Hotels Near Four Leaves in Amsterdam

It is ideally located within 1 km of Amsterdam Dam Square. There are GVBs on the 2nd and 12th lines at the door, and there is a train every 3 minutes or so. Take the 2nd and 12th roads to Amsterdam Central Station and take the INTERCITY train to all parts of the Netherlands. Because it is the core area of Amsterdam, the price is relatively expensive. Hotel facilities are old, but fortunately this time is around June, there is no air conditioning in the room, I don't know if I can still treat people in the summer. . . There is no elevator in the hotel, and it is very difficult to carry large luggage. There is no electric kettle in the room. If you need to drink hot water, you have to go to the building. The front desk staff will use the key to turn on the water heater to get hot water. In general, apart from the high prices, others are not ideal. . .

The room is a bit small. If you’re around 5foot in height, it is perfect for you but staying there with my partner who is 6ft, it was a bit difficult to move about. The bed is soft and comfortable but again small. There are not enough socket to charge our phones. I think there was just one and it is on the bottom of the bed. Nowhere else to sit aside from the bed. There was a mini ‘coffee table’ where the phone is but it is in a corner that has a low ceiling so it’s not really very accessible. During our whole stay here, we stayed in the top floor and the elevator was broken. The whole stay it was broken and the stairs are very steep. If you try and climb or get down these stairs drunk, I don’t think that will have a good outcome. It was a struggle to get our big luggage up when we checked in and was also very hard getting it down when we checked out. Regarding the location, it’s very near the museums but a bit far from the red light district area. But the tram stop is a few mins walk, so you can get the tram. Overall, it’s ok. If you’re travelling solo, this is a good and affordable option.

The service was very good, nice personnel at the front desk, the room was cleaned every day and so on. Very good location near the city center and therefore I can kinda understand the price of the room etc My room was on the 3rd floor, the elevator only goes to the 2nd floor, not really a big deal but a bit weird. Don't get me wrong, the room itself felt clean and fresh, nothing to complain about there besides that the shower pressure was insanly low, sometimes the water just stopped running at all during a shower... But the big issue is the size of the room itself and what you get for over a €100 a night, I booked a single room for one person, and the room feels like it's built around the frame of the bed, the room is incredible small, smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in and the most expensive one as well. The bathroom is so small that the toilet is placed just behind the sink so you barely have room to actually sit on the toilet, and the glass door to the shower can only be opened on one side... the side where the sink is so you have about 30cm of room to get out of the shower because the sink is in the way... Like I said, the room felt clean and fresh, but it is ridiculously small. Overall a good stay, the room was good enough for sleeping in but for the size of the room and what you pay for it doesn't really add up, over a €100 a night for a room barely bigger than the bed itself is kinda weird.

Li & Dillon made this 10 day stay so welcoming that they made it hard to leave Amsterdam. They provided tourist sites’ walking & transit directions, recommended restaurants, made our taxi and restaurant reservations, and even ordered UBER Eats. All with affection and care for our well being. Housekeeping Staff also excellent. The hotel is within walking distance of many prime sites to visit. In our 10 days we walked to Van Gogh, RIJS, Vondelpark, Anne Frank house & many more.

We had a really lovely experience at de bedstee which exceeded our expectations. The capsule was much more spacious than we expected (I’m around 5 ft 5 and could kneel) and the air conditioning kept it nice and cool. The double bed was very comfortable with multiple plug sockets and adjustable LED lights and there was enough space on a shelving unit to keep your bags and shoes in - the capsule is obviously lockable so keeps your belongings safe. The wifi was excellent. Also came with dressing gowns and towels for the communal bathrooms. The bathroom was very clean and well equipped with soap, shower gel shampoo and hairdryers. We had a stressful journey with our flight being cancelled and then rebooked with multiple delays, and the staff were very accommodating to this and let us check in very late at night with no additional cost. The only thing is that we were on the top ‘bunk’ which made it a little tricky to climb up the ladder into the capsule but this was not a deal breaker. Location was good, 20-30 min walk into the centre of amsterdam. Would definitely stay here again!!

It ’s so cute. If it ’s not a taxi pick-up, it should be hard to find. There is no signboard. There is a welcome drink .. The food is ok, but the room is very small enough to leave without room for luggage. The floor to the other side has to take a narrow staircase, it is very difficult for girls to carry luggage. A little overpriced .. Although the hotels are expensive during the exhibition, but the city center hotels at the same price, the rooms are mostly large.

Excellent experience, very good welcome, very friendly staff, the room was very nice and spacious, the bed was very comfortable and in the bathroom there was everything you could need, I recommend it 100%

We arrived early (about 11.30am) to leave our bags but we were kindly offered a room that was available straight away which was very kind. Our room was clean and spacious. Nice clean linen and comfy beds with a nice view of the Main Street. Air con/heating worked well. No street noise at night that I noticed although we were on the 4th floor. All staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly. Lovely free coffee in reception area. Great budget hotel in an excellent location. Will definitely stay here again

Definitely one of the coolest hostel I’ve been. Super cool stuff,easy and fast check in and out , great facilities,bar ,coffee shop , hall area super chill atmosphere. I am very satisfied with my stay in this hostel and with reception staff. Location is perfect too . I had lovely stay and will definitely come again and recommend it to everyone. Only one thing is not good ,check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am 😭 that’s kinda annoying 🤷♀️ but all other things are just great 🤩🤍

I chose this hôtel as I was travelling from the UK to see Dépêche Mode at the Ziggo Dome. And stayed two nights. Jaz in the City is just steps away from the Ziggo entrance so you can’t get any closer! It’s also great as a base for Amsterdam sightseeing. From the airport there’s a direct train (hotel is a 10-15 min walk from Bijlmer ArenA station). You can also hop on the metro here for a 20 min ride to Centraal. As Amsterdams public transport is so good (compared to Bristol in the UK where I live) you can confidently rely on it to get you wherever you need to be efficiently! Staff at the hotel are super friendly and helpful. From front desk, bar, restaurant and housekeeping. Everyone (thankfully) spoke English which is ideal for me as I can just about say hello and thank you in Dutch! Special shout out to Mr Omelette Maker at breakfast. The perfect start to a day of sightseeing!! I’m sure they’re are cheaper options but I’m of an age where I understand that you get what you pay for. This hotel in my opinion is great. It looks good, is super clean and well maintained and importantly ＜feels＞ good.
