Hotels in Seo-gu, Busan

The hotel was wonderful! Staff is very friendly and was able to let me check in early. The room and bathroom are really spacious and the bed was one of the most comfortable I got in Korea. The location is amazing as the beach is right down the street. And right up the street you have a bus stop for the city center that runs really regularly. I had a wonderful stay, they might just want to replace their bath towels. They are clean but fraying.

View - If you are keen in wharf / harbor view, this hotel (see images) is along the harbour next to wharf, Songdo, so there is no beach on the wharf. At 4am you can hear commotion at the wharf, interesting for a different view from city or sea view. Nearest Songdo beach is still at distance, it is not at door step. Booked a large room for family of 4, comes with 1 Queen bed, 1 single, the last pax ended on the floor with Futons. (Although I indicated i had 4 pax, housekeeper does not seem to be aware, replenishes only for 3 pax?). Small hand towels are issued as bath towel, just be aware. Quite common for smaller hotel accommodation here (inn, AirBnB). Floor heater, water heater works, daily housekeeping. Has bath tub not used at all for winter. Good balcony for sitting in the cold to watch the wharf bustle. Pax using futon had a few bites by bugs, not sure if flew in from outside the room, else the room is clean. Nice open terrace at roof top with telescope to look into Lotte mall at distance, and the open sea after the bridge on the right. Complimentary breakfast offering at basement kitchen is available until 9AM (not 9.30am) - kitchen staff will remind you to finish up at close to 9am, and please clear your dishes at collection area, discard leftovers, return cultery, utensils. Breakfast spread : Cereal with milk (only on weekend), ONE slice of toast with jam, egg/s, one fruit or yoghurt, one coffee/tea, ONE juice, one instant noodles (if you want). Only tried for first morning, other mornings has similar menu on the wall. Staff - looks like husband wife team. Friendly to greet at reception at upper level. Safety wise - As accommodation is located at harbour with large prime movers and containers movements, it is better to travel in groups to look out for each other. I note the drivers are generally careful to look out for pedestrians on the harbour, wharf. Can be a bit dark at night in the surrounding area of the accommodation. Plus point - Double entrance door which allow you to lock inner door in case main door is being accessed externally. Location - About 20mins or so by bus to Busan shopping area where the crowd is. Not too far, The more popular tourist spots, beach sites is further up northeast at Haeundae beach, which is about 1 hour bus ride away. Pricing -, for the pricing, there are better known hotel chains going at more economic rates. So need to do proper research before booking. Else pleasant stay, simple, large room, no fanfare.

Busan in April was absolutely stunning with cherry blossoms everywhere. I stayed here for one night. While the hotel definitely shows its age, and some might be put off by the older interior, plumbing, or a broken doorknob, I personally felt it was kept quite clean, even if not perfectly spotless. The thoughtful touches, like an electric blanket and three different charging cables, were really appreciated. I walked from Jagalchi Station, but the location was a bit tricky to find, as the sign is only in Korean. My tip is to look for the 7-Eleven next door (I think that's what it was). My room was on the 5th floor, and there was an elevator. A lovely 'ajumma' (middle-aged woman) showed me to my room, and a kind 'ajusshi' (middle-aged man) with a great smile saw me off at checkout. For the reasonable price, it exceeded my expectations.

The beach is right in front of you. I could enjoy the scenery after work. It was good because there were many food nearby

I stayed here for 4 nights, 5 days, from April 30th to May 4th. As some other reviews mentioned, I was charged an extra fee upon check-in (^◇^;). When I refused to pay, the lady shockingly told me to 'cancel after the second night and go to another accommodation!' I firmly refused that too. When I told her that this was not what we agreed upon and that I would immediately complain to the booking site, she kept saying 'Mianhaeyo, Mianhaeyo~' (I'm sorry, I'm sorry~) and dropped the extra charge. Apparently, she had forgotten to set the holiday rates when she took my booking... She apologized profusely, and there were no other issues after that, so I think I'll stay here again if I go back to Busan. (All communication was done via a translation app.) The location is fantastic – you can walk to Jagalchi and Nampo, and there's a bus stop right in front. The room is old, but it's not dirty for the price. Both the room and bathroom are spacious and comfortable. There's also a refrigerator (with 3 bottles of water). The TV can play YouTube and Netflix, the Wi-Fi is great, and they even provided an electric blanket, which was much appreciated as it was a bit chilly at night.

I regularly return to this hotel and continue to delight me with its service. nice cozy warm room with a view of the sea and the ferries. There is also a delicious Korean restaurant within a 30-second walk. The rooms on the seventh floor have a Jacuzzi, which is my favorite floor to stay on.

There's a shared refrigerator, and each room also has its own refrigerator. 8. **Comfort:** The air conditioning works very well. The TV offers YouTube and Netflix (for subscribers).

The beach is 600 meters away, there are coffee shops nearby, a 24-hour convenience store, and a coffee machine at the reception. Overall, everything is convenient. The room left a lot to be desired for a Deluxe room. The corners were dirty, and not all the lamps worked with the remote control. The light in the hallway didn't work at all. The door stay kept falling off. Sleeping was fine; the king-size bed had a firm, heated mattress. Heated floors and air conditioning were available. There was water in the room, a kettle, and instant tea and coffee were also available.
