When we booked, the default pick-up point was Terminal 2. However, since we were departing from and landing at Terminal 1, the rental company arranged for us to pick up and return the car at Terminal 1 free of charge. Both of our flights were red-eye, and we paid an extra fee when booking, so staff were present at both pick-up and return. The car they gave us was very new, with only 150 kilometers on it. However, one thing to note is that the exterior inspection the rental company showed us when we picked up the car was far less thorough than the inspection when we returned it. Because we had full insurance, we assumed that the rough inspection during pick-up would be less thorough. But when we returned the car, the rental company inspected it very carefully. There was a small mark on the rear of the car, and the rental company asked us to wash it and check it. If it was a scratch, they would take further action. We wiped it off with a wet wipe and let it go, but if it hadn't been wiped off, we might have needed to allow more time to fix it so as not to affect our flight.
