Hotels in Seminyak, Bali

The hotel location is Ok.. Family friendly.. Staff are exceptionally helpful and good.. But the hotel is Run down.. The room we were allocated..did not have hotwater fro 4 days out of 5 days we stayed... But the staff did bring in buckets of water for our need.. Not ideal..there is no shuttle from the hotel to anywhere... Their lift is down and have to climb lots of steps.. Their kitchen is not operational..so no food at the hotel ..but there are good eating places around within20 mins walking distance.. Although not ideal.. OK. Special mention to staff.. Amir, Azeem and Dewi...they are very good and helpful.

I really enjoyed my stay. During my check in process, the receptionist was very helpful and welcoming, the service is great. The room got great pool view. There is a guy that works at the restaurant which I believe is the manager his services is absolutely fantastic as well. I’m going out early morning around 6am and they prepackaged my breakfast for me. The room conditions overall is good. There are some minors issue such as the location which is in the middle of no where and there is not much things which is walking distance. Also, the lift doesn’t requires access card which I find it a bit insecure and the walking distance from lift to room is quite far. Overall, I would consider staying in this hotel again in the future as it is really worth the price.

When we first got to our room, unfortunately the air con was broken with water all over the floor, the staff came and mopped it up and left a bucket to catch the water, as we went to shower we noticed the towels were stained and ripped, 3 hours after we had checked in, we were told we had been complimentary upgraded! Which was amazing, the staff took our stuff to our new room, and we had a huge suite which was 10x better than the room before clean towels, cleaner area,a separate kitchen area to the bedroom and was 50Sqf in all. The Staff were so lovely and kind and really turned the unfortunate vibe of what we had checked into around! Location wise, there was not much within walking distance however the hotel offers bikes to rent for cheap to head into the busier part of seminyak.

I chose Sense Seminyak Hotel mainly because of its strategic location—it’s right in front of Eiger and adidas stores, which made shopping super convenient for me. After that, I easily took a Gojek ride to Seminyak Beach to catch the sunset. The location is definitely a big plus, with everything you need nearby. It’s also a popular choice among travelers because the price is very reasonable for what you get. A great option if you’re looking for convenience, good value, and easy access to shopping and the beach!

Overall it was an pleasant stay, would recommend to friends or family who staying in Seminyak area, we stayed 3 nights, didn't really have a chance to use the pool on the rooftop and only have a chance to take the breakfast on the last day due to our tour itinerary to Ubud and Nusa island were both leaving early in the morning (the kitchen was a bit slow, probably they were running low on staff due to low season) ໂດຍລວມຫ້ອງພັກກໍ່ຖືວ່າຄຸ້ມລາຄາເງິນທີ່ເຮົາຈ່າຍໄປ, ຫ້ອງນ້ອຍກະທັດຮັດ ຕົກແຕ່ງໂອເຄ ຢູ່ບໍ່ໄກຈາກຮ້ານອາຫານ ແລະ ຊາຍຫາດ

I had an excellent stay at Viva Dash Hotel in Bali. The location is perfect: it’s close to lively streets and popular night clubs, yet the rooms are incredibly quiet—I couldn’t hear any traffic or street noise at all. The room itself was great, with a very efficient air conditioning system and a smart TV that allowed for easy Netflix and YouTube streaming. The Wi-Fi connection was also fast and reliable. A major highlight for me was the rooftop pool; it was rarely crowded, making it the perfect spot to relax with a book. The ground-floor pool also looked very inviting and was clearly popular with other guests. The staff truly deserves a special mention. They are all incredibly friendly, smiling, and always eager to help with restaurant recommendations or directions. As for the facilities, the hotel is kept very clean, and I appreciated that fresh towels were provided daily. They even offer a convenient service where you can pick up a beach towel at the front desk in exchange for holding your room key—it’s a stress-free solution that saved me from carrying extra items or leaving my ID behind when heading to beach clubs. The only minor detail is that the shower water takes a moment to warm up, but this is truly insignificant given the overall quality of the hotel. Everything was perfect, and I highly recommend it!

Amalfi Hotel is fine if you’re travelling solo and just want a cheap place to sleep while you’re out exploring most of the time. The room is very small, so it’s not really somewhere you’d want to spend a lot of time in, but the bed was clean, the air-con worked well, and the location is decent. There was quite a bit of construction happening during our stay that we weren’t told about, and it started early in the morning, which wasn’t ideal. We had a few maintenance issues. The shower flooded the first time I used it but to their credit it was fixed quickly. The shower head wasn’t secured to the wall which made showering awkward, and on the last day the bathroom fan started leaking. There was also some mould in the bathroom and on the body wash containers, which look like they’re refilled but not properly cleaned. That said, the staff were genuinely lovely and helpful whenever something came up. Overall, if you’re a solo traveller looking for a cheap room in a decent spot and just need a comfortable bed to crash in after a day out, it does the job. Just don’t expect a full holiday-style hotel experience.

The front desk staff were lovely and always smiling. They were also very kind when it suddenly started raining and lent me an umbrella. However, the toilet door didn't close properly and the floor in the room felt a bit dirty.

Overall, a great experience! The staff were all incredibly enthusiastic. I had informed the hotel of my accommodation preferences in advance, and they had everything arranged perfectly, which was very satisfying. The location is also excellent, very close to the beach but without the noise of beach clubs. It's a convenient 5-6 minute walk from the hotel to the beach. The check-out process was also very accommodating; our flight back home was late, and the hotel allowed us to relax in the retreat lounge for a long time. As for cons, on our first morning at breakfast, the hostess seemed a bit impatient because we initially couldn't decide where we wanted to sit.

The staff service is very friendly and good here! Very recommend to stay at this hotel as their location is very convenient! Opposite has many many marts and pharmacies, easy to walk and buy things you need! They also have provide laundry service which can get your clothes in 24 hours and charge about 30k for 1kg. They also will top up mineral water and all the tea, toothbrush every day. Will definitely stay here again in the future!
