Lovely stay! Got the matterhorn view suite and it was so beautiful! The receptionist was also very helpful with guiding us with what we can do at Zermatt! However, need to take note that their reception will only be there till 10pm. It’s actually stated but I didn’t read it so when I arrived Zermatt train station at 11pm, I panicked a little. We flag down the taxi at my own cost, 18chf for 3 people and luggages, they dont provide free taxi after 10pm. Also, the entrance door will be closed/locked after 10pm, we rang the bell and the door opened and they left the key with a letter on the counter for the check in. The breakfast place is also overlooking the Matterhorn and it’s so pretty. Stayed for only 1 night but really enjoyed my stay there!

The location is very good, the balcony directly overlooks the Matterhorn, as does the restaurant. Although the facilities are a bit old and dated, the accommodation is still very comfortable, and the bed is very comfortable. In addition, there is a cemetery next to the hotel, which is fine for those who mind, but it seems that Westerners don't care, and it is in the center of the town.

I stayed on the first floor with a balcony, the environment was very good. But the view was not as beautiful as the one upstairs. The breakfast was delicious, and it was especially delicious to have breakfast facing the Matterhorn.

The hotel is located a 10-minute walk from the station and the front desk service is friendly. The restaurant has a nice view and the service staff are very friendly. The best thing is the view from the room. It faces the Matterhorn. You can sit on the balcony and watch the scenery without wanting to go out. The hotel also has a spa and swimming pool, but we preferred hiking in the mountains and did not experience it.

The room is spacious and bright, with heating, after all, the temperature difference between morning and night is quite large. We stayed on the first floor, there are lounge chairs outside, and we walked directly to the large terrace, with an unbeatable mountain view. The Matterhorn is outside the restaurant window, and the breakfast is of high quality. The geographical location should be emphasized in particular, which can be said to be unparalleled. The best place for tourists to take photos of the Matterhorn is on the bridge next to the church, which is the main entrance of the hotel!

The hotel's location is right in the center of the town of Zermatt, making it easy to get in and out. The room was clean and tidy. Our suite could directly see the Matterhorn, but there was a building in front of it that slightly affected the view. Breakfast was also very good. We also enjoyed the sauna and swimming pool. It's just that you have to take a separate elevator to access the outdoor swimming pool.

I had a very good stay. The view was extremely beautiful. The food and service were impressive. There was free afternoon tea to eat as well. It was great.

It's really good. Every time I stay in a nice hotel, I'm afraid it will become popular. 🤣

The room has a great view, and breakfast faces the Matterhorn!

My husband and I spent 3 nights here during a two week hiking trip across Switzerland. We really really liked this hotel! The room was well laid out, rather spacious, and very clean. We had an amazing view of the Matterhorn from the balcony! The breakfast room is just stunning and the morning spread was lovely. The location is very convenient to town. They have an outdoor pool with a stunning view of the Matterhorn and spa facilities that include a snow room! In addition to the room and location, what impressed us the most was the front desk staff. My husband had cut the palm of his hand in the previous town where there was no doctor (a nurse cleaned and bandaged it, but could not stitch it). After arriving in Zermatt and hiking the 5 Lakes trail, my husband discovered that the butterfly bandages had come off and the wound was red and swollen. We asked the front desk staff for a doctor recommendation - - a lovely woman referred us to the emergency doctor and called ahead on our behalf. We were able to see the doctor within 15 minutes and he took good care of my husband. When we returned to the hotel and throughout our 3 day stay, numerous staff members checked in with my husband and asked how his wound was healing. They genuinely cared. It really showed us the kindness of this staff, which is in itself indicative of the culture of this property. We couldn't have been happier with our experience at this property!

La Couronne Zermatt picked us up from the train station in an electric tuktuk. We had 2 giant rooms on the top floor with balconies and views of the Matterhorn. The bed and linens were really comfortable. There was a small fridge in the room. There was a large sitting area and tons of room to put your skis and boots and ski clothing in winter. The bathroom had a gigantic tub/shower. If you got your laundry in by 9 AM, you got it back by 6pm. I used their spa every of the three days we were there. The sauna was fantastic. They had a snow room you could run into from the sauna. The indoor and outdoor pools were both small, not big enough for laps, and had tepid water, not hot, but just warm. They're called relaxing pools. And indeed they were very relaxing. You can stay in them for quite a long time. They all had views of the Matterhorn, as long as you situated yourself correctly. They also gave massages for an extra cost. The women at the reception desk were incredibly helpful and friendly. You also got a discount at the sports store located next to them. The restaurant was merely okay. I would return to this hotel in a second.

Amazing stay. Beautiful view in the heart of zermatt and walking distance to everything. Can see the Matterhorn outside our balcony. Amazing staff at the front desk who helped us constantly and checked in on us. I believe Mary was one of the people who helped. Can say enough good things. The massage, pool, weight room and breakfast were all amazing

Location: 8/10, close to shops, restaurants, walking distance to the Matterhorn museum, Main Street, train station (the hotel provides pickup and drop off service from the station), and walking distance to the trams going to Glacier Paradise Hotel: 10/10! The room was huge, clean and modern. The large balcony had an amazing view of the Matterhorn. The spa area was the best I’ve seen in all hotels I’ve stayed at across Switzerland. There’s a heated outdoor infinity pool that offered a perfect view of the Matterhorn. The heated indoor swim spa and dry sauna also provided a beautiful views of the mountains too. There was also snow room that was really cool. Breakfast was under a sunroom (again with a view). Lots of yummy options to choose from. Staff: 10/10!! Every single staff member we encountered were all so friendly and welcoming. Customer service is so important, it impacts the guests experience, this hotel knows what it takes to work in hospitality. Well done La Couronne staff! Overall: I highly recommend this hotel. Every aspect of this hotel is top notch from staff to rooms to location to amenities.
