Luas dan kemas, cuma lantai tempat shower agak licin dan jamban leaking, jadi toilet always basah 🫠🫠 kawasan yang strategik mudah cari makan even 1 pagi. parking agak susah, just double park anywhere dekat kawasan parking. idk if toilet ada exhaust fan sebab bau dia terperangkap saja even lepas mandi, but oklah sebab ada tingkap besar, even alas kaki tak cukup. ada 1 saja. ez. overall ok saja cuma toilet saja"

"Hi, we taught had booked a hotel room at Grandeur Hotel & Spa but end up with a shoplot rooms wt a different budget hotel under same management so called ”Avaria Hotel”. Its just a queen size bedroom provided not as booked room earlier, don't have lift only staircase to 2nd flr so get ready to carry your heavy luggage & pls purchase mineral botol since u have to walk downstairs to refill fr waterfilters provided, bedsheets looks quite old but ok clean... Just nice for a night stay, bathroom is ok wt hot shower filter, nearest food restaurants & a strategic place to city centre"

I forgot to request room decorations for our anniversary in advance, but fortunately, the staff were kind enough to accommodate my request. They surprised us with simple decorations and a complimentary cake, which made our special day even happier and more memorable. 🥰🎂

The room was spacious and clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We also loved the view! We were lucky enough to enjoy views of the town, the sea, and the surrounding Klebang area. 🌊✨ Lastly, I really loved the breafast options & taste, it was variety and good quality of food 😍
I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay. ❤️

SanfentangnaichaOverall, I really liked this hotel with its strong Nanyang (Southeast Asian) charm. From the exterior to the room decor, everything felt great. It's within walking distance to attractions and close to the TBS bus station, just a fifteen-minute drive away.
However, there were a few things I wasn't happy about:
1. I didn't realize beforehand that breakfast here is à la carte and only starts at 7:00 AM. It also takes a while for the food to be prepared. Since we had already booked our bus back to Kuala Lumpur for 9:00 AM, there was no time to eat. It was a shame, and we couldn't get a refund either. The staff kindly packed two boxes of bread for us, but for a breakfast costing several hundred for four people, it wasn't worth it. If you want to enjoy breakfast properly, definitely plan your time carefully.
2. We were three adults and one child, but we were required to book two rooms. Even though the rooms were spacious, we couldn't add an extra bed.
3. The soundproofing in the rooms was very poor. We could clearly hear our neighbors showering and flushing the toilet at night, and it was quite noisy.
4. We were charged 600 RMB for the two rooms upon check-in. I paid with a credit card, but upon check-out, I was told the refund would take 15 business days to be credited back to my account. That's quite annoying.

Everything you need for food, drinks, and entertainment is easily accessible. It's also not far from major attractions like the Dutch Square (Red House) and Jonker Street.
2. **Cleanliness and Amenities:** Although the interior decor feels a bit dated, the hotel maintains good cleanliness and is tidy. Both the rooms and the entire hotel are very spacious with comprehensive facilities, easily meeting the standards of a domestic four-star hotel or higher. It's also very quiet, ensuring a peaceful and restful night's sleep.
3. **Extensive Breakfast & Large Pool:** The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, though it might not entirely cater to Chinese tastes. The swimming pool is also quite large.
4. **Good Service:** The hotel staff provides good service and is friendly towards Chinese guests.
**Overall:**
Considering the price point of 300-500 yuan, this hotel offers excellent value for money. The stay experience was very good, and I personally recommend it.

VickyyapOverall, my stay was quite good, and the location is excellent ✨. However, there are a few areas where hygiene could be improved. I noticed a clear yellow stain in the toilet upon check-in, and I hope the hotel pays more attention to cleanliness.
Additionally, I had the 'please clean my room' sign on, but when I returned, I found that the staff had placed my pajama pants on a damp small towel, and the old towels hadn't been removed. While I understand placing clean towels on the bed, I found it hard to accept that the foot mat and new clean towels were placed together. I hope the hotel can improve staff awareness regarding hygiene when handling towels and guest belongings.
Despite these minor issues, I would still be willing to stay here again in the future. I hope the hotel can enhance its cleaning and hygiene management; I believe the overall experience would be even better. ✨

RenzhenrenThe hotel's location is great, right by the sea. It's a ten-minute walk north to the cruise terminal and Dutch Square, and then across the river to Jonker Street. Heading south along the coast takes you to the Straits Mosque. The rooms are quite spacious, and the facilities and cleanliness are very good. The breakfast is extensive, and all the food stalls are run by Chinese chefs. The afternoon tea is excellent value for money (45 MYR for two people). The staff are all very friendly, and one person at the front desk speaks Chinese.

This hotel definitely has a lot of character. Let's start with the positives: the lobby is absolutely stunning, steeped in history, and truly a sight to behold. The breakfast was also a highlight, offering a great selection of unique fruits and dishes. The dining area itself was comfortable, cozy, and elegant, making you feel like you're dining in a historical masterpiece.
Now for the downsides: the hotel is quite old, and the facilities and equipment are showing their age. The bedding was also not up to par; the duvet in our room was stained with what looked like blood, and we had to call someone to replace it. The soundproofing in the rooms is poor. While being on Jonker Street is convenient for exploring, it also means traffic jams every time a vehicle tries to enter, making getting in and out a bit of a hassle.
If you prioritize unique character and historical charm, this hotel might be for you. However, if quality and attention to detail are your main concerns, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

As advertised, great resort.
Cabin’s are slightly dusty and may have cobwebs but not to the point where it would bother you.
There were reviews saying it was *******, safe to say, did not see any of the sort.
We love the cozy type resorts and typically avoid city hotels, but this time round the resort is a little far from the city taking 30-50min depending on traffic.
Overall great experience.

Anonymous UserAll basic toilet accessories are provided. Lack of s/s tea spoons, don't like given plastic to stir hot drinks. Air cond is cold enough and good that can turn off. Shower water pressure is good. Shower and shampoo gel were provided but no hair conditioner. No smart TV or any cable channel. Walking distance surrounded with bar and food but not to Jonker Street.
