The location of the hotel is absolutely in the city center. The room is spacious and beautiful. It is a pleasure to sit on the balcony and watch the canal. The service is superb. The old doorman is a gentleman, and the receptionist is very polite. The bathroom is large, and the bedding in the room is superb, very comfortable. It gets dark at half past ten in the summer here, and the beautiful bells echo in the night sky. Special reminder: This hotel can check out at 4 pm.

I’ve never written a review before. But I think that this hotel was so delightful (and reasonably priced), maybe I should. Best thing about the place? The cheerful staff. Especially Precious, in the breakfast room, who anticipated our every need — with a smile. And Iago (spelling?), the bartender, was amazing. Loved it here.

Great location, near to food places and the canal. The only time it was inconvenient is over the weekends when the close off the roads after 10.30pm till 7am the next morning so taxi or ubers can't drop you off at your hotel lobby, so something to be wary of when checking in or out with huge luggages over the weekend. Nothing to complain about the hotel itself however, will definitely be back!

If you are traveling by car, the hotel also has a parking service, with a parking space of 90 euros a day, and will help us wash and clean the garbage in the car for free. Hotel 717 lives up to its buzz and in fact, exceeded our expectations. From start to finish our stay was delightful. We were greeted warmly at the front doorstep and treated to a welcome cocktail after checking in. The property is beautiful! Expertly curated with whimsical, decorative details throughout. Our room was spacious, and the bed + bedding were sublime. Staff was exceptionally kind, with extra special praise earned by Camilla and Wolf who went above and beyond for us! It was quite difficult to leave Hotel 717, although the send-off tin of cookies eased our sadness and heightened our hopes to return asap. Thank you, Hotel 717! We are grateful for you all!

Excellent location, could walk to every “tourist” place. . Plenty of restaurants and bars right outside the doors! The breakfast at the hotel was great with lots of options and the staff very accommodating! Pastry chef is outstanding..deserves a raise!! Croissants the lightest fluffiest ever! Everything tastes as good as it looks! Front desk staff very nice, Sarah went out of her way to “fix” a minor problem and continued ask if everything was ok each time she saw us. Rooms clean and roomy, beds comfortable would stay again if ever in Amsterdam and recommend this hotel to anyone who asks! Transportation from airport is a little pricey (taxi for 4 ..70-100 euros depending on traffic ) but once you are there no need to use again.

The location is fantastic, the ground station is the ground station, only 4 stops from the central station. Downstairs are all restaurants and bars, food quality is not bad, many attractions can actually be reached on foot, although the room is on the street, but the sound insulation is quite good, the counter staff is very cordial and polite, much worse than Paris! If you have the chance to come to Amsterdam again, you will stay again!

Hotel location was good as it is in the central area to almost all activities that we went. But however, hotel room service did not help us to empty our toilet trash bin every single day despite that we gave tips everyday, so I'm not sure how clean exactly is their room service. Bring extra cash for hotel tax and deposits as we were only told on the 1st night of checking in when the recept call up to our room to ask us to go to the reception to pay for our hotel tax and deposit, where only the deposits will be refunded upon checking out if you did not consume their in-room beverages or destroy their hotel etc. Hotel location is very near to 2 super mart, and also the ******** coffee shop, cafe and restaurants, not very convenient for kids as every where smells of ********. Breakfast was super good spread, large varieties, we love it.

Set right next to the best part of the city, Leidseplein which is very well connected to all the notable landmarks including walkable distance to both the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum as well as the famous Voldelpark. The hotel has very modern interiors and all the facilities to make ones stay comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious unlike the other European hotels. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful. There are 100's of restaurants serving all types of food and all are within walking distance from the hotel. Getting to Dam Square which is the shopping hub and Amsterdam Central station is just a single tram ride. Overall, the hotel is very clean and comfortable and nothing can beat the convenient location of this hotel.

We spent the night at the Hotel so we could dine at Senses restaurant - food is amazing! Hotel was very quiet due to Covid and was following all the necessary restrictions. The staff were kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and our 'Comfy' room, adequate. Our room flooded and we were given an upgrade. Frankly, our first room was better appointed and not such an odd shape. Breakfast was a let down. The choice was limited and not great quality as the cold meats, smoked salmon and viennoiserie were poor. They had a 'live' cooking section for eggs. Everything was overcooked and the space reeked of browning butter. However, the staff were lovely and the 24/7 bar was a welcome touch.

This review is a bit divided in the sense that the hotel is very central to pretty well all you want to see. But it is not for those who have mobility problems as the first thing you are faced with before even seeing reception is a very steep flight of 15 or so steps which you have to get your suitcase up with! However reception staff are extremely helpful and kind and could not have done too much for us The building is a real Amsterdam tall house and as a result is a warren of rooms and corridors and steep flights of stairs. Most rooms do not have ensuite. It is slightly shabby and the decor is a bit old fashioned but it all seemed clean Breakfast was ok but not amazing However the warmth and kindness of the staff did so much to make our stay enjoyable

I booked a river view room, the river view is very beautiful, open the window, you will feel the world is very beautiful! This is a small hotel, by the canal, the room area is not big, it is a small sparrow, it has all the internal organs, anyway, the facilities are not new, the toilet is relatively simple, it can only be considered barely acceptable. . The uncle at the front desk was pretty good, and I couldn't see it on the TV. There is nothing else to say.
