It was a cost-effective accommodation as the lantern tour was free in the evening and the large public bath was free to use. It was nice to be able to eat home-cooked Japanese food for breakfast.

This hotel is adjacent to the Experience Kingdom Murasaki Mura. There has been very little recent information, so I hope this will be helpful for those who are considering staying here. Information as of 2023.21.22. ① Access The nearest bus stop is "Oto", and it is a 1.2km walk. It takes 15 minutes for an adult, but it is tough if you are with a small child. It is difficult to walk while holding a child's hand and carrying luggage on a road with no sidewalks and a surprisingly large amount of traffic. There is a Lawson just next to the bus stop. I recommend taking a taxi to conserve your energy and time. In Yomitan, it seems that Daiichi Kotsu is the best. The reviews don't say very good things about Daiichi Kotsu, which we arranged with the hotel, but they took us 4 minutes to get there and cost 560 yen per meter to the bus stop. Lawson is an easy landmark, so I don't think you'll pass it by. Probably. By the way, you can get to "Daito" from Naha Bus Terminal on bus stop 3, bus stop 28 in about 70 minutes (please check just to be sure). The fare is 1,070 for adults and 540 for children, and one preschooler is free per adult. Please check this when you board the bus. ②Restaurant Taiki...Only open for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Shanatei...Only open for breakfast for guests, not open for lunch or dinner. You can eat Okinawa soba and shaved ice in the park, but if you want to eat at a restaurant, you have to go to an outside restaurant. If you have a rental car, it should be fine. It would be nice if Taiki and Shanatei resumed weekday and dinner service. ③Hotel The rooms are spacious and comfortable. You can go outside without going through the front desk. Guests can also use the large public bath. Towels are also available for free at the reception. You can freely enter and leave the park. It's nice to be able to stroll around the park early in the morning when there are no people around. Admission to the park and the lantern festival are free. (Lanterns will be held until 2023.3.26) The breakfast menu changed drastically every day. I didn't get bored even when I stayed for several nights. ④ Nearest beach Currently, it is Melody Beach on the map. There is an area with a rope that wasn't there before. It seems that Melody Beach is private property, so it is better not to go inside. It seems that it is okay to go anywhere else, but there may not be many places to play at high tide. It was a beautiful and quiet place, which was nice... There are other natural beaches if you walk a little further. ⑤ National Travel Support Coupon You can use it at the souvenir shop in front of Murasaki Mura. It could not be used for experience facilities or food and drink in the park. Instead, you can buy a coupon with a face value of 3000 yen that can be used in the park at the hotel front desk for 2500 yen, which is only available to guests staying at the hotel. It is not known how long this will last, so please contact the hotel. It seems that the extension of the national support has been decided, but I don't know if Okinawa will be extended as well. If the national support becomes available in the future, the scope of the coupons may change, so if you are planning to use it in the future, it is best to check each time. In Okinawa, the validity period is until 11:59 p.m. on the day of check-out. If you stay at the same hotel for consecutive nights, you can use them all together on the last day, but if you stay at a different hotel for two nights each like me, you will have to use them all at once, so I was worried. In particular, Murasaki Mura cannot be used inside the park, and I couldn't rent a car this time, so I used most of the points at the souvenir shop. The souvenir shop seems to ship nationwide, and it seems to be slightly cheaper for guests. It's also listed on Murasaki Mura's website. ⑥ Crowding I wondered if it would be crowded because it was spring break, but it wasn't crowded at breakfast or inside the park. I didn't have to wait for the experience. I had a comfortable time. I hope this is helpful for those who are planning to travel in the future.

There were many experiences and I was able to spend a whole day having fun at the facility. It would be better if the transportation between the hotel and the facility was for guests only. There were many dead ends and it was a bit of a hassle to get from the hotel to the facility.

This is my second time staying here, following last year. We stayed in December as a family of five, including three children. Above all, the rooms and facilities are clean and spacious! The bathroom and toilet are separate, and they are also very clean. Sleeping on the tatami floor of a Japanese-Western style room is great for children who like to sleep in dynamic positions. Another great thing is that you can play to your heart's content at the adjacent Murasakimura. Although I live in the prefecture, I stay here for one night at this time of year because I want to enjoy the Lantern Festival at my own pace. The breakfast is also delicious and very satisfying. I will stay again in a year!

This is a small, good, hidden gem of a hotel that I have visited many times. The basic rooms are spacious, with tatami mats and two beds, and the toilet, sink, and bath are all separate, making it a very convenient hotel for families, including small children. There are also two sinks in parallel. Although it is not on the seaside, you can see the ocean from the third floor. It is located on the grounds of "Murasaki Mura," and you can hear the voices of children from the neighboring "Yomitan Nature School" (although it does not reach the room), so you can fully experience the lifestyle and atmosphere of Okinawa. For swimming, it is convenient to go to "Nirai Beach" next to "Hotel Nikko Alivila" in about 3 minutes by car. There is a spot nearby where you can see a beautiful sunset, and you can go there for a walk. However, the size and functionality of the large public bath "Yu-ful" and the limited menu at the breakfast venue "Janaitei" are inevitably inferior to those of large hotels, but I think the price setting includes all of that. What's unfortunate is that the "natural beach" where you used to be able to stroll around freely has been given an incomprehensible name like "Melody Beach" and has been decorated with noisy signs and structures claiming ownership, revealing the dark side of the desire of Okinawans (some of them even wrote their cell phone numbers and names) towards nature. According to the locals, the right side or north side of the natural beach is owned by "Murasaki Mura" so anyone can enter and enjoy it. I hope that the natural beach will be owned by "Murasaki Mura" or "Yomitan Village" and will return to a place where everyone can enjoy themselves. It was very unfortunate. This will greatly reduce the value of Hotel Murasaki Mura, so I will be careful when I stay there again in the future.
