Since the Toyota website no longer had Sienta available for rent, I decided to book through Trip.com. This time, I rented an older model Sienta with quite a high mileage, but the overall condition was good. However, shortly after returning to the parking lot, I noticed one of the tires was slightly flat. The pick-up location was very close to the airport, with a shuttle service, which was very convenient. However, the staff seemed to have fewer clients who booked through other websites, and I couldn't find the required reservation number in my Trip.com booking details. They needed some time to retrieve my reservation, and after confirming, the staff charged me again, making me wonder if I had actually paid through Trip.com. Only after confirming several times did the staff assure me that I didn't need to pay again; I almost got double-charged. The staff were very friendly, and the return process was very smooth, with quick turnaround time from return to airport pick-up.

The exterior of the car looks new. I like that it's a hybrid model; it's very fuel-efficient. I used it for 6 days in total, and the total fuel cost was less than 35 liters. I traveled to Yufuin, Kumamoto, Mojiko, and Fukuoka with it. It's a great car for taking elderly people on trips. Picking up the car was easy, and the service was excellent, meeting Toyota's standards.

The car is two years old and has over 40,000 kilometers on it. Picking up and returning it was convenient. There was only one small counter at the airport, and it was empty when I arrived. There was a hotline to arrange for a car to pick it up from a nearby location. Overall, there were no problems, except that the insurance staff said that because the car was booked through an agency (trip.com), even with full insurance provided by Toyota Rent a Car, in case of damage or an accident, the customer would have to pay compensation first and then claim reimbursement from Trip.com. This is different from buying full insurance, so they advised me to be careful when returning the car, taking photos as evidence to avoid future disputes. I asked for a return receipt or similar record, but the staff said they didn't have any, and that having one would provide extra protection for the customer.

I was assigned a different car (Corolla) instead of the vehicle I reserved (Prius), and it was uncomfortable because it was smaller than the one I booked (it feels like a downgrade). There was no explanation, though. The condition of the vehicle and the pick-up location were good.
