The room was really maintained. It was a bit chilly as the radiator seemed out of order. But overall the amenities were sufficient. The availability of hot kettle with tea and coffees were really convenient. I'd love to stay again sometime.(picture below is the view from our room)

There is a little distance from the sights and places to eat, walking during the day is fine, and the night is a bit desolate. excellent service. If you don't arrive at the check-in time, you can store your luggage first, and check-out time is earlier, but you can also leave your luggage when you return. The room was not big, but it was very comfortable. Will consider coming back.

I was surprised to have booked an authentic British-style hotel with a history of more than 200 years. Clean, tidy, bright and elegant, the quilt is warm and the heating is sufficient. I ordered breakfast included. Breakfast is very formally ordered from the menu. It is worth more than 20 pounds and is very delicious. I think the price/performance ratio is high.
The hotel is very close to the Royal Crescent, but there is a long slope. It is a bit difficult to carry suitcases with you. It is good if you have a car.
The Best Western Limpley Stoke Hotel is a magnificent 18th Century country house. The hotel enjoys a tranquil village location, yet lies just a 10-minute drive away from Bath and its natural hot springs. With a truly romantic setting, the hotel is ideal for short breaks and long weekends, though thanks to this wonderful location you might be tempted to stay a few more nights.
Peace and quiet are ever present at the Best Western Limpley Stoke Hotel. The superbly appointed lounges, open log fires and comfortable bedrooms all see to that, whilst many of these bedrooms boast outstanding view across the Avon Valley. Originally built in the 18th Century, this country mansion is as splendid as ever, with guests enjoying the serenity of a quiet location as well as the convenience of a hotel near Bath.
Of course, as one of the countrys oldest cities dating back to Roman times, Bath is full of historic buildings and ruins, gardens and, of course, the Baths themselves. However, with such spectacular views from the hotel, the Best Western Limpley Stoke offers a host of its own sightseeing opportunities.

The hotel is close to the University of Bath, but a little far from the city center of Bath; if you are traveling by car, it is not recommended to book; self-driving travel is recommended, the room is very good. good external environment

A lovely building with a nice forecourt area, reception was very welcoming, bright and cheerful. All the staff we spoke to were lovely and helpful. The only bad point was not having a car park, but they do offer discount on the nearby public car parks.

Not only was the room perfect (comfy, clean, spacious) The staff were absolutely amazing. Breakfast top notch too. One of the best hotel stays I have ever had. Infact, the staff were so kind and understanding, that when I had to get admitted to hospital they extended our stay *for free* for an extra 3 days, and said we could stay as long as we needed until I got better. Truly so grateful for all their help and they deserve the best review I can give. Thank you Holiday Inn express! We are so grateful for your hospitality and compassion, would not know what we would have done without your kindness xx

Outstanding
Everything here was perfect. We had a superior double and it was beautiful. The bathroom had all the amenities you get at a five star hotel. On arrival in the room there is fresh milk, coffee, tea, biscuits and cakes for you. Netflix is provided which is great for when you get back at night to chill. The room was quiet, we did not hear any noise the whole time we were there. Toni is great at giving you advice of where to go and how to get there. The breakfast was delicious and all cooked fresh. If you want a beautiful place to stay and want to be local, do not hesitate book Chestnuts you will not be disappointed.
AAnikeBathen House is simply phenomenal from the mixture of old and modern aesthetic that screams class, elegance and luxury to the squeaky clean, serene environment and the oh so polite staff that were always available to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible. It was such a remarkable experience and I would definitely go back again. I absolutely loved my stay at Bathen House and I swill always recommend. It was the best Easter Holiday and Experience.
曾曾The location of the hotel is very good, just inside the Crescent Building, we ordered room delivery on the day, the room service was good & # 128077; but there was no Chinese courtesy in the promotion: the kettle in the room was a phone call and the waiter delivered it In the past, the so-called Chinese logo was also limited to no smoking and no Chinese facilities list. We called our front desk without a Wi-Fi signal before changing our room, and our check-in experience on the day was not good. : Because it rained, we arrived a little earlier (hotel check-in was at 3 pm) and had been waiting in the lobby for nearly two hours before proper check-in was made. Check-in took place during the period when seven or eight foreign tourists arrived. During the check-in process for them, I was puzzled. I went to the front desk twice to ask. Their answers were different rooms for the guests and us. Their room types were taken care of, and our room was not good. It was a coincidence. That day, so many batches of tourists were so lucky that none of them stayed in our room type. We also encountered bad conditions when we arrived early when traveling abroad, but the hotel Let ’s wait a bit, and deal with it as soon as possible, so that guests can check in as soon as possible (except for the large resort hotel where there are many guests, the cleaners are too busy, and it may not be possible to check in early). According to my observation, this hotel Not so large, but it really made us wait for three points, not a minute ahead of time, unfortunately we do n’t agree with this hotel, and we ca n’t reach the service concept of a five-star hotel
SSkyshanghaiSumptuous would be the word to describe this hotel. From the lobby to the room to the free snacks pantry, everything is sumptuous. The room we booked is absolutely huge with high ceilings and large windows. The bed and bedding is super super comfortable and we slept really well. The bathroom is nice with a big tub. Location is also excellent, minutes from downtown, the bridge and Roman baths. Looking forward to staying here again.
余余The hotel is huge! It is located on a small hillside in the outskirts of Bath. The scenery is pleasant. At night, you can overlook the night view of Bath and see the stars. Convenient transportation, the hotel is on the main road to the center of Bath, and the highway from the city is also very close. There is a lot of free parking for self-driving. There are a number of bus lines directly to the city centre of Bath next to the hotel. It is convenient to have buses from morning to night. The hotel is large, with many rooms, clean and comfortable, and soundproof. The rooms are modern and fully equipped, and the mattress pillows are comfortable. The hot and cold water pressure in the bathroom is very stable, and there are many tea and coffee options in the mini bar in the room. The closet has a sense of opening and closing the door, so I thought very carefully. The wireless network is stable and there are many choices for TV stations. Breakfast selection. The service staff was very kind and caring. I will choose to stay at this hotel in the future.
ZZhanqianyingSmall luxury hotel I feel relieved to see that it is SLH, but it is unusually understaffed. From check-in to dining in the restaurant, you have to wait, wait, wait. If you don’t understand English, please don’t come. Most of the employees look like college students who work part-time and cannot solve the problem alone. question.
The restaurant and bar are good, the room is very big, you need to take the stairs to the first floor, and the bathroom is half a floor up. The swimming pool is small and there are many people. There is a sauna, but it was useless because the temperature was 30 degrees on the day of arrival.
Charging the tram is also very funny. It took a long time to fully charge it.
GGuest UserJust returned from a 2 night stay and the hotel was spot on ! I had to ring the evening before as I had booked the wrong date, Sam was super helpful and continued to be so when we checked in the following day and he was on reception, greeted me as a gold member . He had a room ready and offered an early check in, and even accommodated ensuring I had a quiet room. Breakfast was better than expected considering it was included, and there were plenty of extra tea bags and coffee sachets by the lifts if you needed more for your room. Staff were friendly and room was basic but comfortable - as advertised ! Big thanks to Sam, as this trip could have started very differently ….. Will definitely work myself back to platinum with IHG now. :-)
GGuest UserAt first check-in, staff said my booking’s payment was failed, I showed my booking confirmation with clearly stated payment successful, then he printed a confirmation for me to sign but I found that’s another one’s booking… totally another name…
The 2nd print out was just showing my name without another personal information and I was told it’s okay to sign…
Once I entered my room, there’s no bath tub, I called the concierge and claimed that when I booked this room type, photo clearly showed there’s bath tub and that’s why I chose this more expensive room type, staff just told me only Superior King room type offered bath tub…
When I tried to take a shower, there’s no shower gel & face tissue in the toilet… what a big surprise that a so called 4 stars hotel could provide such service standard…
I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel to anyone going to BATH for a visit…
And what’s more, this is my Birthday trip with more than 3 hrs drive from the North, they really gave me a BIG surprise!!
小小源kwThe hotel service is first-rate, the front desk staff is super nice, the lady will chat with you by the way, if necessary, a cup of tea and coffee will be made during the waiting time, especially sweet. I was worried about the room’s small and specially set standard room. When I entered the room, I felt that the space was quite large. We brought two 28-inch boxes and there was no problem at all. We ordered the main course for breakfast according to the menu. The buffet cakes were very authentic. The style, Egg Benedict is very good, but don’t try blood pudding lightly. I am not used to it no matter how many times I eat it. Bath is very small and all attractions can be reached on foot. The hotel is 7-8 minutes walk from the Roman baths, bath abbey is opposite the baths, and the famous thermae bath spa is 3 minutes away from abbey. The house of Jane Austen and the fashion meseum are on the same road, even the farthest The Royal Crescent is only a 15-minute walk away.
It should be noted that the check-in time is after 3 pm and check-out before 11 am. Although the time is a bit tight, this service is really the best in the English-style hotel I have ever stayed in. When we put down the suitcase and go When we turn to the city, we have already put it in the room when we come back. When we check out, we will chat with the young lady at the front desk. Not only will I give you travel suggestions but also recommend the hotel to you, we talked about our trips, no I feel that I am staying in a hotel, it is very warm, highly recommended😉
GGuest UserPositives - excellent receptionist (Vipin) and without his help I would have probably checked out early. Has parking. Reasonable location and access into central Bath. Has an electric kettle and a pack of cookies.
Not so positives - In desperate need of upgrade, creaking floors, wash basin outside the bathroom. It isn’t for work related travellers as you cannot even use an iron without tripping off the entire building main switch and once that happen there is no 24 hour active reception. No fan or iron provided in room so you have to ask. Tiny computer monitor used as a make shift TV that you have to pull out of a closet. No drinking water in room. Value for money not there as many better locations available at same or lower price.
