The hotel itself is very good. It has a large and beautiful pool (open until dark), a lush green area, and excellent, varied breakfasts. It's located close to supermarkets and not far from Icon Mall. The pathways are paved, and there are cafes and souvenir shops nearby. But… There's no proper door for the bathroom; instead, there are semi-transparent doors for the toilet and shower. Essentially, even to change clothes, you have to hide in the toilet, which is inconvenient. There was a small sofa for the child, but no bedding or towels. We asked for them, and they were brought after a second request. Two staff members came and made the bed with four hands, even though we could have done it ourselves. The pool seemed clean, but the water appeared cloudy with an oily film on the surface, perhaps from sunscreen? It was like that in the evening and hadn't changed by the morning. There's a private beach area with sun loungers, and towels are provided for both the beach and the pool. Overall, the impression is very good, and we would return here if we knew the sea wasn't always so shallow. It was quite difficult to swim. The staff is very customer-oriented. They are accommodating and allow guests to store their luggage. Generally, hotel staff in Bali are friendly and diligent.

I stayed for a week in room 109, which is the furthest from the road. While I could still hear traffic noise, it wasn't a major issue for me. The room is spacious with plenty of room. There's a space that seems to have been intended for a kitchen, but now it only has a sink and shelves. The wardrobes are convenient, and one of them locked. There's also a fridge and a great working desk with an office chair. The location is decent, about a 15-minute walk to the beach. However, if you don't have a motorbike, crossing the main road can be a bit tricky due to the active traffic. On the downside, there were a lot of gnats in the room. The staff tried to help and used bug spray, but the gnats proved quite resilient. Housekeeping was always done upon request; I'd hang the 'please clean' sign on the door. If they saw me outside, they'd always ask if I needed cleaning. The towels were indeed old and a bit grey, but they were always clean.

On the positive side, the location is great—very close to the beach (although the beach itself isn’t the cleanest). The room was spacious—we booked the Studio 40—and it felt comfortable for our stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, especially the team at the restaurant. Service here really stood out. The coffee was also excellent, as they use Expat beans. There are a couple of things that could be improved. The foyer floor in the room was quite slippery. We asked for it to be cleaned, but it remained slippery afterward. Also, the room table had sharp edges, which was a concern for us as our child bumped into it twice—something to be mindful of if you’re traveling with kids. Overall, we were happy with our stay, especially compared to another hotelS we stayed at afterward in Canggu. The service here made a big difference.

Prama Sanur Beach Bali is an established resort offering great value for money. Its biggest draw is the private beachfront, perfect for catching stunning sunrises, cycling, and enjoying water sports right from the hotel. The pool is large and surrounded by lush greenery. However, since the hotel has been around for a while, the rooms and bathrooms show their age. Overall, it's a good choice for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize a wide range of facilities and relaxing sea views, and aren't overly particular about the newest amenities.

The staff were wonderful and always smiling. The room was spacious and clean. I really liked the large balcony, and it was a plus that I could smoke there. The pool was also comfortable and clean. The breakfast had fewer options, but it was perfectly satisfactory for a short stay. There's a Japanese restaurant on-site, and plenty of other dining options nearby. A convenience store is just a minute's walk away. The beach is a 10-minute walk, so a motorbike taxi is recommended. You'll definitely be amazed by the sunrise! Overall, it offers great value for money.

I stayed at Four Star by Trans Hotel Bali for a conference last February 6-9, 2026, and overall, it was a solid experience. I booked a Superior Twin Room, which I would rate around 8/10. The space was comfortable enough, clean, and suitable for resting after long conference days. Not overly luxurious, but it delivered what I needed. One thing I genuinely appreciated was the staff. They were consistently warm, approachable, and quick to assist. You can feel that hospitality is part of their culture, not just a routine. The location worked very well for my purpose. Since I was attending a conference, accessibility was a huge factor, and the hotel made it easy to move around without stress. For the breakfast buffet, it was decent. Nothing extravagant, but enough variety to start the day properly. A small downside would be the bathroom drainage. The floor tends to flood a bit during showers, which can be inconvenient if you are in a hurry. The highlight of my stay was definitely the awards night. The ambiance and overall experience added a memorable touch to the trip, making the stay more meaningful beyond just accommodation. Overall, I would give this hotel a 4 out of 5. It offers a good balance of comfort, service, and location. I would still recommend it, especially for travelers attending events or conferences nearby.

The front desk service was excellent, truly outstanding. All the essential facilities were available. This hotel's overall service definitely exceeded my expectations. I would certainly book here again.

Overall, a really pleasant stay. The biggest highlight is the location,4ight on the beach, which gives the resort a super relaxed, laid-back vibe. It’s also conveniently located with plenty of good restaurants nearby, so you don’t feel isolated. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. A couple of things to note: There’s no gym, which might matter if you’re planning longer stays or want to keep up a routine. The vibe is definitely more suited for families or older travelers. It’s quiet and chill — not really a spot if you’re looking for a younger, more social or party atmosphere. Summary: Great beachfront resort with a calm, easygoing vibe. Best for relaxing stays rather than high-energy trips.

Location is good, if you plan to go Nusa Penida early morning this hotel is your answer, public area and room is ok specially i love pools, they have 2 pools but like the one depth 4 meters, but service not ok, it was raining when i checked in so one lady she brought 2 umbrellas but she didn’t put it up, almost my room she just ask, communication not good, I booked on 21-23 April but my flight is cancelled so i tried to email them but email is wrong, i send someone to the hotel and ask if i can check in on 22 April because flight is cancelled but she said i need to book again, so i book another booking, when i check in on 22 April, reception ask me why do i have 2 booking.. another then that The Cakra is good place to stay.
