It’s a hostel, but we booked private rooms. No aircon, but the rooms were big and had windows that opened. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Complementary breakfast (we stayed over a weekend, which I believe is when it’s available) with dietary considerations (soya milk, GF bread offered in addition to the regular stuff) accounted for. Very much appreciated, as was the filtered water station and ice machine.

Akos at reception on arrival was magnificent, very friendly and helpful. He made me feel at home, he is an asset to the YMCA, look after him.

Great little hostal hidden in the middle of Bath. Great helpful service and rooms quite confortable.
The kitchen is great, and it is packed with all the utensils you would need.

Nice quiet place with a private room and a view. I did have trouble finding it,; it's hidden inside a courtyard. Otherwise, no hassles.

Accomodation was cheap however it was unclean, particularly on the floors and in the top level bathroom. Very noisy at night if in a room facing Broad Street.

The room was really maintained. It was a bit chilly as the radiator seemed out of order. But overall the amenities were sufficient. The availability of hot kettle with tea and coffees were really convenient. I'd love to stay again sometime.(picture below is the view from our room)

It has a kitchen, but sleeping in the middle bunk is too tiring and I can't even lift my head.

The location is convenient, the quad room is not noisy and relatively quiet. The downside is that the restaurant smells a lot and someone is baking chicken wings, etc. The upside is the price is cheap. Ctrip check-in was smooth
