We stayed for two days, first in a family room and then in a double room. Both were very spacious. There were some mosquitoes, so mosquito spray is recommended. The breakfast was excellent and varied, even offering local snake fruit and sweet ginger drinks. A special mention goes to the hotel's swimming pools – one is 3 meters deep and the other 4 meters, perfect for practicing snorkeling and even diving, and the lanes are quite long. The welcome drinks and snacks were great; I even bought two more boxes. However, I wouldn't recommend the nearby Japanese restaurant; the salmon wasn't fresh, and it was very expensive.

Prama Sanur Beach Bali is an established resort offering great value for money. Its biggest draw is the private beachfront, perfect for catching stunning sunrises, cycling, and enjoying water sports right from the hotel. The pool is large and surrounded by lush greenery. However, since the hotel has been around for a while, the rooms and bathrooms show their age. Overall, it's a good choice for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize a wide range of facilities and relaxing sea views, and aren't overly particular about the newest amenities.

This is an excellent hotel for a couple of days, a great option for an overnight stay after a long flight. We walked directly from the airport, not taking the detour shown on maps, but the shortest route. It turned out to be quite inconvenient, especially with luggage, as there's practically no sidewalk and it's difficult to cross the road to the hotel side – there are no traffic lights nearby (and traffic is heavy even at night). The hotel itself is excellent, with beautiful grounds and a pool (part of the pool was under renovation). There were definitely free sun loungers in the morning. The breakfast buffet was decent, with enough options and a good selection of fruits. The room was perfectly fine, with some minor scuffs on the wooden interior, but still cozy and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Well. A bit confused with the layout of the building and the room. The hallway was coated with carpet and it was not clean and smelly. The entrance of the bathroom was weird and narrow. The towels didn't look clean and after asking the new ones, we reveived the same looking towel. Maybe they were just old. We can smell bleach on the bedsheet. But, 5 stars for the staffs, they were friendly and acomodating a lot. Location was great, perhaps 2-3 mins from the beacg with bike. And it was nit noisy although it was right beside the main road.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to others. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Their professionalism and warm hospitality really stood out. The breakfast buffet was another highlight of my stay. There was a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to choose from, catering to different tastes, and everything was well-presented and replenished regularly. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant experience, and I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at Four Star by Trans Hotel Bali for a conference last February 6-9, 2026, and overall, it was a solid experience. I booked a Superior Twin Room, which I would rate around 8/10. The space was comfortable enough, clean, and suitable for resting after long conference days. Not overly luxurious, but it delivered what I needed. One thing I genuinely appreciated was the staff. They were consistently warm, approachable, and quick to assist. You can feel that hospitality is part of their culture, not just a routine. The location worked very well for my purpose. Since I was attending a conference, accessibility was a huge factor, and the hotel made it easy to move around without stress. For the breakfast buffet, it was decent. Nothing extravagant, but enough variety to start the day properly. A small downside would be the bathroom drainage. The floor tends to flood a bit during showers, which can be inconvenient if you are in a hurry. The highlight of my stay was definitely the awards night. The ambiance and overall experience added a memorable touch to the trip, making the stay more meaningful beyond just accommodation. Overall, I would give this hotel a 4 out of 5. It offers a good balance of comfort, service, and location. I would still recommend it, especially for travelers attending events or conferences nearby.

A cozy, small hotel with a pleasant pool area. The rooms need some updating, but are very clean. Breakfasts were good in the restaurant on the ground floor, and we also went there for dinner; the food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy. The hotel is located near the beach, but it's not suitable for swimming and often has an unpleasant odor. I'd like to especially thank the hotel staff for their friendliness and willingness to help with any questions.

It is always a roll of the dice when booking accommodation in Bali for me. Of course you can spend $AU300 p/n upwards and most probably find a nice bed. However, I look for reasonably priced accommodation with a touch of $300 p/n fit out. This property has that and more.. Im fact, I prefer this family feeling in beautifully appointed surroundings. I can as a well seasoned traveller (Im old-ish) give this property, staff and owner my highest recommendation. Travel safe.

On the positive side, the location is great—very close to the beach (although the beach itself isn’t the cleanest). The room was spacious—we booked the Studio 40—and it felt comfortable for our stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, especially the team at the restaurant. Service here really stood out. The coffee was also excellent, as they use Expat beans. There are a couple of things that could be improved. The foyer floor in the room was quite slippery. We asked for it to be cleaned, but it remained slippery afterward. Also, the room table had sharp edges, which was a concern for us as our child bumped into it twice—something to be mindful of if you’re traveling with kids. Overall, we were happy with our stay, especially compared to another hotelS we stayed at afterward in Canggu. The service here made a big difference.
