I stayed for 5 nights recently.  The room was spotless and comfortable. Service and attentiveness was great, as was the breakfast!

I booked at the briardene due to my family using this hotel for functions in the past so I knew it was a good place to stay. The gent at the front desk was so kind and helpful from the get go. Room was really nice and cosy with everything I needed for an overnight stay. 100% will be back again in the future!

A decent place to spend the night. Very narrow stairs though.

What a gem of a hotel! Needed to stay in Cleveleys for a family event and booked dinner, bed and breakfast here. Friendly and helpful staff, incredible standards of housekeeping and cleanliness, comfortable, well equipped bedroom with spacious bathroom (Room 11), and an excellent dinner. A small menu but all cooked to order by a chef who knows what they are doing. Lovely breakfast too. Bit disappointed not to be nearer the promenade ( a 10 minute walk), but so convenient for trams and buses, and used a great local taxi firm (Cleveleys Taxis).  No lift, so if you aren’t great with stairs ask for a first floor room.

Comfortable hotel, decent value (they all seems to be very expensive these days), good location, very friendly check-in, rooms clean and well equipped, comfortable bed, surprisingly quiet given the frontal location and a sensible option for the Fleetwood/Blackpool area. Only potential downside was no lifts, so be aware that stairs is the only option to get to the upper floors.
